- Here is the next in my series, on 5/8 wheel stud installation. Big safety issue I have missed, check your wheel studs guy's. This features 83 year old Richard Hansen, been tool and die maker, and fabricator for 70+ years. He put 110% effort in doing the best job. It is imperative to have to be perpendicular to the axle flange, otherwise, will not fit like a glove. Do it right the first time. Any company that deals in rear end parts, can provide this service. The girls just wanted to drive The 1940 Ford Coupe, at the end...Thanks for watching,Thank you Richard Hansen/Mike Weaks

@@DragBoss351Cleveland Ive subbed and pointed a few people your direction. Its always a great time talking to someone that can share the ins and outs of actually accomplishing a complex task like machining correctly. There are some things you just cant learn in a book and i always apreciate someone taking the time to explain as they show me whats going on and such. Anyways best of luck on the channel growth and i hope you and the family are doing well and being safe during these difficult times. ✌☺👍
@@bentboybbz thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it. I try to show what works for me, and glad I can explain things in an understandable manner. Thanks for sharing my channel and helping it grow. Slow but sure. Thanks for asking about family, they are safe and heading to school this am. Hopefully can help me finish up a video tonight. Stay tuned.
What if you want to go from 5/8 back to stock size in my case it’s Whatever g body size is?
Kaiden, Then you may need new axles, not sure if they have a solution for that.
Tim, did he use a regular drill bit or a reamer to redrilled your rotors?
I regular drill bit for 5/8. I had to use a dremal to clean them up.
Moser said the shanks are .6875 or 11/16.
Maybe that’s why you had to do a little cleaning..... that would make sense.
But these things are wicked looking. And WOW what a difference between 31 and 35 spline.
@@Mikeyhunts I agree, also look at that stud size, 1/2 v 5/8. Not sure why I did not do it sooner.
Yup I subbed
It will be well worth it. Please share with your friends too if you remember. Thanks my friend
