- A look at some of the must-see moments of James Dutton in 1883.
#ParamountPlus #1883
1883, a Yellowstone origin story, follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. From Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan, co-creator of Yellowstone, 1883 is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land - Montana.

“ It comes real natural to me.” The most honest quote in this epic mini series. Well done Tim.
“That’s my heart you’re running off with. You better cradle it like an egg”. That quote has stuck with me since I’ve heard it.
As someone who grew up fatherless and had poor taste in men, that line hits hard for different reasons.
The world needs good father's!
It doesn't mean nothing without nobody to back it up.
@@RandallWeeks that's when you need to back up your own heart.
When you discover noone has your back, back yourself.
"Also You do not love her the way I do" is also owsome
That’s because you have a good heart
The BEST series I've watched in a long time! Worth every minute!
Right, it’s one of my favorite shows ever, Taylor Sheridan’s writing was so fucking good for this one, and the cast was great - plus it came out at a perfect time for me personally, I was heavy into Native American books/history, especially about the Comanche, and this show was absolutely perfect for me - I love pretty much everything Sheridan puts together, Bass Reeves was pretty good too, 1923 was a little slow but still awesome, I think it’s gonna pick up in season 2 when Spencer gets back to the ranch and goes Rip mode on Ser Bronn of the Blackwater and the rest of them hooligans coming for their ranch
Thank you for your kindness
Hi😊
My daughter is my first born. She is my heart & soul. Raised her to be tough in a mans world but still be a lady. She is everything a Father could ever want in a child. God fearing, tough, strong willed, hard working, smart, loyal to her friends & family & my best friend too.
ditto bro!🤟🤜🤛✌
Absolutely same thing with my daughter, she is 19 years old now and iv raised her to defend herself and not fear anyone and to never depend on anyone, and I'm so proud of the woman she is becoming. Stay safe sir and great job raising your daughter! They will always remember the effort and time we put into molding them.
Why do you think people give a damn??
I give a damn.
This series left a mark on my soul
My grandpa used to be obsessed with old cowboy films. He was a badass of his own. Never thought I would grow up loving the same things but after experiencing Doc Holliday in Tombstone it was a wrap.

Lonesome Dove
One of my favorite movies ❤️💯
A real man can only understand what it takes for another real man to cry. Its energy we try not to waste on things because it doesnt help. But when we lose something so precious and dear to us, we understand why. A broken heart is much different than a broken soul.
Hands down the best TV show I've ever seen. I know I'm repeating myself, but it's just the truth. The ending was gut wrenching...
I love all of the Yellowstone but 1883 is my favourite.

tim mcgraw should have won every award he was nominated for and not nominated for. his performance was nothing short of brilliant.
He's an anti gunner, a total sell out! Stay in LA, Nashville don't want you!
Man was brilliant in this
I had always held Lonesome Dove higher than any other TV program I had ever seen. Then 1883 came along and made me question that. Such amazing character development in both of them. Then there is the reality of just how hard life was, less than a century and a half ago. That is just 3 generations before me. They are both amazing takes on that era of our country and I love them.
I wish they would come out with another season. Truly amazing

I'm glad you made this video, it reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, $75k biweekly and a good daughter full of love

24:25, the most emotionally gripping writing I’ve ever seen from Taylor Sheridan. And may ever see!

Hi yourself @@alexra342
Absolutely brilliant series, just a shame there wasn’t more of it
Good stories can end in 10 episodes. Better than drawing it out for terrible story telling.
Eh. Although I loved 1883 and would’ve watched 10 seasons of it with a smile on my face…sometimes less is more. Better to be left wishing it never ended than wishing it would just end already. Kind of like Walking Dead 😂
Thank you for sharing this video.
the cost of living to an old age is watching those you love go before you. the elderly do not fear death, they embrace it as an ending of pain and sorrow.
Tim Mcgraw is one hell of an actor. Like seriously!
Tim McGraw is extremely underrated as an actor. He’s killed it in every role he’s played.
He and his wife are both exceptional actors.
@@mt3311
Tim Yes.
This was the best out of all the yellowstone spin off series in my opinion
Really good series wish they would have made more episodes of 1883.
Waaay better than Yellowstone. Wish this had been two or three seasons.
Truly an amazing 10 part TV show. With a stellar cast, beautiful pantoramic scenery. As well as putting one right there with John Dutton. As he went through his journey to find Yellowstone. I only wish this was a longer running shoe. 💪👃✨
Nice 🎉🎉
Made me start crying again when she died.
Hit 200k today. I'm really grateful for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months, Started with 14k in June 2023😊
The final scene almost broke my heart. As a parent, I can feel the heartache
Best part of this series was the daughters inevitable demise...and then she became the narrator for the sequel series....*deep sigh*
Too bad it only lasted 10 damn episodes
Yeah, I really enjoyed this show!!!!!

@@OneChubbSpencer going full Rip mode will be wild
Would have lasted much longer if it wasn’t on Paramount. I’m already paying an insane amount every month just to watch tv.
4:01 The most terrifying "sigh" you will ever hear. 🙂
Best series ever
Tim Magraw is such an underrated actor!!
Pulled out a MF Rolling Block Rifle. What a G
Hey
That ending… 💔
Tim McGraw, Sam Elliot, and Faith Hill were unbelievable in this series. But Tim McGraw really made this series great. I was floored by how good it was.
God know I love this movie a hard life but a dam good one. What a life to live.
It's not a movie. It's a series. And I'm certain you're a bot.
Tim Mgraw was so fucking great in this series. I'm not a country music fan, but I've always liked his music, so for him to imbody, this character so well was awesome.
Literal perfection. 🫶
Elsa dreamed it. John and Margaret found it. Jacob and Cara made it prosper.
24:26 just realized that two duttons died in their fathers arms under the same tree
I couldn't agree more. Had me in tears damn it but I don't care. Sometimes even the toughest men need that. Beats holding all that shit in forever and not being able to do nothing with it. I mean fists fights are great and all but getting arrested and spending time in jail I'll pass
And a bird appeared both times
Tim McGraw put his soul to bear in this performance. What a man 👏🏼👏🏼
This was SO much better than Yellowstone IMHO
Like are done from germany !
Hi
They could have easily made this a long running series. I liked it more than Yellowstone
The best Series
I originally watched 1883 right after finishing Red Dead Redemption 2 for the first time. Back-to-back rootin' tootin' Western genre depression.
10/10, recommend both.
The BEST Dutton.
Only the best for this show!❤❤❤❤ wardrobe, can you pass me the thread!🎉
Everyone says Elsa is their favorite character but James is my favorite character. He's such a badass.
Kurt Russel as one of the cowboys headed to Fort Worth. No fanfare. Just there.
1883 was a masterpiece
Damn they were a different breed back then. I lament what we have become.
Good God damn that's an amazing show
Nikdy nepoužije s i neboť. Blázen je co odpoví .❤:)
This show was the first rv show to choke me up.
I loved her I don't doubt it son
Tim and Faith are better actors than they get credit for.
They are for sure
Yes he was great
THAT IS SO SAD THAT HE LOST HIS DAUGHTER 😢
Are you sure he was James? In 5th season of Yellowstone on his grave we can see - JOHN.
I KNOW THAT IN 1883 HE WAS JAMES.
James Dutton is my favorite, if not him, then John III
Some of the best acting in any series ever. Tim and Faith were incredible. Isabel May should receive every award that's available to be had. This is even better than the great Lonesome Dove.
If only the justice system today was half what it is in this time period
"You don't forgive me? I don't forgive me."
Giving a scope to a man that fought in the civil war is gonna be a bad day lmao
7:24 I have to stop cutting these onions 😘
How dare you forget the pickpocket scene 😡
Heaven help themselves, I understand the Duttons. My grandparents came up the hard way.
I still hope that Jaime Dutton is redeemed.
Oh yeah!
Fella at 2:42 got off easy
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Please tell me what the name of the actoris that played James??!
I know it's not real, but, when ladies are attacked and scared....hurt, I can't watch without getting upset, In The Hills Have Eyes eyes, I have got to fast forward, or leave the room
I tried to get into it. I like the casting but there was 24 people killed in the first episode. Ill just watch rambo😂 lonesome dove is the best ever made. No contest yet
I can’t believe Tim McGraw just endorsed Kamala Harris…sell out 😢
This entire set of shows seems to have gone the way of Game of Thrones. It's a damn shame.
I love is fim cowboys

It’s too bad movie actors aren’t nearly as good as this country singer is at acting
It was a magnificent show. Some Leftoid 😢Virtue signaling but kwpt the Leftoidism to a mimimum
Concealment .....not camoflauge
Tim McGraw hates guns, but he wears em in the show. Mmm makes ya think
Entertainment industry is full of phonies willing to make bundles of money on cops and robbers, cowboys, soldiers, covert agent shows with guns blazing away. That's why I don't listen to their opinions regarding them

NOPE
“I’m 18, I’m allowing it” 🙄 stupid Hollywood feminism
are you mentally handicapped
Nope, just a teenager.
You see them at work, now they’re content creators. We ask them to die for their country at 18, but don’t allow them to drink. 18 year olds who think they have it all down are nothing new, nothing woke, a tale as old as time.
Yeah except the people arguing for their independence were the young men not the young women and they were fighting for their independence at much earlier ages (not some arbitrary age of 18). Young women were not this eager to flee the protection of the home and their fathers on a whim. Traditional understanding of sexes were understood more broadly in a family like this. This is absolutely tainted feminism.
@@draino09 no you are wrong its just teens being teens. She loved someone and wanted to live with him
@@draino09 For most, bible was the highest authority. Fathers "married" off their daughters at 11 and no one plucked an eye. One less mouth to feed and the possibility of gaining an ally for the future. Girls and women were nothing more than chattel, and men simply role players, all the way back to the Garden. That shell was hard fought, cracked and shed, in the last half of the 20th century. Tribalism, of any stripe, is not a viable option, even in the short term. Building ourselves up to push and hold others down is a mugs game. We relax, we adapt, lest we fade away.

No way a drunk cowboy is gonna stumble into the bedroom of ANYBODY and just land on the bed....
NOT AT ALL EVEN CLOSE TO REALISTIC.....
Tim McGraw was absolutely TERRIBLE in this series. He was wooden…a beard with eyes. What a waste. Brought absolutely zero emotionally to the part. His wife Faith Hill was an amazing actor. Really understood her character and brought deep emotion to her role.
