Mountain lion runs inside California business

- A mountain lion was captured after running into an Irvine business. Authorities were able to tranquilize the big cat shortly after. No injuries were reported.

My buddy told me there were a lot of cougars in Irvine.

The last of the population that lived in the Santa Ana mountains then? Its crazy but sad to see the war has forced them into our cities. There are about 30 cougars roaming those mountains, they're closed in by city from all sides, it's honestly crazy to think that there are such dangerous beasts right next to our cities.

California gotta do something about this There more Cougars/Moutain Lions On the street then Regular Alley cats and dogs
mtn lions are way less a threat than mutts. True animals like mtn lions and coyotes (all common in so cal) rarely attack people, they avoid us. Dogs are nasty, noisy unnatural animals that are more human aggressive (not to mention loud and ugly).
Maybe if they stop cutting down forest and making houses where these animals live it wouldnt be a problem

It’s just scared also they should tranq it with super strong tranqs. It probably has a lot of adrenaline that’s why it’s probably ineffective
