Im sure the Old man in Ohio jumped in his truck, grabbed a trailer and hauld ass to Courtneys shop to pick it up for her. This Maverick is probably sitting next to a Falcon right now.
Cleanest most well built comet around. Period. Amazing deal to anyone that have the opportunity to purchase it!! Congrats Courtney, on the bright future you’re investing in.
Aint that the truth, ive got half that in parts for mine laying on the shop floor, im not sure you could build one for that doing all the labor yourself.
It shouldn't matter what the reason is for selling it but its a very smart move on your part, ive watched a ton of your videos over the yrs its a awesome built car , wish it was me buying it, i wish you the best in your business my friend
I just watched the video knowing nothing about this car previously and when you said $60k I about spit my drink out. You're not selling it, you're giving it away. That car is absolutely gorgeous. 😍
I bet Tess, Miss Midnight Maverick, has to be thinking about this one. I would like to see it go to them so the car would remain on youtube for the world to see.
It was and is a labor of love. I remember when you got this car, I could have never imagined what you have made out of it. It will be a sad day when it's no longer with you (us). I totally understand you are selling to grow your business and your family's future. Can't wait to see the Chopped 49' Plymouth finished and on the road. I very proud of you and I know there will be another car for racing someday. Dad.
Thanks! I’ve learned a ton on this car and this car opened doors I never thought it would. It took me to a level I never imagined it would. The new build should take me even farther in life.
Honestly, that's more than a fair price considering all the work that has gone into the car. I thought around $70,000 was a starting price. Good luck with the sale!
ATTENTION TO ANYONE WHO IS READING MY COMMENT. I HAVE WATCHED EVERY SINGLE VIDEO OF THE BUILD OF THIS COMET. CAR HAS VERY FEW HOURS IF EVEN A HOUR ON BULLET & TRANS IT'S FULL POTENTIAL HAS NOT EVEN BEEN HIT ON TRACK . HAT'S OFF TO WHOM EVER IS THE LUCKY ONE TO GET HER 🎉🎉
Knowing the car is literally brand new and those videos are a huge plus to someone or I should say to a particular buyer. 65 grand is a very good deal. If you had been beating on it and running it for the last 2 years I'd say 45. But man it's a beautiful car and someone that has deep pockets will gladly I'm sure pay that money. Best of luck to the land buying.
Like I said in video and Johns I want the money to try and buy land. We already building the new project so I don’t need anything else man. It’s a lot of money for someone to come up with though
A lot of work went into that car hate to see it go but I also understand why ! As always Courtney will continue to follow your adventures and wish you the best
That’s a good deal. Definitely worth it. I’ve done a lot of research the past year on the cost of building a 4 second mid 2000 pound small tire car. It would cost about twice the asking price of this car. I’m guessing it sells before the weekend is over
I know it must be hard to sale, her, I know you are a car guy, and you do have a great eye for detail, this car is outstanding in every way and whoever gets it will be truly getting a well-built car , car is beautiful, Now make sure Harper gets her cut of the money I know she worked hard on it, lol, love the videos of her helping you now go sale the car, Thanks for all of the videos , I look forward to more of your videos
Notable to give up something you worked so had for But to plan for the future is admirable If I but a Salvage corvette I want you to put it back together Enjoy your Chop build look forward to each episode
I knew it, think you got into it because of the group your around. The Plymouth is more your cup of tea. You still will be around racing, now as a crew member. For sale 74 turbo comet, hooks hard and goes straight. Hard to say if you will get what your asking, for that price can get more of a drag car.
I actually was building that car 2 years before I met John and them. I had a reason I wanted to build that car and I had one other maverick I wanted to build better than which I set out to do and did. Same with Plymouth I found one that I wanted to out do and that’s why I bought the Plymouth. Personal goals for me.
I didn’t know the car was originally puke green. In 1974 my old man bought a brand new 1974 4 door Comet for my mom. It was puke yellow with a white vinyl top. It had a screaming 84 HP straight six with an auto trans, AC, PS and PB. 1974 was the first year cars had catalytic converters and very low compression (8:1). That car was the fugliest, slowest POS ever made. My brother and I appropriately named it the Vomit. Nothing like your beautiful car! $60K is a fair asking price buddy!
