some thoughts after watching - Amazing, as some one who would love to be a film maker this is very inspiring. i could feel the tension and atmosphere thought the whole short film. the use of sound was amazing and well acted by every one. you should all be very proud & i hope this leads to bigger things. well done Chris and every one involved
That was bloody brilliant. The craft on display here is phenomenal, editing and sound design in particular, establishing that slow, weighty build in tension, the unexpected release of that tension and the broader idea it all conveys about the necessary composure and resilience of these professionals and what they have to deal with in their daily lives. I really hope this gets made into a feature film. Admired you as a youtuber, now routing for you as a filmmaker. Keep it up Chris. (And I trust you'll appreciate the double comment ha)
Alright, I had seen a couple of your movie reviews and didn’t subscribed until earlier today when I watched your review of Sound of Metal starring Riz Ahmed. Then to find out that you made a short film and checked that out, Chris, you got a bright future. That was a phenomenal short. Everyone involved was excellent, even the kids. That was tight editing or perfectly timed with the broken window and the train. The production is off the roof, and I loved the cigarette smoke rising off the grass at the end. That little touch cemented the overall message of the short story.

That was great! It felt incredibly personal, do you have close friends or family that are healthcare workers?
I do, actually :) My wife is a home health nurse (like this lead character) and my dad is a doctor.
It really shines through, they must be really proud :)
