I read this manga. The story is still going on. And ... I was sobbing. There were people around me, so I tried to keep it to a minimum, but my voice came out. This story touched me in everything and I couldn't help but want to hug Kotaro. Pain,Pain,Pain!!!!!!
i thought it was going to be the "you have to be strong to admit your weakness" message not the "i say when i feel sick to not get others sick" i mean theyre both equally good messages, but the strength bit made me think of the first one more than the second
Plus, the message from Kei sounds more natural and normal since he is just a normal child. If anything, it would be Kotaro who would say such amazing words

I was shocked to see 4 months had passed, it's felt like maybe a month. But I think I'm a little bit better. I'm beginning to build lifelong values around what had happened. I decided even more than already, that I *have* to be the best I can be, so that other people can see it's possible. I realized that if I can't forgive her for what she did, and still love her, then all the times I claimed I love her would be as true as her claims to me. So I've forgiven her, and I do still love her, but it's not the same as it was before. Before, she was on a pedestal, and I wanted to do whatever I could to spare her from as much pain as possible. But now, I want to hold her accountable. I want her to hurt, not maliciously, just be aware of the consequences of her own actions, see what she's lost, and what she gave it all up for, and I want her to feel the pain she's caused me, *only* so she can learn and be a better person herself. I wish she would learn from my own mistakes with her, from my pain, and avoid it all entirely, but I don't think she's capable. So I'm holding her accountable. Because I still love her. And I know we'll never have the chance to try for an actual relationship, because she's not gonna try to change, and I can't trust her the way she is right now, but I'm still gonna be there for her, because she needs that example of real love and forgiveness. I'm not an idiot, anymore, and I'm not a doormat. But I'm not going to give her another reason to think all she's worth is the scum she chooses over people who actually love her. So yeah, I'm still hurting. I think I will be for a very long time. But the pain has made me a much better person, and I hope that I'll be able to inspire others with it one day. If I can inspire people to try, in spite of what they've gone through, then all the pain I've dealt with will have been worth it.
