wow! How is it these two are not everywhere famous?!? Gems of musicianship, skill, emotional content, subtle passion, and other forms of expression only music can provide.
Probably 2 of the most underrated musicians of all time, both brilliant, their studio version of Little Wing / Castles Made of Sand still gives me goose bumps, you have to have major chops to even try to cover Hendrix, these guys absolutely nail it.
As a guitarist, although egregiously underrated, Tuck uses his talent to become a real mood shifter. As a singer, Patti has consistently been quietly amazing for years now. As a duo, these two are beyond compare. Bravo!
Yes, you're right, He adores her, that's what he does! What is the greater art, playing the guitar on this high level or loving Patty after years and years the same way? I Can't say! And me, as a girl, would give my right eye to find someone who looks at me that way...
I saw these guys at the Bottom Line in New York @ 1990 with and old girlfriend who hipped me to them. I was crying it was so beautiful and I say that without being a bit ashamed. Otherworldly.
First heard them back in the Seventies. Superb guitar playing with superb, jazz-inflected singing - what's not to like? Where most guitaris sidestep the harpsichord solo here, Tuck sinks his musical teeth into it.
This is the best rendition ever. Simple, heartfelt and above all, sincere. Good melody, good lyrics, good artists. Nothing else can quite capture the meaning and emotions of love as well as this.
They played at a church a mile up the road from me about 2 years ago on a Sunday afternoon. I paid $25 walked in and heard one of the greatest guitarists in the world. Patti had a cold that day and had to hold back her voice, but tuck played a lot.
They make you feel their passion for music ... It's so dangerous to cover the Beatles but they improve the song, take it away from the pop-song-world. Great.
Thanx a bunch for sharing. I ve been looking for these guys for years and unfortunately they are not popular around here. I remember i heard them in some jazz radio and they never gave their names. He´s a sensei -master guitar player and she's pure silk. Greetings from Buin, Chile.
I love this couple. Tuck Andress is a magician with his guitar. Watch him watch HER, so that he can follow her on the path she takes on a song. Check out Heaven Down Here for a full arm-hair salute of a song. They made me cry in public with that one...kind of embarrassing moment in a small venue...met them after. They are beautiful people.
Some music and artists transcend, and for that moment when a note rings in the hall . In that moment something magical like the mist of life becomes evident to us all.
In my life.....I LOVE YOU MORE!!!!! LOVE FROM HOLLAND FROM ANOTHER PATTY XXX I LOVE YOU BOUGHT!! YOUR SO WONDERFUL!!! Please come back to Holland once more xxx
I love them too. Have seen a whole concert with them in The New Morning back in the late 90's. Yes, they were quite original and highly underrated during the years back. They really complememt each other's performances. I wonder where they have gone off to..
This song is very hard for me to listen to because it's personal meaning to me cuts so deep. Deeper than any other song has ever done. The Judy Collins version is like that for me, and this one was, too.

This is my favorite cover of this song
Same. The song just works so well stripped down like this,

I agree with Mr. Lin Ross. I have been a fan of theirs since the early 90's. They create beautiful music together.
Jonathan Dixxon Indeed, my Brotha. Good music provides a LASTING beauty!
Her voice is like a liquid silk. Loved them from the moment I first heard them.
What a beautiful, tender performance.

WEry hard to go wrong with such a good song, no one quite made them .like Fab Four, and here ,two very skilled musicians ,do a fine job.
I can never listen to them without tears in my eyes...
Oh, oh, your tears!
Because you(vhna well) are so really really beautiful person.
Tuck is one of the best guitar players ever. This version is amazing: the tingles-up-and-down-your-spine kind.
The world need more positive messages right now. Beautiful.
Wonderful rendition of the oldie

I love how Patti sings and Tuck an excellent guitarist.

They’re ageless.
That is an incredible performance!
Makes you believe in humanity again.

I wish I could catch them in concert somewhere. I've been a fan since 1988
🎼what an intense version of this beautyful piece of Beatles' music❤️
