- Hey guys, welcome to another trip report. A couple of weeks ago, I flew on Virgin America, probably for the last time. They have always been one of my favorite airlines, and it is sad to see them becoming history.
Anyways, the terminal at JFK is aging quickly and is too small to handle the number of airlines it does. It was impossible to find an open seat. However, the seat on the plane was amazing. It is the best domestic seat after JetBlue Mint. The meal was also amazing, and the crew was very funny and nice!

As Alaska has already started implementing some of those changes, the quality of the service has seen a precipitous decline. It really is too bad that JetBlue was outbid by Alaska in the battle to take over Virgin. As always, another great video. Thanks so much for sharing...

American sort of tried also with their safety video that removed cheering in 2018 but they don’t do a safety video on most flights because they got rid of the IFE

Virgin has very comfortable seats and the IFE is quite nice. I really like the safety video. It’s like everyone has miniature living rooms. The American Airlines safety video is however my second favorite. I’d take 7 inch PTVs over tablet holders any day. A PTV and a comfortable is something you cannot go wrong with.

Virgin America is the best, it sucks that Alaskan airlines killed such a good brand.
Aaron O'Brien Alaska airlines is dog shit, the whole airline is bland and outdated, Alaskan airlines is an airline straight out of the 90’s. Virgin America was so much better

And they arent killing the brand, geez. All they did was change the liveries (Which are much better now instead of that white for money savings) and change the IFE color from RED to GREEN. I even like the AS 737 seats too.

I've gotten really used to VX's F product over the last two years, mainly between SFO-SEA & SFO-LAS. I must say, it is by far my fav. domestic F product (that I've experienced) and I'm so sad to see it disappearing soon. The legroom itself is crazy comfortable, not to mention the power seats & massage functions. After my flights with VX, all other F products just seem so "blah." Never got to try the 321 either.

You should fly Virgin Australia! It’s the same, but, IMO better...I flew them from SYD to LAX and LAX to BNE ...I also flew V America to get to Washington so I can compare it to V Australia’s domestic service...Come to Australia one day! You’ll love it...Airports and staff are much better here I feel.

Yes, we all fly into LAX from the city side...Flying west towards to ocean.. Then when all us leave LAX it is west towards the ocean and then a few right turns over the ocean then back east coast.. Too cute..

Surprised they only have 2 first class rows. I have no idea what the merger will bring a year or two from now. Allegedly all the Airbus planes will be sold. Also no idea as to the future of entertainment systems after the merger.

I have two criticisms:
-If that livery is really supposed to represent the West Coast well then the West Coast is definitely dull and boring.
-It may be very cool indeed but safety announcements are to be taken seriously for the good of everyone on board, not taken as a joke and a distraction. And most importantly they must be UNDERSTANDABLE.All this singing and autotune means serious lyrics about what to do in case of an emergency go misunderstood or not heard.
After I saw the pilot thingy screw what I said that is now the best airline ever.

Alaska has great crew but man they are cheap, taking out the seatback tvs and removing the amazing recline in the first class seats moving us back to 1989 in seat design, just to make more room for seats, it annoys me greatly!!!!
