You are amazing. My anxiety just hit me again after a few years of living a moderate to low stress life. After searching anxiety relief videos I discovered yours. I will definitely go back and watch your older videos. Thank you for what you do.
I just now came across your writings and your videos. I'm happy I found it. It's nice to know that you're here and thanks for spending your time to bring this good information. 😊✌️
My BF is a commercial pilot is always traveling by himself for leisure for almost 2 weeks a month; this makes me anxious, jealous, and create a lot of stories in my mind whenever I’m not on the phone with him…HELP!
Just found this channel. Thank you for putting this out here for us. I find my anxiety spikes like crazy more frequently now (probably like many people) and your videos may really help. Thank you!
Thanks for addressing an important topic: Anxiety. Another thing that is often overlooked is all the bad stuff we do that works against our physiology and body chemistry and makes it harder to de-stress. 1. almost everyone could stand to seriously cut-back on the caffeine/espressos/latte's. ...i.e...too much caffeine. 2. Too much salt (potato chips?, etc) can raise blood pressure. I'm not a doctor or therapist, but this is pretty-widely known. Some people go to a health food store and buy: MAGNESIUM--good for nervous system VALERIAN Root--to be less wound up. But you are on your own with those. Check with your doctor.
"anxiety is imagination"... I really love your explanation and revision to this phrase! Thank you for encouraging us all to harness the power of imagination and use it to reframe the scenario!
I always think, "What's the worst that could possibly happen?" Reading the classic "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" by Dale Carnegie has a lot of tips on handling anxiety and worry. My favorite tool from the book is thinking of what is possibly the worst thing that could happen (Which usually doesn't remotely happen anyway). I agree that it is an imaginary state. What other books have folks read to manage anxiety? Are anxiety and worry the same in some respects? Or is anxiety an extreme case of worry?
Great approach! Thanks so much for sharing! I think this will help me a lot with my anxiety and depression! You are a very amazing and beautiful person!
Great points. But what if my imagination is coming up with the worst case scenarios to spare my brain the pain of the best possible outcome not being true? What if I have reason to believe my boss might indeed be firing me and I use my imagination to tell myself “Hey I might get a raise!” but instead I really get fired? Additionally to the pain of getting fired, I’ll also have to feel the disappointment of not getting that raise I imagined.
My Hsv 2 test results came out NEGATIVE after using Dr Azaka's herbal medicine for 2 weeks, thank God I'm now cured from this genital herpes virus, 👀👀 👉DR AZAKA CURE REMEDIES on RUclips💞
