That’s just a picture of a pyro gauge, because most people won’t recognize the edge performance programmer as having a pyro gauge on it. Pretty sure in the video I say that. But the install of the sensor is the same.
Nope pretty sure I say in the video to use a magnet to fish that crap out. If you had actually watched the video instead of being a "keyboard warrior" that knows everything you would have known it was said.
You can put a bunch of grease on your drill or tap and it should capture most of the cuttings. You might want to clean it off and put more grease on there multiple times during cutting.
Monitors your exhaust gas temperatures, it is good practice to have one on a diesel while towing. As damage can occur to your engine if EGTs get too high for too long.
Hope this video helps out! Let me know if you have any questions.
Massively high failure rate on that exact Pyro gauge. Is it still working right?

Unless you were talking about the Edge Pryo and in that case, yes it still works after a full 1 1/2 years on the road.
Cover your tap with grease in stead of WD40 and it will capture most of the metal shards from cutting the threads.
That is one way to skin a cat.
Thank you for the nice how to on this. I'm itching to install this on my 6.leaker.

@@grumpysdiy i have an 02 with the 7.3, just tow my truckcamper with it. Not a fuel efficient rig.
@@Thelifeofwiley You could squeeze some more performance and MPGs out of it with a programmer.
