I see so often parents in public situations caregivers ignoring their children's pleas for basic attention and caregivers will not put down the tech except to punish them or frankly ignore them. Very sad the childrens faces.

Feeling guilty when setting a boundaries yes, i told my friend nicely she couldn't come over and use my washing machine anymore as she wasnt making it a priority to fix her own. She asked if there was anything else i didn't like. I said yes, paying for ubers when out and going to pick her up often. (She willingly doesn't drive) I knew the risk she might back away from me but to me i had to because i was getting annoyed and did not want to resent her or myself. Luckily she understood.
