We recommend feeding younger dragons smaller meals and 2-3 a day if you can pull it off. Make sure the feeder is size appropriate. For crickets, you can easily feed a dozen every feeding and most dragons will even eat more. However, I do not recommend heavy feeding. Quality not quantity. Make sure you check out our care sheets on our website.

Hey Duke (Go Pack! :-))! Young dragons seem to be in shed constantly. Remember that dragons do not shed like snakes and some other reptiles. They shed different body parts at different times. So.. you can have your dragon shedding its legs and then a couple of weeks later his head and tail may be in shed. Just never know.

Great question Mike. Yes, lots of paths you can take with it. Some go on to either med or vet. school. You could also take a job in research. Personally, I worked in a clinical DNA lab for a year and then went into scientific sales.

Good videos (watched this one and the health one, just one suggestion lower the music volume and/or increase the speaker's volume, it's hard to hear the people over the music at points.

No reptile vets in my area.. :( maybe you can help? Have adult beardie, just noticed one of her eyes is black..eating and pooping great, plays in tub seems healthy. Should I be concerned, or can beardie have two different eye colors? I bought her 2 months ago, didn't notice her eyes, just missing toe and bite indentation on her tail.

I have a bearded dragon with large growths inside her mouth one on side of mouth the other inside upper mouth in the pointed part. The vet called says its a bacterial infection and we may have to put her down. She is starting to refuse insects and not having regular bowel movements. we give her the 10.0, resputin uvb light and her tank is 100 , she gets calcium and vitamin powder on her bugs. Have you encountered this before? we got her from private sale she came with phnemonia that is cleared up but she also has one weepy eye which is on same side as the lump onsid of her face. It is heartbreaking to think after all she has been through shemight still have to be put down.
