People who think this movie glorifies bikers are a great example of why movies have *Mature ratings.. You need to be able to actually think and understand what’s going on behind the scenes and not on camera. These people are in hell it looks like, they’re just keeping eachother company.
I agree, the movie does a great job at showing the stages of anarchy through the eyes of a "motorcycle club"". They begin with a goal of becoming self-governing with a background of honor and loyalty guiding them. As soon as the absence of law and order sets in all it takes is a gutless brute to kill his way into taking over the whole organization.
This movie is a sort of tragic story that depicts how many clubs started off with fairly harmless misfits brought together by brotherhood. Once they started to grow quickly, membership became more about numbers than loyalty, and a lack of control allowed the new generation to take over and violence consumed them.
Ive done some hard partying in life. Never did we spit alcohol all over everything or poor it over our heads.....that doesn't look like any fun at all.
His performance here is incredible. That dude is so raw and real, you'd just think this was a home video of a dude talking. He's living that character.
I wish they would have spent a bit more money on his fake teeth so they would have fit his mouth better. He just seems like hes trying to talk with a cheap mouth guard in......
before the walking dead (when most ppl didn’t know who norman reedus was) i was talking about the movie “AIR” and the guy i was talking to was like who’s norman reedus and the only way i could describe him is “he looks like an orphan, but grown up” 😂😂
am I the only one who heard hey Deryl in the background. 0:16 norman reddus is a really great actor, he was quite well known before he played in the walking dead because he played in the boondock saints. interesting fact. there will be another part of the boondock saints soon and I hope Norman keeps his hair long and plays great.
I’m wondering if Norman Reedus PUT ON any screen makeup for this role or did he actually LEAVE IT OFF? 😁. J/K at Norman R. You guys filmed TWD all around where I lived and grew up, out in ATL area of Polar Rock and Old Lakewood Fairgrounds (now a GA. film studio and concert venue for BIG bands). Then up near northern GA and Chattahoochee River, NE to near SC/GA border where space is ample and whitewaters flow to Rapid Level 5!!! Insane! But I am a fan of Normans work, especially the bike show he did riding some awesome steel. If I could ask him 1 question, it would be “Who is the actor(s) he wants to film with and with regularity?” Deniro is linked to Pesci, Adam Sandler to his SNL clique from 80-90s and one was Chris Farley, Burt leads me to think of Jackie Gleason, just which actor brings out the best of Norman Reedus? Reason I ask is that a solo “derelict” or biker type is his best performances, as the sci-fi movie was not good, just TWD and bike show were great for binge watching. He is well known, liked or loved, but what is holding him back from that role, that script, that signature movie (Keanu is action for example. Keanu is NOT made to do an excellent drama right yet. But give him a role and script with supporting characters that compliment him, you get Matrix, John Wick x 3, and more, from the guy who made Bill and Ted). So Norman, get a good movie script, find an actor to grow with or from, and try a new style of action- Boondock Saints meets Scarface in not so distant future!? Roll the dice, 🎲 and you may not crap out. Last piece of advice, I’m a writer, prose, learning Final Draft screenwriting software to write a first screenplay, and to do so a writer often envisions the characters as creating them in their world. What do you, Norman, what to be acting (action, sci-fi, fantasy, ect), and WHO do you choose as a co-star in your own dream movie? (I’m thinking an action comedy that lets you show your humorous side, done with Ryan Reynolds’s, who is about your opposite, EXCEPT Ryan tried the action humor formula in a film called DEADPOOL, and look what developed. That’s all 4 today. G.
It’s just a documentary with an A-List cast. That’s it. Could’ve been on the Discovery channel with standard actors and it wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Im watching it. I wasnt interested but this clip alone has Michael Shannon, Tom Hardy, and Norman Reedus. The movie is fantastic. I say this with full confidence though Ive never seen it.
So is he supposed to be Sonny Barger? I don't think Sonny's mouth was that fucked up. The most implausible part of the walking dead is Darryl riding an antique Triumph in an early 2000's apocalypse where parts for them are rare as hen's teeth
At first I thought Sonny (Norman reedus) was Sonny barger the leader of the hells angels but they were probably already established at the time during the era of this film is based on
Actually, I know some, I know a guy who's nick name is actually, "GUMMY" 😉 You can probably guess why.. Of course then there is the famous duo, 🤘Beavis and Butt-head🤘🔥🔥🔥..
Everybody says Norman reedus was great as Daryl, but that’s because nobody ever seen Norman reedus or Daryl before… but he not a very good actor, and I don’t think he was even all that great as Daryl…
because its based on a loose idea of what biker life was like in the 60s. there’s no true story or plot that jumps off the page despite how good the movie looks visually.
When I watched this scene I said to myself, as much as this era and genre is my favorite. Norman’s fake ass teeth and Hardy’s goofy ass accent was like nah…this shit was written by 24 yr olds that read a lot. This movie is garbage.
I’m convinced Norman just plays Daryl in different times of his life lmao
😂👏👏👏 I could see that
Boondocks saints Daryl is my fav
This is close to if not ultimate form.
He is like Samuel L jackson, a big name actor that only plays Samuel L Jackson in every role.
Bro I'm dyin...so true 😂😂
Shannon is just a fucking phenomenal actor. What a flawless sell on that story and his mannerisms while telling it.
He's one of the greats that's for sure
Great actor!
i was thinking the same, i was unsure it was him. Never saw the movie
and so is the guy playing the california guy
So much range

Ugh. I can smell these guys through the monitor. LOL
Props to the filmmaking then

Norman looking like he got bit by a zombie but has partial immunity
Constantly relating Norman Reedus to The Walking Dead is boring. Have you seen The Boondock Saints?
It's such an amazing cast. Mike Shannon, Tom Hardy, Norman Redus! ❤
The man does love his motorcycles!
I was convinced Edward Furlong was making a comeback, then saw it was Norman Reedus. lol yup, see it now.

Micheal Shannon makes a pretty good biker
Accept he cant actually ride a bike... But plays one well..😉
I'd die if he pulled up and said, "You guys heard of a guy named Rick?"
a lot of good actors
Bro looked for rick for so long he’s wandering into other shows/movies 😂
Micheal Shannon most underrated actor ever
“The White Death” Bullet train
Michael Shannon is most definitely not an underrated actor. Stop saying that stupid word all the time.
Make me and you're wrong
His performance here is incredible. That dude is so raw and real, you'd just think this was a home video of a dude talking. He's living that character.
"I know actor. Actor he from other show I see. Actor in show look different but same guy in now show. Ha! I make joke."
He make clever comment. Ha!
He are good actors. Me no good actors when I sea dem. Hims is gud. I make fire. Then I watch
Great actors in this movie . Can't wait to see it.

I didnt understand this part, was it true or not?
Michael Shannon is so fucking good
This movie could have been so much better. IMO it was a let down.

Lawless was his best work.

Despite what many think, bikers are incredibly nice. Until you cross them. It's all about respect.
Never seen this move, is it worth watching?
Yes
Yes. But it helps if you some what understand that life style from back them. It brings back fond memory's of my mis spent youth.
