The interesting thing with Queen is they could switch out their themes and the range of types of songs from sombre to operatic to happy rock . The Lead Singer Freddie Mercury was a showman on the stage with outfits and presence tragically taken dying well before he was done as a result of the HIV/ AIDS virus at 45 (my age). He also wrote and composed music it is worth looking at some of the documentaries of his life and his interviews.

Here are some song suggestions by queen: -
    1) Somebody To Love
    2) We Will Rock You - We are the champions, do react to both the songs together since they are meant to be played like this
    3) Another One Bites The Dust
    4) Fat Bottomed Girls
    5) Crazy Little Thing Called Love
    6) It's Late
    7) Who wants to live forever
Whichever songs that don't have an ''official Video''. Instead have an ''Official Lyrics Video'' , react to those
And as many have said , react to Queen At Live aid , voted as the best rock concert of all time

Ok short history, Freddie Mercury - lead singer, died in 1991 at 45 years old from AIDS, originally from Zanzibar but went to college in London and met Brian May, curly haired one, Brian is an awesome guitarist but also has a PHD and is an astrophysicists. They also met Roger Taylor, drummer, he has BSC Biology and is voted 8th best drummer in the world. This leaves the one everyone forgets, John Deacon, grew up in the next village to me, he composed many of Queen's songs, he has a first class honours degree in electronics. He is now retired from Queen but Brian and Roger do still play and have toured as Queen with other lead singers. A little education. The singer's name is Freddie Mercury and he has gone down as the greatest vocalist rock singer of all time. He was born Farrokh Bulasara and was born in Zanzibar under the British Directorate. He died of complications through AIDS in 1991 and there will never be anyone quite like him EVER. He had a 4 octave vocal range. Now you've discovered Queen you won't be able to stop. All band members are/were highly educated with Brian May (the guitarist) having a PHD in Astrophysics.
I first saw Queen at Live Aid in 1985 when I was 16 years old and have been a fan ever since, I'm now 52! I have been lucky enough to have seen them live 3 times, once at Live Aid and twice the following year July 1986 Wembley and August 1986 Knebworth. Check out some suggestions below, keep going with Queen as I absolutely LOVE the younger generation discovering Queen. They are by FAR the best bad ever, and the only band to sound even better LIVE than in the studio !!!! Freddie's showmanship can NEVER be replicated. RIP Freddie my ultimate hero, you were and STILL are a LEGEND my dear xxxxx
Live Aid 1985 - the whole 20 minute performance - this has gone down as the best performance by a rock band of ALL time - the world stopped spinning at 6.40pm that day !
Another One Bites the Dust - LIVE at Wembley 1986
Save Me - LIVE at Montreal 1981
Somebody to Love - LIVE at Montreal 1981
Love of my Life - both LIVE Montreal 1981 + Wembley 1986
    Now I'm Here - LIVE Wembley 1986
Who Wants to Live Forever - LIVE Wembley 1986
Bohemian Rhapsody - LIVE both Montreal 1981 + Wembley 1986
Dragon Attack - LIVE Montreal 1981
Under Pressure - LIVE Wembley 1986 [ultimate crowd control]
One Vision - LIVE Wembley 1986
One Vision Documentary - making of the song watching the band members work their magic
Please please please keep up with Queen and react to some, if not all, of the above, you'll be amazed at how many tune in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stay safe from Manchester UK xxx

Queen is Freddie Mercury lead singer, Brian May guitar, John Deacon bass and Roger Taylor on drums. They had a wide range of styles as all 4 members of the band wrote songs. The White Queen is a must, Somebody to love and as mentioned by many Live Aid

The guitar that Brian May is playing is his own Red Special, hand-built by him and his dad in 1963-64. Apart from the occasional replica, he's used the Red Special throughout his entire career.
Next up really has to be We Will Rock You, the greatest rock anthem ever.

Queen are such an institution in the U.K. that my kids used to perform this song at school recitals 😁 it sounded soooo damn cute sung by 50 + young school kids.
You could watch the recent movie “ Bohemian Rhapsody “ to find out all about Queen.. Remi Malik plays a fabulous Freddie Mercury.

Freddie Mercury is actually Indian. His parents worked for the British Government in Zanzibar and he was educated in India. After a revolution in Zanzibar his family moved to London.

The soundtrack of my life when I was about 9 or 10 years old. For a solid two years or so their greatest hits I & II albums were the all I listened to every day of my life. Then Freddie died in 1991. I couldn't believe it. That was my last year of primary school. Brian May was my idol.

This has probably been said, but Queen also wrote all their own music/lyrics Freddie Mercury had a legit large vocal range; as did Elvis. Freddie admired Elvis btw and wrote 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' after Elvis died in '77 as a tribute. Am long time fan of Elvis/Freddie as appreciate artists who can really sing and don't mime to backing tracks! Love from London. ☺

I watched you react to Queen yesterday and absolutely knew you'd be back for more. They are addictively great. I was going to suggest this one song and EVERYONE will tell you to watch their set at Live Aid in 85. They are not wrong. I saw them the following year and what can I say? Everything you hoped they would be and then some.
As Freddie so rightly says "don't stop me now" so don't!
Awesome reaction yesterday btw. Imagine what it was like in 75 to see/hear that? Mind blown. Peace, love & music from East Coast of England.

Now you've started doing these Joel it truly will be 'Don't stop me now' as there is so much of their music to listen to. Please will you do 'Breakthru' as the official video has them on the back of a steam train and it is pure gold. Another few are 'I want to Break Free, I'm going Slightly Mad and the band's final song/video (Freddie was dying) These are the Days of our lives, which is a beautiful but emotional song.

The range of lyrics in Queen songs-or even just the ones written by Freddie Mercury (the lead singer)-is so vast, it goes from everyday stuff to fantasy/fever dream to inspirational, deep thoughts/feelings to swooning love ballads. They cover everything! With Queen, I think you just go with how it makes you feel and don’t bother trying to piece apart the lyrics; Freddie, when asked what some lyrics meant, declined to answer and said he wanted their music to mean whatever it meant to each listener. About not hearing the British accent-when I was about 5 yrs old, I went with my older sister to see a Beatles movie in the early ‘60’s, and I was shocked to hear their British accents when they talked (which I had never heard before; had only heard them sing) and I remember asking my parents afterwards why we couldn’t hear their accents when they sang, so I think that kind of thing has been around a looooong time, since humans started singing. Btw, I think you mentioned Don’t Stop Believing as a suggested Queen song to react to. Great song but it’s by Journey. Maybe you said or meant Don’t Stop Me Now. Either way, thanks for this great reaction and keep ‘em coming please. There is sooo much more Queen to react to!
