1. Choose the important over the urgent. 2. You are greater than what I want to overcome. 3. Avoid the occasions of sin/temptations 4. Bundle temptations - pair good behaviors with rewards and bad ones with unpleasant activities/ penance 5. Give your sins to the Lord/ repent and confess your sins. "Lord may we enter 2026 better than we entered 2025." Amen! Thank you dear brother.
So good!! I need a flow chart of the most common good behaviors/rewards and vices/penances one can adopt and follow. lol 😊 It's way too easy for me to rationalize bad habits away.
Thank you Chris. I always find your reflections so 'real' and helpful. I'm looking forward to journeying with you throughout the year ahead. God bless you and your work.
I love number 4 = pairing. I HAVE to do exercises to keep me going, so I will use having to do more than necessary to remove the vice. Thanks for your work Chris. I love your year of choice!!
Your actually pretty amazing. I became so tired of confessing the same thing, it helped me greatly. Confession is such an amazing gift in soooo many ways.
I’ve always appreciated your tangible, hands-on suggestions. This is a great approach to not just a new year but every new day! Real Life Catholic for sure🎯🙏❤️
Happy New Year Chris. You started it off with a bang. Loved your 5 step guideline especially turning something that I don't want along with something painful to help get rid of that vice. 🎉😊
I am going to buy a bag of Doritos now… 😂 Update 12/8- I bought a bag of Doritos after work. Its only 2 3/4 oz bag- apparently 3 servings. So tonight I am 3 people to eat the entire bag. I will enjoy every crunchy bite. My healthy diet doesn’t begin until February. I have never been so excited to eat Doritos. 😂😂😂❤️
Gods wrath apon man for his glory is the reason for sin and temptation. Gods wrath is overwhelming for some that they cant stop sinning. Jesus said, it's not because this man sinned that he was born blind, it's so God can show his glory (this is Gods wrath)

Doritos: “There’s no such thing as bad publicity.”
Now everyone wants to remember what a Dorito (or two) tastes like.

I think God’s glory is His love🤔🙏
Does God need to put people through misery in order to show his glory?@@sherryland3739
