Currently own a Redeye and scat pack previously owned a RT and the RT is the sweet spot for building and having it as a daily .

I have a Challenger Scat Pack and would never ever get a redesigned newer charger, Challengers kept their old school looks and alot people always compliment my car & say the same thing about the comparison now if were a '68-'72 Charger I would take one all day long!

I got a 2018 charger rt it’s def a blast for a daily driver I love it however if ur looking to race other cars it’s not a good option but i think it’s enough power in the street to have fun with

Nice video--enjoy it. I bought a new 23 Charger RT Daytona in B5 blue 2 monnths ago. I'm an old retired guy, 62, and I love driving it everyday. It took me almost 7 years to pull the trigger and finally buy this damn thing. It is my first non-boring car. No regrets. A car for all ages. It runs fine on 87 regular and for insurance purposes, it is considered a family sedan--not a sports car. Insurance cost is the same as our Toyota Avalon. Go figure. Another nice thing is the back seat and trunk size--comfy for friends and golf club bags. Enjoy life my friend and don't waste any time.

A Scat and Hellcat just don’t seem covenant enough to be Daily vehicles unless you have a good paying job if not you should factor in Insurance, gas, theft, maintenance and the price of the car itself..

@@VpnTokyo i aint gonna lie the diff cost me around 1,300$ on summit racing and i took it to my dealership to get it swap and labor was like 600$ ill say around 2k with everything

I have a scat challenger. I would say go with the 5.7. It's not worth the cost to maintain a scat or the gas and insurance. I don't regret buying the scat but after the newness and fun wear off, your left with basically a stripper asking for a tip every time you get in the car.

From me having a scat, if they both in the same price point , I’d choose a scat bjt if the 5.7 is cheaper by $10k plus 5.7

If have to worry about the daily maintenance of a scat then yeah it’s not for you. Also getting these boats I mean cars knowing they have big v-8, the price of gas should be the last thing on ya mind. It’s smiles per gallon.

Was thinking of a rt but i ended up buying a scat. Drove both it all depends on wat ur looking for and ur budget if you want to have fun, have a deeper throatier sound and not really have to spend to much on service and insurance while also being able to mod and make good power get the rt. If you want that power already stock and you can afford the extra stuff tht comes with the scat get the scat. As far as gas tbh rts and scats both damn near have the same mpg its all on the drivers foot tbh.
They both come with mds lifters so really the maintenance on the rts and scats are the same only difference is scats got brembos

For starters, A man have no business owning a scat if you can’t do your own oil change 😂. That includes brakes! Even if you grew up without a father, RUclips it! 5.7 is for people who like to build their engines. It’s not that expensive to get up to a scat speed. Best part the insurance is cheaper . Well if your not a kid aka under 25.

@@bent1k that I’m not too sure you would have to research it me personally I don’t think it would affect your car. Because 93 doesn’t do anything for the Rt performance wise so it’s useless. So switching back to the recommended shouldn’t hurt it but if your not sure or confident in making that choice I’ll say stay 93

why get a 30k 5.7 just to spend another $10k+ trying to make it as fast as a 6.4 when you literally could have just spend $36k on a used scat and have RAW power and upgraded performance system and parts off the jump , plus built cars are always in the shop due to constant problems because they basically installed high performance parts into a base model car that was NOT made for all that Horse power 😅thats why ppl always selling there built cars after a few years 🚗

Coming from a former rt owner now scat owner I respect the opinion because the rt is fun and sounds fire with the right set up idc what no one says , but I can’t beat the scat feel 😮 between the two but if you can’t afford a scat trust the rt will do it

Same here. I started with an R/T, but upgraded to a Scatpack. 100% worth it if you like Mopar and a Scatpack is in your range.
