Though I will never get here to experience the warmth of the people, the unique ways they alter their bodies, lips, the elaborate hair braiding, through you I can see all from the comfort of my home. @Drew where is your warning about the tour guide???. I saw you promised to post a warning about him undervthe harrasssed female traveler video as a comment.
After the colonial era. The fact a European man can be accepted so widely and treated with respect and love is testament to my peoples beautiful souls. When we go to their land sadly the feeling is not mutual. Shouldn’t we be the ones with hate in hearts? Given the robbery of our land and children’s future. The thing is we don’t know how to.. Love is all we know. The majority of Africa’s 1.5 billion population is filled with kind and humble souls. Having the little we do and being happier then 80% of the western world.
I’m extremely intrigued to go visit Ethiopia. I love the idea of going off the beaten path, I’m Jewish and relate to the Jewish people there, I love history and culture, and I’m so fascinated by the whole valley. I need to go 🍊🍊🍊
@@babiyassefa669What you talking about? Less than 1% of Ethiopians are Jews. If you want to look at distinct cultures here, visit the ethnic Somalis, Afars, Hararis, Oromo and some others.
From Hyena Man to the fascinating tribe rituals, I realized it's a place where rituals are so unique, they make your morning coffee routine seem like an amateur hour. As someone who already visited Easter Island for our TV show before, Ethiopa is indeed a bucket list I would personally wish for!
I'm African myself (Kenyan) but some of those so-called cultural practices are downright archaic and barbaric like that lip-stretching or whatever it is.
There is nothing worse barbaric than the Rwanda, Darfur, Ethiopia genocide and many other parts of Africa that happened millions of innocent civilians killed.
I understand your concerns about their cultural norms in the 21st century. We have those same concerns here in the "great & mighty USA".🙄 Here, instead of whips, they outlawed that practice after the period of forced & free labor known as "slavery", now the former slave owners have resorted to guns, to shoot & kill at will. The "practices" are still the same: control and/or kill.🙄
Great African culture experience. As an African myself am deeply touch to see you all the way to those remote places to give us the contents that we only once heard of. Good Job
This one was intense!! Very cool that you got right in the middle of the bull jumping ceremony. It’s always so awesome to be pulled into someone else’s lifestyle for 20 minutes.
I just left Omo Valley and experienced the tribes. I also got to witness the bull jumping ceremony. Love these parts of the world 🇪🇹 I also had the same local guide at the market, small world. I spent a lot of money tipping locals.
@ilovejewelyn... I am glad you had a great time. I am SURE though you did NOT spend that much money 😒 🙄 money " tipping locals, " for the EMOTIONAL PRICE you GAINED from exploring these beautiful ancient places and getting the Tribal people to spend TIME and love ❤with you and introduce you to their culture ❤️. ● Let's NOT be Westernize by even mentioning " I spent a lot of money tipping the locals. " ... This goes for the VIDEO 📹 and YOU TUBER TOO... please STOP... YOU MAKE MILLIONS $$$ of dollars 💸 💵 💲 🤑 💰 on you tube FROM intruding/ visiting OTHER poor people 's culture . ● I have been to Ethiopia FIVE TIMES... and NEVER TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH I TIPPED THE LOCALS ... ■ Very EUROCENTRIX ideology of self righteousness... ONE BIRR... us NOT even the equivalent of 25 US. CENT . ■ The experiences these locals provide to tourists... CANNOT be BOUGHT OR SOLD... * It Is ONLY so " Authentic " in Ethiopia 🇪🇹 because they have NEVER BEEN COLONIZED.... and fought colonialism... because of this SAME ●NEGATIVE MENTALITY ● thinking 🤔 🙄
Only just started watching but it doesn't matter who or where you are in the world today but music, singing and dancing are the same. It lifts people's spirits and moods, brings smiles and love for each other of course it can also create sad feelings amongst each other.

Lovely tribe! I like how all the traditions are without modern tools and technology.
I’m extremely intrigued to go visit Ethiopia. I love the idea of going off the beaten path, I’m Jewish and relate to the Jewish people there, I love history and culture, and I’m so fascinated by the whole valley. I need to go 🍊🍊🍊
amazing ! Thanks for being here with me!!
Hey I am from Ethiopia come and visit ethiopia 😊
Ye according to scripture mostly Ethiopians are Jewish heritage
@@babiyassefa669What you talking about? Less than 1% of Ethiopians are Jews. If you want to look at distinct cultures here, visit the ethnic Somalis, Afars, Hararis, Oromo and some others.
@@babiyassefa669yes the original biblical Hebrews not the converted ashkenazim jews
OMG i have been waiting for a new video, i am so excited
From Hyena Man to the fascinating tribe rituals, I realized it's a place where rituals are so unique, they make your morning coffee routine seem like an amateur hour. As someone who already visited Easter Island for our TV show before, Ethiopa is indeed a bucket list I would personally wish for!
this is honestly really interesting to watch especially for someone who isnt that much educated on the topics of african tribes, nice video!
Great video Drew. Nuff luv from 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
GO AWAY YOU AINT AFRICAN WHEN JAMAICANS DONT EVEN LIKE AFRICANS GO AWAY!!!
You and Deanna embrace every single culture- I very much appreciate that. Huge respect from Pakistan :)
keep up the great work drew, love watching these videos
WOW - im truly lost for words. Really appreciate you bringing this fascinating culture to my eyes !! 💜👏🏽
I'm African myself (Kenyan) but some of those so-called cultural practices are downright archaic and barbaric like that lip-stretching or whatever it is.
There is nothing worse barbaric than the Rwanda, Darfur, Ethiopia genocide and many other parts of Africa that happened millions of innocent civilians killed.
i feel really bad for the girls, well the ones that do not wish to participate in that
@@nai1729Was a poll taken to determine which & how many girls didn't want to participate?
I understand your concerns about their cultural norms in the 21st century. We have those same concerns here in the "great & mighty USA".🙄 Here, instead of whips, they outlawed that practice after the period of forced & free labor known as "slavery", now the former slave owners have resorted to guns, to shoot & kill at will. The "practices" are still the same: control and/or kill.🙄
@@sash4540 is bro stupid?
What an incredible story. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Lot’s of love from Switzerland ❤❤❤❤
I can’t wait to visit Africa 😊 have you ever been to Mali?
drew has been to every country in the world
Wow!!! Drew this is breathtaking. That boy saying Hello Hello Hello really got me. Well done 😍😍
Some people might think it weird but it actually cool 😎 how they live !
Great African culture experience. As an African myself am deeply touch to see you all the way to those remote places to give us the contents that we only once heard of. Good Job
Dude stop, if you were actually from a country in Africa you wouldn’t have called yourself African, what country are you from?
Fantastic !
Only just started watching but it doesn't matter who or where you are in the world today but music, singing and dancing are the same. It lifts people's spirits and moods, brings smiles and love for each other of course it can also create sad feelings amongst each other.
yep!
Thanks, you two!
