Thanks very much Geoff! I know what you refer to about getting back at painting. This was the first semi-serious painting I’ve done in quite a while. Fun to get back at it again though. I find just doing small sketches at first can help get you back in the mood. I will watch your link to the video.. sounds interesting. 😊

What a beautiful gift to create, and give, from your heart. I hope your son always cherishes this very touching, and heartwarming gift.
Amazing work Todd! Reminds me of the work of James Gurney. One of my favourite artists.
You are a very talented artist Todd. Thank you very much for sharing your creativity, skills, and thoughtfulness! Pat

Many thanks Pat! I’m afraid I’m not in James Gurney’s league but nice to be compared to him as he is also one of my favourites. I may still refine the painting a bit to finish it off. Just busy with puppy right now. 😊

Wow, very nice painting - composition and colour. I used to paint when I was younger, but I am having a hard time getting into it now.
I watched an interesting video about why the allies had a white star on their vehicles: ruclips.net/video/X8AAgrWIYu4/видео.htmlsi=Qfh6O1VBMP9oFcfg
