There's some crazy acting in Scarlett Johansson. She almost didn't blink her eyes. I also love her way to say one blanket, which sounds really like a robot.
Scar Jo nailed every bit of that! Totally wonderful robot acting. Her voice when she handed that blanket and that last scene of her robotic act where she was supposed to be lagging was so accurate.
That was everyone on the phone with a voice robot. You sound ridiculous, but start yelling at it as if it were a real person, and it doesn't change anything, but you still do it.
There is a perverse satisfaction from yelling and cussing at a robot voice. It is as if you're getting back at it for being completely impersonal and saying, "oh yeah, well than don't take my yelling and cussing personally". And, of course, it doesn't. But like Jasmine Houston said, you do it anyway.
