I’m not even into filmmaking (I just love watching/reviewing movies as a hobby) but found this video so encouraging and inspiring. The words that you spoke here are true no matter the profession you are passionate for. Excited to see where your journey takes you next, and congrats for making a feature film!

Absolutely - being present in _your_ journey, whatever that journey is, is so important!
      Thanks for the encouragement!

Being sure of your identity outside of your successes and failures is such a powerful point - You've really "won" life with that attitude!

Sometimes I wonder if I gave up on myself too early, but sometimes I realize I had no talent and was never going to get anywhere.

I’m in a similar boat with a first feature and have been feeling so much cosmic level anxiety about it so I just wanted to say thank you for making this video.
It couldn’t have come at a better time.

Wonderfully wise words, Chris. You really hit on the essential truth; that the enjoyment of the creation process is greater than the endpoint and that your life doesn't start at that endpoint, but its ongoing. That can be scary, especially if you feel like you're missing out and watching it go by without you. This genuinely came out at the right time for me, as I've been in the dumps for a few days.
I hope your film becomes available to view in the UK when the time comes.

Your outlook on the time spent on it and life in general is incredibly inspiring, and I'm gonna come back to this every once in a while. Im so happy this project made it to completion, really hope to be able to see it soon, and hope you get to do it again!

Hey Chris , I’ve been following you since 2016 and interacted since, thanks 🙏 for the all of the inspiring and wise words and assurance. It helps to reflect, acknowledging past flaws and to always remain humble yet hungry. It helps to jump into something new and it helps me to jump into a relationship I’m about to jump into, due to past failures . Thanks

I appreciate the honesty in this video and think your points are very valid and helpful. Though I´m not a filmmaker it encouraged me regarding another area in my life.
The one thing that bothers me is the preview - the thumbnail implies that you are thinking about giving up and that this is also content of this video. You do address some of your struggles in this video but it doesn´t sound to me like you are anywhere close to giving up. To me the thumbnail looks like some kind of clickbait - which doesn´t seem to fit in with the sincere impression I have of you.
Maybe you could use a less dramatic thumbnail (and title) for this otherwise great video.
