I think the difference between him and all of us is just 2 things.
1. Precision fine tuned to the max
2. He has the balls to nearly exceed limits every corner
its not really the balls to do it, id say most people exceed anyway and still are 5s off his pace. i think its more just the skill to stay on the limit

Love sim racing myself, and it goes without saying Jarno is maybe the best to ever do it, but one thing I hate about sim racing is that track limits are an absolute joke and you have to put the car in places it would never be in a million years in real life to extract lap times that are impossible. I wish they’d fix this.

Are track limits different on PC from XBox? Because anytime I take the kerbs even remotely the same way that Jarno does, I immediately get an invalidated lap.

Yep and holy hell am I mad about it. My friend is on PC and everytime I get an absolute banger of a lap after hours of perfecting It, my friend responds with a laptime that is close to two seconds faster and he can take advantage of the track limits so much more realistically!

1. Flat throttle on corners on turns 5-9

Im sure Esports drivers get additional track limits to help promote the game and their ability. On two occassions all 4 wheel were off the track but for people like us we get invalidated asap

it's impossible to go faster than someone using a wheel at a certain point. With a controller when you go from steering left to right it would go like (left - centered - right) on steering wheel (left - right) in a smooth transition.

At a few places in Jeddah, the track limit is not actually the edge of the pavement but the outer edge of the curb/kerb. It's a funny thing but I promise, Jarno is for real
