You have a great resources with John and Randy in your corner!
Forsure thanks!
Very informative John and Randy ARE GREAT GUYS
Yes they are!
Hope to see you soon love your car
Thanks buddy
I was always taught to make a jam. Nut to turn in any stud. So that you don't use pliers on the shank. And Burr it up.
Great advice thanks for that. I thought about putting the lug on but said screw it lol
Looks good Courtney!
Thanks
Knurling. Sounds like Earl , pearl, etc. ;)
Thanks
When you start your tap and it will securely stay there. You put a square on 2 different sides. So that you know you're square when you're tapping the hole and check periodically as you are tapping. And this reinsures that your whole stay straight as you possibly can by hand
Great advice thanks
Get all your pieces send to Courtney or John with return shipping great job Courtney it would fit right in here in AZ
Thanks
👍👍
This is why, I just do 5/8 on all builds. Always get minimum 35 spline Moser axles, too.
Lesson learned for sure
@@ThePaintPaperHustle Well, you weren't planning on it getting to this point, when you started.
I like that billet specialties are already 11/16 shank. Also wait till you see the recommended torque specs for 5/8 studs haha
lol man I’m not torquing no wheels. You bang it with the impact and send it 😂
How many uga dugas
Brother I love your channel at 14:00 the studs look crooked
Yea I use 0.5 camera setting a lot and that distorts things
Just for Xtra insurance might want to use blue or red loctite on lock nuts out back!!!!
Thanks
Gonna be looking forward to seeing the deluxe build and what's instore
I’m stoked about it
Running that tap in with an impact driver would have been much faster. I have been doing that way for twenty years or longer.
Awesome to hear
John's at a crossroads now
Yup
What up bro
Hey buddy
My lugs and nuts rust and drives me nuts. Tired of spending money so they are gonna stay. Just something to anticipate.
Yea Randys don’t and he uses same thing. Ima coat these in oil before installing like a light coat or wd40 and wipe them down
Was that knurl ?
Yes that’s what it’s called
nurl... Its like know k silent..
Thanks
You should have used a starter tap , your using a bottom tap.
Shoot idk the difference 😂
@@ThePaintPaperHustle A starter tap is tapered to start the tap straight.
Cool 😎. I wish i hadn’t had mine drilled for Ford/ Chev pattern (Dual) 1/2”. 🥲
Yea wish I did 5/8 from the start
Armchair quarterback says some retaining loctite may have been a good idea
Not terrible advice
Due to low threads I think it would help keep it in place and be a way better permanent solution
What was the hole size on the flange? I need to swap mine but I think the hole may be too big.
If I didn’t say it in the video then unfortunately I don’t know off the top of my head
@@ThePaintPaperHustle ah gotcha thanks!
Yeah u should sell it, u always said u aint into racing. That way u can spend the money on ur next project.
Man let someone offer me real money and I’ll help load that thing 😂
