The fact that it's a robot with an ability to sense pain and arrogance is something we should be concerned about🤔.....
It's more of a marketing gimmick. Real AI is really far from these things. We can't even make our AI judge images properly. The reason why autonomous vehicles are struggling. Because they fundamentally use Image vision (detection objects and processing that like humans do).
Any true academician will tell you that. It pisses me how some elements try to fool common masses.

@@rhurn3605 No one knows everything but as I am in academia doing research in similar fields I atleast understand where we stand in terms of progress. My day job is to collaborate with researchers all around the world, doing literature, writing papers etc.
Our AI is not even comparable to a toddler. People like michio Kaku says that we can reach the intelligence of a bee by 2100. People have different opinion but we are just nowhere to make a robot who can itself answer with "intelligence".
If you do a bit search you would understand that anyone who wants to interview Sofia has to give a list of questions to the team. They will rectify and select a few. They will feed those questions and Sofia will answer those during interview. Sofia at most is just a sophisticated NLP bot, not an "intelligent" robot.

Robotics has a great future in many fields ........ only problem is ...... robots and Automation significantly reduce human job's ...... In my opinion
Let me tell you, This was the same fear people had when Computers were first announced.
Did Computers reduce Human jobs ? No, It only created Hundreds more like Online Shopping, Internet, Server Management, Web Design, Graphics Design etc, Game Development, Online Marketing and Hundreds more. Similarly, Robotics Innovation will open up Thousands of new Fields.
There will be Robot Management, Robot Training, Robot Maintenance, Robot Research, Robot Utilization, Robot Development, Robot Application, Robot Programming, Robot Assistance.. So on.
There will be plenty of time till the "Perfect A.I Robot" which has same capability as a Human will be developed. That day, We will have to worry because A,I can replace Humans. Till then, Nothing to worry. We have a long time to go, Maybe next 70 ~ 100 years for that.
The best A.I today has the brain of a Retarded Cockroach and is only good at one thing like playing chess or beating us in 2D Games. We don't even know if we can create an A.I similar to Human, Its still a Theory.

It's not amazing, it's forced and appeasing, because the saree isn't a national item of clothing in India; I have hardly ever worn one, and neither has my mother. If I went to a conference, I would wear whatever I wanted, not the article of clothing that the majority at that conference or country wore. But she's an "ambassador" of sorts, so she has to pander to nationalist sentiments, unlike me.

You know that Sophia is made from a real person, you know? It was an one to one exatly copy. every person is different and so her, or the real person behind her look. I'm artist myself, but the human body can shaped in so much different ways. so one ear can be lower than tghe other, one eye lead too or one arm shorter than the other. You can't say is any in that way. It's normal. You should know that as "artist" too.
