I think two big variables are going to be for everyone which characters you main and knowledge of the opposing characters. This would always create different opinions about every sinngle character.

Have you checked Mishima Complex's anti-Alisa video? He explains how to deal with her chainsaws and even mentions that once you reach a point where she has to use mind games in order to fully utilise her chainsaws, you're fighting the player, not the character. Also her movement isn't the best, that honor goes to Dragunov, his backdash is the best in the game, while his side step is right behind Alisa's, with a caveat, due to her unique neutral stance, Alisa's step is stronger against highs and higher hitting mids, but is weaker against lows and lower hitting mids. She moves her head and torso first, then her legs, hence why she's weaker to lows compared to other characters, and at times being the only character that can't move around certain things such as how after Heaven's Wrath 2, Reina's hellsweep will hit Alisa, while in the same situation, pretty much everyone else can move. Also, if you're talking about her b3+4,3+4 as her "backflip into frontflip", if you wait to walk in on reaction, you're doing it wrong, that's option selectable with a launcher. In Bryan's case, Jet Upper should be your option select, as it will punish raw b3+4 as its a -17 moves, while floating b3+4,3+4. All characters have an option select against that, so trying to walk it outside of an extremely hard read will just cause you to lose a launch punish.
@@TheGianGame It may look like that because it's a forced mixup that you need to get away from, but if you look at it, the risk reward is heavily in your favor where her best reward is a KND on hit, while your best reward is a full combo, and we both know how fun Bryan's damage is. It is a mind game, true, but you can push the risk in your favor. Her main big mids such as DES 1 and DES f1+2 and DES u/f1+2 are incredibly linear, and you can force her to do them after conditioning her with dickjabs when she's at +3. You can orbital her lows at pretty much any point, and you can force her to have to go for the lows by doing armor moves whenever frames allow you. Her main answers to those situations would be to either guess your option correctly, where if she's wrong, she get launched for Bryan damage, or she just doesn't press any button, giving up her frames. So imho, it's not worse than dealing with a Bryan b1 on block/hatchet on hit or with a Lee b3,3 on hit. It just takes getting used to.

I'm a yoshi main so I'm biased lol but I hate going up against Paul too. I just hate how this dude moves like a ps2 character and pokes me out of my movement every time, probably the most frustrating pokes for me in this game But I agree yoshi is also really annoying to deal with especially if you've never played him
Bruh have you played against Paul in Tekken 8?? He has like 4 hellsweeps , 4 deathfists and all the grabs in the world. Yoshi is gimmicky and tricky but at least you can play defense against him
playing against Jin is like playing against Ryu in Street Fighter; you just need to know your fundamentals and apply them correctly; he doesn't require any weird obscure techniques to defend against or to punish him, like a lot of other characters.

Dragunov feels still insanely oppressive to deal with. Jin it's a weird one, I think it is a very hard character to balance in both pro and normal level of gameplay. Lili can be annoying but if labbed a bit is dealable with IMO, still a very tricky match up!
Btw Paul's heat smash is one of the lowest damage in the game. If you want to talk about OP heat smash, how could you say Paul's is better than King or Jack? Legitimately confused.
Paul's heat smash is an unseeable low that wall splats and is -12 on block. I mentioned very clearly in the video how I think Jack's heat smash is arguably the strongest in the game. Regarding Yoshi, I am very aware that my OPINION is very PERSONAL and different from most of the people. Knowing that I have tried to elaborate that in detail, you should check that bit.
