I honestly don’t think that the Spino would’ve attacked the two Rexes together. Sure she can take on a single juvenile Rex, but a pair of hardened adults? Not a chance

The baby Rex is probably not as adorable and helpless as it use to be. If it were to be featured in one of the newest movies, it would be quite genius for the director to focus on the scars left on it's body from getting caught in that trap.
Imagine if the Tyrannosaurus family became a pack, living in a patriarchy. The oldest male, the Buck T-Rex, is the leader, while now grown up Junior T-rex is the beta and eventually takes the role of alpha because his father is getting too old and weaker. Also Junior would have a female mate and kids now.
@@WhyTho525 Right. A male can turn female in a single sex environment, so therefore the baby Rex can have kids. Which is probably Isla Sorna was seen to have a part in Jurassic World: Dominion.
@@TivonSanders There are probably more wild male and female Tyrannosaurs on Sorna than what we have seen in TLW and JP3, so Junior can find a female for himself alone.
I think the Buck and Doe are sadly gone, since they’re probably around the same age as rexy and don’t live in the comfort of captivity, as for Limper he’s probably taking his parents place as top predator of the island.
I agree with you on the age thing, except that animals in captivity usually live far shorter lives than those in the wild. But even so, a Trex was thought to live 20 - 30 years which could mean the same outcome assuming the JP Rexes were to the same specification.
That depends on the animal but actually it's usually the other way around. Animals in captivity live longer since they are protected from the dangers that would normally kill them in the wild, don't suffer from food shortages, and can receive medical care whenever they are ill or injured. There's a few species that do not do well in captivity that sadly have much shorter lives. But as seeing Rexy is still alive several years later, suggests that her species does live longer in captivity than in the wild. So if the Rex family is dead, it's most likely due to the elements, getting hurt and/or killed by another animal (several herbivores on that island have some nasty defenses that could seriously hurt or kill a predator), food shortage, or even disease.
I agree with your logic, but everything I've read about wild animals being held in captivity has said that their lifespan shortens. The articles are specifically referencing Zoo animals however, not domesticated dogs and cats. In that light, and considering the diet, roaming habits, and immensity of the Trex, I would think they lived shorter lives. Also, consider that Rexy hasn't been in captivity her entire life. She was free for the majority of it after being let out in JP1.
That is interesting. Then I concede, it is a species-specific thing. In light of this, knowing that different animals have varied lifespans in captivity, what is your opinion on a Trex specifically in captivity? I personally still think they would live less time simply because they are so large and would need space and the pleasure of hunting. I am pretty sure a Trex would be subject to a lot of anxiety surrounded by walls.
Yea I understand that after doing more research due to the comments. However, it seems as though very large animals such as elephants have a harder time of it. In light of this, I think dinosaurs, being larger than anything currently living, would not cope well in captivity simply due to their size, despite the Jurassic Franchise "spare no expense" philosophy. None of this can be tested so it is all fun conjecture at this point, nobody is right or wrong. The reason animals live longer currently is that most zoos have to pass the USDA APHIS, which ensures they are treated well and are kept as healthy as possible while in captivity. My prior knowledge was taken from before they were active when zoos were pretty inhumane. There are still Zoo's which do not pass this and animals do not live as long but they are fewer, such as traveling Zoos.
I hope the T Rex family survived. It would break my heart to hear they died from lack of food and I would be unbelievably enraged if the Spinosaurus got them.
The spino couldnt take down two pissed off, experienced adults in a fight. And if they also had the infant with them, that makes 3 vs 1. If they ever did meet, then the spino is dead
vincent vadachino Anybody can lose with 3 vs 1.... Its like saying 3 Spinos fighting one Trex. All im saying is in JP3 the Spino was more Intelligent, his snout was bigger than a normal spino. And with 60 ft in length
It really depends on their metabolisms. Removing a bunch of large herbivores from Sorna might have actually been a good thing, since ecologically speaking, that island wasn't going to withstand having that many large herbivores constantly grazing, and the herbivores would've started starving first. We know from paleontological studies that rex was not only an active predator but would happily scavenge as well, so you would've seen the herbivores decline before you saw the rexes beginning to struggle. However, if Masrani Corp removed enough of the large herbivores to sustain the ecology of the island, then it's actually possible that it would have benefited the predators more than hurt them. Carnivores eat less than herbivores. Large herbivores have to constantly eat a certain percentage of their body weight every day and as such are spending most of their waking hours grazing. Predators can make one kill last a week, sometimes even longer. It's like how the mosasaur survived so long in captivity after the park was abandoned; salt water crocodiles, currently the largest living reptile, are able to go two YEARS without eating. The general rule is, the larger the predator, the slower the metabolism. So if the rexes only needed to take one kill a week and would also scavenge off of other kills and natural deaths, then it's entirely possible that the rex family is not only surviving, but thriving. I think the predators that would've been in bigger danger would actually be the raptors, since they would've been competing against the rexes for the same prey, and as we've seen, rexes have no problem taking out whole packs and probably eating them as well. There's also the possibility that Wu made changes to slow down their metabolisms even further, to make it cheaper to feed the carnivores.
Also, this reminds me: Why would Masrani allow the Tyrannosaurs on Sorna to starve to death ? Think about it, he said that the Indominus Rex's creation costs at least millions or something. How much does the cloning of Tyrannosaurus Rex? It's definitley not cheap. So my theory is that in case Rexy died of old age in Jurassic World, Masrani would've taken 1 or few Tyrannosaurs from Sorna for Jurassic World as the main attractions. Remember, the Tyrannosaurus Rex is the most popular dinosaur and the majority people who visit Jurassic World would want to see fully grown adult Tyrannosaurus Rexes, so in order to spare money he would just bring another adult T-rex from Sorna and solve the problem. Now the Velociraptors is a different question, because I think he did saw or understood how dangerous the first Velociraptor variant (the ones in Jurassic Park and The Lost World) was by reading old InGen reports or maybe Hammond told him about it before his death (or possibly even surviviors of both Jurassic Park and 1997 Isla Sorna Incidents? Alan Grant maybe?). According to Evolution of Claire novel, he did try bringing inna JP3 type of Velociraptor to Jurassic World, but that raptor broke free and started to kill employees so it was put down. I guess he needed Owen to train Velociraptors who are not as agressive as the previous 2 Raptor variants were and use them as later attractions for Jurassic World.
@@WhyTho525 Would making Tyrannosaurus really be that expensive? To make any dinosaur, they're gonna have to mine for amber, extract the dna, then fill in the gaps which should be very expensive and time consuming. But once they already have the dna, then incubating them should be relatively easy and not as expensive. The Indominous was more expensive because it was a hybrid that took the dna of a dozen species of living and extinct animals, and Wu had a other failed attempts which were likely also costly. We saw that they are able to make dozens of herbivore and velociraptor eggs at a time, cloning a T-rex egg shouldn't be anymore expensive as making the other ones. There have been calculations done on how much a Rex needs to eat based from it's size, and they'd need around 6 goats or around 2 cows per day which shouldn't be that expensive given that T-rexes bring in thousands of guests. Also we know that Jurassic World lets some of the dinos breed normally instead of having to clone them, so they won't even have to clone them if there's still a pair left somewhere. But yeah you're right, taking the already full-grown T-rexes is way better than going through the hassle of making new ones. Meaning those other T-rexes were either dead, or Ingen was using them for something else.
@@analogicaleuphimism2078 Or maybe they were waiting for Rexy to kick the bucket and replace her with a new and younger one taken from Sorna. We did learn in CC that there were surviving Tyrannosaurs on Sorna like Big and Little Eatie
I can't imagine them letting the rexes and raptors die off. They would be such big draws to the park. I could see them not caring about the ecosystem or some of the herbivores. But I would imagine that they would make sure the predators had semi-easy meals. Maybe cows and goats that could be shipped their when lysine enriched meat.
Yeah, but I also don't think THAT many Herbivores can fit onto Nublar. Just compare Sorna's size to Isla Nublar. Isla Sorna is much bigger and possibly much more animals live there than on Nublar. InGen and Masrani Global certainly couldn't bring ALL Herbivores onto Nublar. Also notice how the JW Stegosaurs and Ankylosaurs look very different from the ones we saw on Isla Sorna in TLW and JP3. I think they mainly took DNA and made more "park-friendly" breeds of Stegosaurs and Ankylosaurs.
I’d say the infant is probably alive and all grown up. The parents might have died or could still be alive. It would be nice to have something in the new film address this. Though sometimes things are better left to interpretation.
Maybe they might be still alive like rexy but infant is definitely alive and i think that like how they brought indominus rex bone secretly.they might have brought the tyrannosaurus family and other dinosaurs too this is just my think
@@sujalvkappikeri7604 I kinda think that Mills sercetely planned to bring Isla Sorna Dinosaurs to auction them off if the Auction in Fallen Kingdom wasn't wrecked by Owen and the Stygimoloch.
@@sujalvkappikeri7604 Also judging by how one of the raptor headsculpts resemble the JP3 female Velociraptor, I think BioSyn or some poachers are kidnapping Isla Sorna dinosaurs and sell them off in Malta and other parts of the world. I wish we would of gotten a mini series to explain everything in between the movies. You know. The parts of the book that they didn't get to do. Muldoon death in the movie was because the actor was ill and had short time. If he was still around, we probably would of gotten another movie before lost world. In my opinion.
I believe that there’s a great chance that The Lost World Rex family at least the two adults are thriving on Sorna. Take Rexy for example she was able to thrive just fine with a very limited amount of herbivores to eat for a # of years. I think that we have to see them soon on screen. I would personally love it more so than even Rexy.
@@cs77smith67 I think she'll fight the other female considering rexie as a female would want to have her own mate and youngs and raise a family of her own. If they have the same extinct as a modern aviary, then building and nurturing family is their most top priority.

This site made me have faith in the JP canon for the first time in about ten years, not only does this new detailed InGen list make the board room scene canon again as they refer to the "clean up" in 1994, it also validates the trespassers canon from Hammonds memoirs "the seven rulers of the island" according to this list they had six rexes at Site B and one on Nublar. Simply beautiful, thank you for bringing my attention to it!
I have a hunch that someone was flying over head dropping food down to them. Who would let millions of dollars just waste away? What about the Rival company ever sneaking aboard after JP game and maybe stealing them that way too and somewhere else there are some alive.
@William Patterson That actually might be the case for Dominion's plot. One of the set photos have a Dromaeosaur headsculpt which looks very similar to the JP3 female Raptor. BioSyn probably kidnapped them from Sorna after the events of Fallen Kingdom
The eco system we seen of Site B in JP3 was a highly dinosaur populated island that was fully sustainable even with the carnivorous on the island. Going from 1993 to 1997 to 2001 to present day with Isla Sorna I'd say the eco system would still be well balanced. Jurassic Park had Brachiosaurs, Parasaurolophus and Gallimimus so they wouldnt have to take them off Site B to populate Jurassic World well depends on how hungry Rexy got. Hoping that Ingen and there team took what they needed for Jurassic World not damage the system on Isla Sorna for the dinosaur to repopulate without any damage. Same with present day Animals you relocate to help the eco system but no too much too damage it. Hopefully we will see Isla Sorna one day. 😁
I think there needs to be more Jurassic Park movies making use of Sorna and maybe even have a plot where board members of inGen illegally moved dinosaurs from Sorna to one of the other 5 islands in that island chain
Honestly one of the best content creators out there, always entertaining content and as a huge Jurassic fan, always looking forward in hearing and seeing what you have in store each day! Keep it man!
Undim Spinosaurus went extinct again, check the DPG’s website... It sucks but I guess they had to do it to ensure rexy became the top character/predator again :(
Coming back to this video now knowing that they are back now with rexy it actually feels nice seeing how it people might have thought what happened to them
I hope the spino is alive to make it into another movie at leasts. Either seeing as a "bad guy" again would be cool or maybe being redeemed as in killing a hybrid or something ( or have fight a grown up baby rex from the lost world). This does make wonder if the Carno, Allosaurus, or the other new dinos we saw in JW were around all along on sorna.
The Lost World and JP3 actually took place on two completely different parts of the island so the T Rex that the Spino killed could NOT be the same one from the T Rex Family since their locations on the island would be way too far for reasonable travel between territories. It just wouldn't make sense for the Junior Rex to travel that far across the island. Just wanted to clarify. I love your videos. And as always, take it easy. 😉
We know now from Dominion that the three Rexes from JP2 all are still alive. One of the best confirmations from that movie (the other big one for me is that the Spino dies in Camp Cretaceous season 5, which isn’t out yet, but we’ll see when it comes out. They said any dino that isn’t dead that appeared in the old films would be in dominion, and there was no spino, so that’s why I’m pretty sure it’s gonna die in season 5).
jenny talia My thoughts exactly. The exact moment that the Spino broke that T. Rex's neck and knocked its corpse to the ground, its popularity was forever followed and affected by dino lovers everywhere. Most people hate it literally all because of that single 30 second fight. I really want to see it make some kind of appearance in future films, or at the very least addressed at some point to confirm its fate. Even if it appears lying near-death on a river bank riddled with bullets and burn marks, barely able to lift its head to glare at any humans who happen to find it, at least we'll know for sure what happened to it. I can't stand not knowing exactly what happened to it, or any of the dinosaurs left on Sorna for that matter; the T. Rex family deserves as much of an addressal to their fate and future roles as the Spino does, especially considerng the marks they've all left in their respective film appearances.
Realsteelman 99 You know it hasn't been confirmed, right? The skeleton in Jurassic World was a different Spino since the crest on its head was different and it was significantly smaller. Also, since only one Spino was created, I think they would've mentioned if it was dead when they talked about the Sorna dinosaurs being relocated. Since the list of endangered dinos was only for Nublar, it's possible that the Spino is still alive somewhere on Sorna. Until we either see it die/dead or one of the guys working on Jurassic World 2 confirms it, we can't say for sure that it's dead. Taking into consideration that it was strong enough to survive getting hit by a plane, bit by a T. Rex and guns that can severely damage a plane, I find it very likely that it is still alive somewhere.
The baby is probably the same size as the jp3 t-rex now Guys I'm not saying anything about the jp3 t-rex I'm saying that the baby from the lost world is the same size the jp3 t-rex was the jp3 t-rex is dead get the fact straight
JELLEKE GAMING Weren't you paying attention to the video, not 2 minutes in klayton said the directors, writers, producers etc neither confirm nor deny that the JP3 T-Rex was the the baby from JP2 and considering that the T-Rex from JP3 was a different color than any of the T-Rexs from JP2 and lived in/the events of JP3 took place on completely different part of isla sorna, the evidence is in favor of the JP3 T-Rex being a newly (And temporarily) introduced dino in the franchise.
I remember my dad taking me to see the Lost World when I was 4....what a way to teach your young son about sharing, lol! Still my favorite JP movie to date :)
I guess we can have new theories about the T-Rex family after Dominion because... SPOILERS AHEAD: Rexy meets two other Tyranossaurus, and I believe they could be the two adults from Sorna (and it would mean the infant one was indeed the one who got killed by the Spinossaurus. His handicap would even explain why he was so easily defeated)
I believe the baby was taken to Jurassic World. If you look closely at Jurassic World’s visitor center there’s a panel for a very specific green buck with the exact same model as the lost world.
Buck & Doe were shipped to Biosyn Sanctuary, same with Rexy and they met at the end of Jurassic World Dominion. However, Junior (the child of buck & doe) is likely in Biosyn Sanctuary, however that’s unknown and it could’ve remained on Sorna.
Kiryu The Dragon Warrior or maybe Blue will give birth. She has monitor lizard dna in her and monitor lizards can asexually reproduce. So maybe she will lay an egg or two. But I would think just one.
I don't think that T-Rex that the Spino killed in JP3 was just a random male Juvenile T-Rex; that and I didn't see it limping or anything. Considering the infant's leg wasn't properly taken care of with the lack of medical equipment on the trailers, the baby may have had some difficulty but managed to adulthood. BTW thanks for touching up on the T-Rex Family from the second movie, because I've been wondering that myself.
How big are islands? Certain animals require a certain amount of space to live, so being such massive animals I would say nature would take it's course. Evolution eventually would of make them smaller.
Never clicked on a video so fast. Man you are seriously taking advantage of this release of information talk about stumbling across a goldmine of videos.
Klayton, I know this massive lore dump is gonna have you busy for a while, but I was wondering if your gonna have a video covering all the general tidbits formed the leaked files (obviously the 5 different t rexes from sorna whose fate is unknown, burlt also the sick trike that was eaten by rexy, compys sneaking onto Nublar, baby and juvie wild raptor corpses being found on nublar, etc...) And if you will address the book that's been announced covering Claire's progression from an intern to JW, and your thoughts on the toyline ( I know I just pelted you with questions a plenty, but I'd like to know your thoughts, can't wait for the next video!)
I've already recorded a HUGE vid on the toyline that I still need to edit down, but yes thats coming soon! :D Along with everything else you listed haha. All should be out within this week and the next :D
Hey Klayton, love your channel man. I share the exact same passion for JP/JW as you do. One nice tidbit you might want to add to your toyvid is that almost all the dinosaurs that were originally going to be in Jurassic Park (as seen on the JP map) are present in the toyline. All except for Segisaurus, Parasaurolophus and Brachiosaurus. So one could speculate that we may be getting all of them eventually? Seeing as Segisaurus is quite small and easy to produce and the Para just being a classic dino which would fit quite well in the roarivores sortiment. Brachiosaurus may be challenging but if the mosa und big rex of the line sell well we might just get our first proper Sauropod. Love your videos dude, keep em' coming!
You should make a video on if Rexy would have grown a natural fear of humans or atleast the need to protect them, seeing as they have captured her atleast 3 times and she spent the first 5 years of her life with them. Because like most animals, once they've seen what humans are capable of they usually grow a fear. This is common behavior in Orcas and was even brought up in the Lost World with the Compys
I was watching another video when I got notified of this one, needles to say I jumped over quickly! Personally, I am really curious as to what happened on Sorna, I just hope they don't just hand wave it off.
Cass the Nerd I fear that sorna according to the new lore was stripped and all the asses where moved or didn't survive :( The site mentions that Nublar currently is the only island with Dino's on it, but I hope it's not true
Anybody else absent mindedly just pound a thumbs up upon opening the video? Haha! Thanks Mr Clayton! Helping sate this insatiable appetite for jwfk. Respect y'all!
On the Jurassic Park Wiki it says that the Spinosaur killed a T-Rex named Bull. Buck & Doe were the parents of Junior who is the child T-Rex in the Lost World. Rexy is the T-Rex on Nublar.
It's a shame some of the Dino's from JP3 are as good as dead. The original Spinosaur is almost certainly dead without so much as a mention in the movie. Not to mention the Ceratosaurus...
Great vid as always Klayton, and I have come up with my own theory as to what happened to the Rex family from The Lost World. I hope you see my comment as a huge JP also... It's kind of a simple one based on what you mentioned about the Baby Rex... The entire rex family were killed by the Spinosaurus. I think this a perfectly plausible theory as to what happened because in The Lost World which was set in 1997, the two adult rex's appeared to be the dominant dino's on Sorna. This is four years before the events of JP3, set in 2001, where the Spino is the ultimate badass. So, back in 1997 the Spino was too young and still too small to be able to stand up to a fully grown Rex. Four years later the Spino probably reached it's peak maturity and was then in a position where it was able to take on a full grown Rex by itself, as it probably became more and more territorial as time went on. Hammond tells Malcolm in The Lost World that some of the dinosaurs on site b are "fiercely territorial", which could easily mean the Spino was too, and if one of the Rex's happened to venture into the Spino's territory it would have triggered an instant fight to the death between the two, and because the Spino is so powerful it's possible it could have taken on the two parent rex's at the same time. So when Grant and the others come across the Rex in JP3 just before it fights with the Spino, I daresay yes you are correct, the T-Rex that we see die in JP3 is in fact the Baby rex from The Lost World, who may not have had too many fights and isn't able to defend itself as good as it's parents might have been able to.
The other night I noticed Jurassic World is finally on Netflix. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Loved it in the theatre 3 years ago, and enjoyed it so much yet again. Great movie.
Fingers crossed, but the unknown facts may prove later on. I’d wish they would build on the lore instead of interacting and taking from it. But tis what it is. Eddies death was just traumatizing along with Zara. (R.i.p ☹️)
Yeah it feels like a waste of potential and material to simply kill of Sorna, the Rex family, and the Spino since fans actually like them. I don't see why they couldn't just leave them in the background and reintroduce them later.
Honestly, I think very few dinosaurs remain on Site B, if any. However, if there are still dinosaurs that live on the island it will be the smaller animals like the Compsognathus, Velociraptors, Gallimimus, & Pachycephalosaurus. I think that the larger predators would run out of viable food sources and eventually starve. Or at the very least food sources that require more energy to capture then they give. The smaller dinosaurs could survive on the native wildlife like the small mammals, lizards, and maybe even birds (avian dinosaurs - lol).
Kim S. - Depending on the rate and time of decline in the larger prey species on the islands. The T-Rex parents might have resorted to canabalism and have eaten their own infant in order to survive.... Kind of a morbid thing to think about but a definite possibility.
DJ118USMC: It’s a common enough phenomenon amongst large predators in today’s natural world that that was honestly the first thing that popped into my head once Klayton mentioned the probable decline to Sorna’s ecosystem. Sad, but a fact of life nonetheless :(
DJ118USMC Possible, but perhaps he turned the tables on them, or ran off or something. I would see it as like a 16 year old fighting off a pair who’s likely in their 60-70’s. By that time, it’d be far closer to its prime then its parents and more likely than not capable of taking on at least one of them at a time. Or maybe they’d keep together to hunt more effectively, or maybe split up to spread as thin as their prey, or maybe I’m overthinking this and completely wrong. That seems rather likely.
Hm, well at some point the infant rex would’ve separated from its parents; whether the mass extraction of several other dinos happened before or after that separation might have been significant. As close as the rex family was, if their ecosystem was thrown into chaos because of the mass extraction and food became very hard to acquire, it’s safe to assume the adults would’ve behaved like any other large predator we know. They’d be desperate and would go after other animals they normally wouldn’t (either because they weren’t worth the energy or because the chance for injury was much higher), and if the infant rex was still dependent on its parents it’s possible they would’ve resorted to cannibalism and eaten the infant. Heck, if the “crisis” happened after the young rex had struck out on its own, its parents might have been even more willing to kill and eat it, since their separation would likely have severed any remaining familial bonds. Two seasoned (starving) adults against a lone, inexperienced juvenile? Parental instincts, or whatever’s left, would definitely not have held the buck and doe back. Of course, these theories don’t take into account the possibility that the rex in JP3 was the Lost World infant, which, if true, would still leave the whereabouts of the two adults up in the air. Tbh I’m not sure what I actually believe. The JP3 theory would be fairly easy to accept (apart from the nature of that bizarrely one-sided fight), but it feels lacking, and not just because the fates of the mated pair would be unknown. Thoughts anyone? :)
It coulve go either way in all honesty. Sorna was never really intended to support the animals for this long anyways :( But I believe there is some evidence of Rexes hunting in packs. Or at least a few theories
I think the baby rex is still alive, since we know trex can live for 20 -30 years since junior as the baby rex called was born in 1997 he still young, and it would mean he was not killed by the spinosaurs in Jurassic park 3 since he still a baby.

It would break my heart to hear they died from lack of food and I would be unbelievably enraged if the Spinosaurus got them.
not even the spinosaurus could defeat both trex parents at the same time.
I hope that spinosaurus is dead. I hope it died the most brutal death possible.
UMM NO Spinos was worse, remember he was a hybrid and made to destroy anything in its path... a failed experiment.
That's actually a very well thought-out and realistic theory. Well done! I support you!
That’s the most realistic jp theory ever!
@@WhyTho525
Would making Tyrannosaurus really be that expensive?
@@analogicaleuphimism2078
Or maybe they were waiting for Rexy to kick the bucket and replace her with a new and younger one taken from Sorna.
What about poor spino :(
@@BigOlGojifan
Carnivores include the Spinosaurus too, so maybe fed the Spinosaurus.

Also judging by how one of the raptor headsculpts resemble the JP3 female Velociraptor, I think BioSyn or some poachers are kidnapping Isla Sorna dinosaurs and sell them off in Malta and other parts of the world.
And since Jurassic World: Dominion is gonna be the Endgame of the Jurassic Park Franchise, so I can definitley see the TLW Tyrannosaur Family make a return, with Buck and Doe being grandparents.
I think the infant was the T-Rex that got killed by the spino. it didnt look that big but dont know so

I wish we would of gotten a mini series to explain everything in between the movies. You know. The parts of the book that they didn't get to do. Muldoon death in the movie was because the actor was ill and had short time. If he was still around, we probably would of gotten another movie before lost world. In my opinion.
Same here
I believe that there’s a great chance that The Lost World Rex family at least the two adults are thriving on Sorna. Take Rexy for example she was able to thrive just fine with a very limited amount of herbivores to eat for a # of years. I think that we have to see them soon on screen. I would personally love it more so than even Rexy.

I do believe the Sorna dinosaurs are still alive unless they got captured & auctioned.
Would be nice to see T-Rex Family again. ❤
I have a hunch that someone was flying over head dropping food down to them. Who would let millions of dollars just waste away? What about the Rival company ever sneaking aboard after JP game and maybe stealing them that way too and somewhere else there are some alive.
Or maybe Masrani Corp actually didn't take all the herbivores from Sorna. So the carnivores on Sorna could have proper food.
@William Patterson
That actually might be the case for Dominion's plot.

After five years, this questions been answered
I think Spino either swam somewhere else, or they didn't find him.
Undim hopefully...
Undim Spinosaurus has long been on that Island and now probably is dead because of old age.
They live to be over 100 years old.
Undim Spinosaurus went extinct again, check the DPG’s website... It sucks but I guess they had to do it to ensure rexy became the top character/predator again :(
Remember when Rexy broke through a Skelton in 2015? That was a Spinosaurus skeleton
Yes
For me it's Pretty sad to think spino may never come back to a Jurassic world film
LAZZA MCPE I know I hope they address it in the movie
whats sad is that /// existed in the first place and it tarnished the name of Spinosaurus aegypticus
jenny talia My thoughts exactly.
LAZZA MCPE nah mate when I heard the spino died I was like ding dong the witch is dead and i was dancing about
Realsteelman 99 You know it hasn't been confirmed, right?
The baby is probably the same size as the jp3 t-rex now
Guys I'm not saying anything about the jp3 t-rex I'm saying that the baby from the lost world is the same size the jp3 t-rex was the jp3 t-rex is dead get the fact straight
Zulhazreen Hazreen It could even be the size of his father.I hope he is has a happy life with a happy family.
Zyhir Harris no because the baby was the jp 3 t.rex.
The PASHA Of Gaming it has the same color but in jp2 you cant realy see the color of the baby. Because it's dark everytime when the baby is on screen.
Because they used the same animatronic Bull from TLW for the male in JP3. Hell, for all we know all male rexes are the color.

I guess we can have new theories about the T-Rex family after Dominion because... SPOILERS AHEAD:
Rexy meets two other Tyranossaurus, and I believe they could be the two adults from Sorna (and it would mean the infant one was indeed the one who got killed by the Spinossaurus. His handicap would even explain why he was so easily defeated)
they are, Collin confirmed it
I believe the baby was taken to Jurassic World. If you look closely at Jurassic World’s visitor center there’s a panel for a very specific green buck with the exact same model as the lost world.
I’m surprised that we’re getting so many answers recently to the franchise. Loving the context as always.
Buck & Doe were shipped to Biosyn Sanctuary, same with Rexy and they met at the end of Jurassic World Dominion.
However, Junior (the child of buck & doe)
is likely in Biosyn Sanctuary, however that’s unknown and it could’ve remained on Sorna.
Another great video from you, Klayton. :)
Who thinks Rexy and Blue will make it to the 6th film installment? "Hey, carter let me hear from ya"😂😂
lol its possible!
I think blue well die after the indorapter fight and another rapter that looks like blue well take oveft
Kiryu The Dragon Warrior or maybe Blue will give birth. She has monitor lizard dna in her and monitor lizards can asexually reproduce. So maybe she will lay an egg or two. But I would think just one.
I think rexy is gonna die tyrannosaurs live 20-30 years and rexy is already 29
Alex Cortes no t.rex age is unknown even the oldest individuals seem to have died from different things then old age.

I freaking love this channel! :)
How big are islands? Certain animals require a certain amount of space to live, so being such massive animals I would say nature would take it's course. Evolution eventually would of make them smaller.
Honestly hard to tell...they are nearly 100 miles wide I believe with Sorna being far bigger
and the evolution you're talking about would taken millions of years, to shrink a dinosaur.

Klayton Fioriti Is there going to be some sort of movie tie in novelization? I miss those!
Raptorus77 5 rexes? A sick Trike that Rexy ate? Compys sneaking into Isla Nublar? Infant and juvenile raptor corpses?
You should make a video on if Rexy would have grown a natural fear of humans or atleast the need to protect them, seeing as they have captured her atleast 3 times and she spent the first 5 years of her life with them. Because like most animals, once they've seen what humans are capable of they usually grow a fear. This is common behavior in Orcas and was even brought up in the Lost World with the Compys
Interesting idea...I'm not too sure how she feels about humans to be honest...its a good topic to research someday :)

Back from the future to confirm they were in dominion
On the Jurassic Park Wiki it says that the Spinosaur killed a T-Rex named Bull.
Buck & Doe were the parents of Junior who is the child T-Rex in the Lost World.
Rexy is the T-Rex on Nublar.
It's a shame some of the Dino's from JP3 are as good as dead. The original Spinosaur is almost certainly dead without so much as a mention in the movie. Not to mention the Ceratosaurus...
Sucks because the Spino is my favorite predator out of all the movies and that's the one that gets killed in between movies.

Fantastic video Klayton. Just brilliant-Verlando
It could very well have happened haha. But I hope not :(
I actually really wanted to know this! Thanks klayton!

Haha that's a pic of my ACU team from my fan film lol
Honestly, I think very few dinosaurs remain on Site B, if any. However, if there are still dinosaurs that live on the island it will be the smaller animals like the Compsognathus, Velociraptors, Gallimimus, & Pachycephalosaurus. I think that the larger predators would run out of viable food sources and eventually starve. Or at the very least food sources that require more energy to capture then they give. The smaller dinosaurs could survive on the native wildlife like the small mammals, lizards, and maybe even birds (avian dinosaurs - lol).
Very true, if a little disappointing to all of us that became invested in that rex family :)
DJ118USMC The Spinosaurus could still survived because he could hunt and eat large fish in river
loving your content, binge watching your videos and love the way you discuss your topics. keep it up!
Hey thanks! :D
I’m sure that the Tyrannosaurs family is still alive is just that they live separated from one island to another.
Can't believe we get so much content, and such high quality and content
Sorna was never really intended to support the animals for this long anyways :(
But I believe there is some evidence of Rexes hunting in packs. Or at least a few theories
Great video as always!
Spino killed the baby one in JP3 that had obviously grown since TLW
It didnt
I found your vids not long ago and now I can't stop watching them
"Their lives are in our hands and we have Butterfingers"
Great video, love your channel. I feel like the rex family might have died off from a lack of food but they still could be alive and well.
That was really fast think you so much 😍😍
#soundslikeasexualjoke
This video was so good, I couldn't help myself but just watch again!!!
I hope they go to Sorna in JWFK
Kian O' Neo They will as we saw in the trailer.
XIX The 65th nope the trailer had no sorna and neither will jw3 as it's about the dinos roaming free on the mainland
Well...they didn't
Big fan of your videos. Thank you for doing these.
I hope they appear in the new movie
You know you're a bonafide Jurassic Park enthusiast when you're worried about a T-Rex family from twenty years ago.
This is 2022 and the spino is still alive and well with mantahcorp
The spino didn’t die and is on an island which is proven in camp Cretaceous Season 4 and 5 and it’s a pretty big character in the seasons
I’d love a tv show about the recapture of the dinos on sorna being taken to nublar! We’d get to see the Rex family and maybe the spino again!
It’s a sad fate but I always figured Isla Sorna couldn’t provide for the dinosaurs forever. I do hope they’re alright
"Extinction was inevitable" as Malcolm would've said it in the Novel
Once again, outstanding video! Videos like these make me more sympathetic to the dinosaurs left alone...
Great and interesting vid. What do you think of JWE's latest species profile- the Chasmosaurus?
I love it! I may be able to talk about JWE in the future soon :)
Yay :)
As always, great video man!
Imagine they bring the 3 rexes back in JW3
With introducing the now grown-up infant Rex's mate and kids
They did indeed bring them back in JW3, you totally called it.
This is awesome really help me clear that idea up love your channel and content bro. Keep it up!!!
I think the baby rex is still alive, since we know trex can live for 20 -30 years since junior as the baby rex called was born in 1997 he still young, and it would mean he was not killed by the spinosaurs in Jurassic park 3 since he still a baby.
Dam if the rex can live 20 30 years meaning rexy is gone die zo

Remember what Zia said in Fallen Kingdom, the lifespans of InGen's Dinosaurs is nearly impossible to predict. Also Holocene Earth's climate is much cleaner compared to Late Cretaceous Earth's climate so that could also help the cloned Tyrannosaurs in surviving for so long. According to Jurassic World Evolution which is stated to be Semi-Canon, InGen Tyrannosaurs live for 66 years. So Rexy might live for longer, and if she could, so could the Buck and Doe Tyrannosaurs from Sorna.
