This guy's been doing this for over 40 years, before the polyphias, the Vai's and still kicks ass doing it, so show some fkn respect!!!
I swear he's probably the top "classical guitar" player in popular music. His picking and fretting are so intertwined, and it's so expressive. And how he uses the bottom tones to hold the melody, while adding the harmony of the top strings. Brilliant 🎉🎉🎉
I've known T&P for over 40 years. They are the real deal. Such wonderful people.
Long live Maestro Tuck! Still untouchable on that guitar. Congratulations to you both on your anniversary.
Andress is an original genius - what he extracts from that ancient Gibson is beautiful and extraordinary.
I took a few bass lessons from Tuck in 1980 maybe. I remember when they got married. Yeah Tuck and Patti used to perform at the Varsity Theater in my prestigious hometown. A lot of people dont know that about me 😮
A uniquely personal voice on the guitar. So clearly his soul pours through!
Like Fine wine!!! 😍❤👍👍👍🎼🎵🎶🎸🎤🎶🎵🎼
I saw them way back when at the Center Stage Theatre in Atl. Amazing duo, as we all know. Haven't thought about that for a long time, till this came up in my feed. Thank you, Tuck and Patti, for the wonderful vibes and amazing music, and thank you RUclips for the reminder.
love, love, love!
Love these people!♥
Saw them live in the 80s, Iron Horse Northampton MA. Glad they are still doing great music
Sculler's Jazz Club Boston MA 96'. Great Show and met them afterwards, they were so nice.
Maravilhosos!!! Congratulations for both!!
LEGENDARY!!! Before Polyphia & Mancuso (Taking NOTHING from their phenomenal talent by No Means) Tuck set every guitarist on his/her ear 👂. Congratulations to Tuck & Patti.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I've not seen these folks since somewhere about 47 years ago at a jazz festival in Gresham, Oregon.
Use to see them play at the Varsity theatre in Palo Alto. Tremendous
Fun fact; they are aunt/uncle to musician Annie Clark, AKA St. Vincent.
Carlos would be proud!
Greta, musician, ihave the Honor tomeet.he have the talent greatest as the armonizzer Tommy emanuel.thank 😊
Wow , very strange but always love win.

Patti , 49 years ago you were at my wife’s bachelorette party. You were playing with Danny Gross back then. We have been following you since then. Gus and Deb 😎
That nervous vibrato tho…. But man. All that other stuff if fantastic
Matteo Mancuso!!!
awesome, outstanding, magic - but what did he do to this poor L5???
Played it for about 50 years, that’s what!
@@michaelfoxbrassHe has Bartolini pickups instead of Gibson humbuckers.
O
Former great stars of company WINDHAM HILL destroyed by its founder WILLIAM ACKERMANN, A GREAT SHAME!
He is great; nephew to Joe Pass.
And uncle of St. Vincent!
Mmmmeeh,,,, Just me, but he's just trying to be a little too snazzy for my taste. Trying too hard I guess. 😏
Uy no, que hizo con tan hermoso tema de Santana; no es un arreglo, es un daño total.😢😢
Sadly very messy performance and sloppy execution. It pains to see and hear.
I prefer his playing on "Reckless Precision."
He played music, entertained an audience…mission accomplished. Music is about communication and emotion not perfection.
@@Dnell-tb1yd I did not mention perfection, but mostly agree with you. He is not playing it well. When the physical execution is lacking in clarity it diminishes and disturbs the expression and communication.
@@Dnell-tb1yd
Nobody wants to hear bad playing. That is what we are hearing. Very bad at times
Where is your video?
Pretty sloppy if you ask me. He’s lost it.
That's what I noticed. Is he playing something above his level, or did he just stop practicing ?
It’s his style… his way of playing… and it is magic!! Respect him! He’s a Jazz Genius!!!
@@hercules2743And since when expressing an opinion in the comment section is disrespectful?
Ok, so if he's sloppy, he still plays 99.99% better than most guitarist and incredible phrases of notes and tone and have you considered his age and maybe some arthritis in his hands 👐 or are we talking just because you can like me or can I honestly say your opinion sucks , sorry nothing personal but for me it is EL SICARIO
Yea right, nobody asked you. And it’s obvious you have no idea who he is. I mean, you’re joking, right?
Too many, way too many mistakes. Kind of sad. He may have been good once. Not a professional performance.
What are you talking about? Can you even play a fraction? Put or shut up!
.
Could you point out what exactly was a mistake in this performance?
The joe biden of geetarists?
