Exactly. Same with 787-9 for me given the work adobo has put into it. I could see myself trying out the A340 as kind of a more casual, sort of weird option to switch it up. There’s so much good free content for MSFS that IMO paid work needs to be really incrementally excellent. I’ve actually done some thinking about the pricing dynamics compared to other software verticals and the economics for the devs are tough, so there is a balance. Take Fenix for example, they probably should have focused on A321 more since the A320 released, because even though it’s not really incremental, people would pay and it would need up their resources for V2, which is much more of a lift than porting to an extended or shortened airframe. I wonder why people still give credit to LVFR products. They just use the default A320 interior all over the place with "detailed" outside models and an EFB that's been coded in a few days. Flying their products or the default A320 is no difference... and you also have to pay to fly a default A320 sheesh. LVFR should've sticked to sceneries a long time ago
I can definitely see where you’re coming from CT; for Xbox users, the LVFR products do make some sense but otherwise, I’ve never really understood what all the fuss is about. That’s the main reason this was my first LVFR review - I didn’t really see the “benefit” of the LVFR A320 family (though to each his own, of course!). I think in theory, the A330 has enough to set it apart from the default A320 however, the Headwind A330 seems a more obvious choice for the time being. Cheers, all the best!
Really hoping to see a “study level” a330 get released. I know aerosoft is working on one, but until it gets released, it isnt real. Lol. Looking forward to the pmdg 777 also. Im not a fan of these planes that are pieced together via other aircraft, and only partially functional systems
Hi Jay, A “study level” A330 would indeed be great to see. I think Aerosoft’s A330 will be “middle-of-the-road” (if their previous Airbus offerings are anything to go by) but, certainly more functional than the Headwind / LFVR offerings. Fenix is probably as good as it gets for now and most likely the FSLabs offering will be something special but, that’ll probably come much further down the track. . . Cheers, all the best!
Hi Bernardo, Haha, it was indeed the FlyTampa YSSY scenery (as Ravenn very helpfully points out), if memory serves me correctly. The devs have indeed done a superb job with the airport! I hope that helps. All the best : )
Indeed Bob; I don’t know how those screens were found to be acceptable ahead of release however, I gather that LVFR has since addressed the issue (though I haven’t had a chance to take another look at the addon myself : ) All the best!
Thanks for the great video - any idea why this struggles to get over flight level 280? Even on max power and a small amount of fuel and trim set it does not go over a climb rate of +1 and if you try and increase speed drops way down? Looked through comments for an answer but cannot see one
You’re most welcome, Stwutter! Yes, it seems most people are happy to stick with the Headwind A330 for now. LVFR obviously offer options for those on the console and hopefully, they’ll continue to develop their A330 to a point where it justifies spending the extra money, even for those that have access to the Headwind A330. All the best! : )
Hi Jay, I’d have to go with the Headwind A330; it’s not “superb” either (though of course, I appreciate all of the work that has gone into it) but, it’s free and (currently) basically offers the same level of quality as the LVFR A330. I hope that helps. All the best : )
As a more casual msfs player i have been thinking about getting this one but its a bit on the expensive side for me. I am conflicted though and i love the a330 so i honestly dont know.
Hi GOW, Are you on the PC? If so, perhaps give the Headwind A330 a go first (and see what you think : ) The LVFR A330, is quite expensive for what it currently is. Hopefully, over time, LVFR will bring the addon up to a point where the quality justifies the cost. Cheers, all the best!
It’s certainly a valid point Kevin; it’s very hard to justify purchasing the addon at the moment when, Headwind are offering up the same aircraft (or better) for free. I known that LVFR plans to continue work on the addon so, perhaps that balance will shift at some point, who knows. . . Cheers, all the best!
Thanks very much, MTFlight, I’m really glad you’re enjoying the content! I'm actually using a head-tracking device called "TrackIR" for the camera movements. It's great, although a little pricey. There are cheaper / freeware alternatives available though, should you wish to give it a go for yourself : ) I hope that helps. All the best!
Hi how did you adjust the sensitivity of the joystick to make it rise so smoothly on takeoff. I just can't calibrate it, the nose rises badly, maybe I make a mistake in the cg trim And even the flare seems to get stuck a few meters above the ground
Hi Emanuel, I didn’t adjust my control sensitivities for the flight; as mentioned during the video, the LVFR A330 does unfortunately have a problem with auto-rotating during the takeoff. You’ll basically need to put in forward pressure on your stick during the takeoff roll (which is ‘somewhat’ accurate for the real 330, though overall, the addons behaviour is very wrong) and then gradually ease off that pressure upon reaching Vr. I’m not sure about the flare exactly but, again, I found the aircraft to behave pretty strangely during the approach also. I hope that helps / clarifies things a little. All the best : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations For the moment I don't feel like recommending the purchase to anyone (xbox included), it takes off badly, lands worse and on the ground it doesn't turn. I'm sorry because I had taken a lvfr319 and all in all it was quite fine But this time we're not quite there
That’s very fair criticism, Emanuel. I think LVFR were able to rely pretty heavily on the default A320, for their A320 family, hence why the flight model etc was acceptable. Obviously, the A330 is a more customised project and (as a result) the aircraft definitely has quite a few areas that need improvement. Regarding being able to turn on the ground; have you tried assigning a control axis to the tiller / NWS? I certainly had quite a few issues with the A330 myself but, I don’t recall not being able to turn the aircraft on the ground. . . All the best!
Sure, Paul. I’m afraid I don’t quite understand the point you’re driving at though? For many simmers, the enjoyment comes from trying to operate the aircraft as accurately as possible and that’s the audience that my content is typically catered towards. All the best!
I cant get my vnav working on this : I set everything but there is no blue arrow nor white arrow for TOD : whats wrong? is it the fault of thr aircraft?
Hi F28, I believe I’m correct in saying, there is no meaningful / working VNAV on the LFVR aircraft (I know that’s the case with the A340 and I seem to recall that was also the case with the A330). I don’t think it’s anything that you’re doing wrong. I hope that clarifies things a little. All the best! : j
@@IntotheBlueSimulations thank you. Also another thing. Same for the vertical path : it climbs VEERY SLOWLY then VERY AGGRESSIVELY and it MISSES the level off by 4000FT and it levels off WAYY ABOVE and it doesnt react then MEEGA DIIVE and same thig misses the level off and RE SAME THING until it stalls or crashes into the water. Same for da throttle : it ROCKETS ITSELF and misses the speed hold and IDLE and reacts WAY TO SLOWLY and stalls. This for all the 737 , the A300, 310, and new 320. How can I modify the cfg files to tune the turn rate, the climb response time, the engine resppnse time and all dis stuff? Also now the LVFR A339 has got VNAV for like 1week thx to update. Hi Olek, As OD points out, I think that’s somewhat specific to Qantas (most other carriers seem to have the black mask). Hi Dikshant, You need to align the IRS’ (by setting the 3 rotary selectors on the top-left of the overhead panel, to “NAV”). The process will take several minutes but, once complete, the NAV displays should be working correctly for you : ) I hope that helps. All the best!
i have been having a problem where my avionics are blanck on the msfs planes i only have default planes do you know if that happens with this plane (i play on cloud gaming btw)
Hi Mr Welsh, So, you only use default MSFS aircraft and you’ve been getting blank screens with those? That’s very strange. I’m afraid I’m not really sure what the issue could be there and I’m not familiar enough with the cloud gaming version of MSFS, to know whether that could be causing the problem. Sorry I can’t be of more help on that one. You’ll probably have to get in touch with MSFS support directly. I do hope you manage to get things sorted. All the best!
I believe the A318 is pretty similar, YTS (I can’t confirm 100%, as I haven’t tried it myself). In fact, I think the A318 will probably be “better”, as it makes more use of default A320 assets, which aren’t too bad at this point. If you’re looking for a cheap alternative to the default A320 though, perhaps wait for the iniBuilds A320? That will be free and should be coming to the sim within the next couple of months. I hope that helps a little. All the best : )
Hi Tidi, Thanks very much, I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I don’t use any reshade etc although, I have recently started experimenting with touching up the visuals during editing, including with this video (only for the external shots). The main thing you’re probably noticing; I do spend a lot of time adjusting the time of day and weather in my videos, as both can make a huge difference to how MSFS looks. Outside of that, I add a little bit of vignette to my external shorts and occasionally tweak the contrast a touch also (both of which, could be done with Nvidia filters etc). I hope that helps a little. Cheers and all the best : )
So far as my graphics settings go, I basically just have everything cranked up to Ultra. I do spend a lot of time tweaking the weather and lighting in my videos though, as that can make a huge visual difference within the sim. I also add a little bit of vignette to my external shots and sometimes tweak the contrast, during editing (the same effect could be achieved with the Nvidia game filters, though I don’t use them myself). I hope that helps a little. All the best!
Hi Devn, The video was recorded a few days after the product released. I must have just missed the update that you mention. . . I hope that clarifies things. Cheers, all the best! : )
Hello Aldo, I can’t post a link I’m afraid, as the aircraft is sold through the in-sim Marketplace (I could be wrong but, I don’t believe there are any other vendors available). I hope that helps though? All the best : )
We don't need medium base aircrafts in the sim. Lot of things doesn't work or not simulated and these things just breaking the realism. What we need is study level and there is only one exists right now which is the Fenix. If it's not study level I'm not buying it, not again. I bought this aircraft and the only thing that I can say I've just wasted money on it. I don't understand that why is only one plane is on study level after nearly 4 years of the release. I really hope that the Aerosoft one will be study level. But we miss a lot of plane like the 777, 787, A350, A340, A321, A319, A318 etc. Some of them are on the marketplace but those are just peaces of junk tbh. What the PMDG makes with their planes that is the level of realism what we need. We need more study level aircrafts to represent the real life!
Hi Marci, Personally, I’m not really interested in this level of addon either but, a lot of simmers definitely are. I think the only reason we haven’t seen more study level aircraft to date, is that by their very nature, they take longer to make. We have the Fenix A320, PMDG 737 and Leonardo Maddog to name but a few and I’ve no doubt more will follow (the A300 is on the way, the MD-11 also. PMDG are working on their 777, etc). Personally, I’m happy if everyone can enjoy the sim, “serious” and casual simmers alike (I didn’t think they’d manage it but, Asobo do seem to be walking that line rather well!). The more successful MSFS is, the better it is for all of us : ) I can totally understand why the LFVR A330 may not be for you and I’m sorry that you feel you’ve wasted your money. All the best!
If they can update the aircraft to nearly study level perhaps we got a nice MCDU update in the recent days I think I would give it another chance. Because the exterior model is great and the external lights also great but these things are mean nothing without a high fidelty avionics system. I would really fly with this plane but the systems are not on the expected level. Too much inoperative systems.@@IntotheBlueSimulations
Hi Frap, Genuine question; what’s the difference? I’ve never seen the cockpit of an A330-900 but, I had assumed it was essentially the same as an A330 CEO and as best I can tell from pictures, that pretty much looks to be the case? Again, I’m not trying to be argumentative, I’m genuinely curious. Cheers, all the best! : )
Ah yes, well there you go! I hadn’t seen any pics of the NEO’s overhead, only the main instrument panel. Interesting, that Airbus went back to the “320 layout” for the fire PB’s (makes more sense logically, I guess). Thanks very much for the pointer. LVFR have actually been in touch, so I’ll pass along the info! Cheers and all the best : )
What makes you say that, Kenny? I’m not saying you’re wrong (I’m not sure I could really tell one apart from the other haha), I’m just curious. The 8-abreast seating in economy, looks more 330-esque to me. . . Cheers, all the best! : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations The passenger seat on AIRBUS A330: 2 - 4 - 2 or 3 - 3 - 3 are correct. But the cabin with luggage storage (see the ceiling) is Boeing 777 and not Airbus A330.
No it didn’t, did it, Nick haha. To be “fair” to LVFR, the aircraft flew the SID about as well as I was expecting; whilst not the most complex SID on the planet, the coding is still a little bit above and beyond what I think LVFR are aiming for with the addon (I think the 330 is currently aimed at Xbox users / more casual simmers - with the sort of FMS where you can just about scrape through a VATSIM flight).
There already is one that’s very detailed, even with a fully modeled cabin. Check out the Fenix a320
@@Jay-ol2ib…. Was supposed to say a330. Lol
Yes, I’ve had the Fenix a320 from when I first got into sim. Spent more time in it than anything
I don't think the Aerosoft A330 will be study-level, but it will be highly realistic AFAIK
@@tedm123 …. Maybe not. May just have to stick with the fenix.
Hi Jay,
A “study level” A330 would indeed be great to see.
Jesus christ that Sidney airpoir groud textures looks better than real life! What's the developer?
almost certainly FlyTampa
Hi Bernardo,
Haha, it was indeed the FlyTampa YSSY scenery (as Ravenn very helpfully points out), if memory serves me correctly. The devs have indeed done a superb job with the airport!
I hope that helps. All the best : )
I really hope they remodel that nose section, the cockpit window shape is so off from real life.
Like they're too wide and too slim or something.
Have the stuff in the cockpit didnt work good grief. I didnt even get thru much of it before i had made my decision.
I’m glad the video helped you come to a decision, Marc (even if it didn’t take long haha).
Cheers, all the best!
This isn't bad as a low cost 'basic' A330 addons..... but those screens are a killer. Absolutely unacceptable that they released it with them so dim.
Indeed Bob; I don’t know how those screens were found to be acceptable ahead of release however, I gather that LVFR has since addressed the issue (though I haven’t had a chance to take another look at the addon myself : )
All the best!
Thanks for the great video - any idea why this struggles to get over flight level 280? Even on max power and a small amount of fuel and trim set it does not go over a climb rate of +1 and if you try and increase speed drops way down? Looked through comments for an answer but cannot see one
Cheers. Almost nothing here to make me pay for this and not use the freeware Headwind.
So do you prefer the LVFR or the Headwinds?
Hi Jay,
I’d have to go with the Headwind A330; it’s not “superb” either (though of course, I appreciate all of the work that has gone into it) but, it’s free and (currently) basically offers the same level of quality as the LVFR A330.
I hope that helps. All the best : )
As a more casual msfs player i have been thinking about getting this one but its a bit on the expensive side for me. I am conflicted though and i love the a330 so i honestly dont know.
Hi GOW,
Are you on the PC? If so, perhaps give the Headwind A330 a go first (and see what you think : )
The LVFR A330, is quite expensive for what it currently is. Hopefully, over time, LVFR will bring the addon up to a point where the quality justifies the cost.
Cheers, all the best!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations Thank you. I did check out the headwind a330 and except for the autopilot being annoying it is really great!
Best computer for this game?
Is FS commander Is it transferabele to MSFS2024?
I want to like the headwinds a330 bit sometimes it dosents show correctly thae way points the missing a lot sometimes
They are charging insane money for what a freeware version does better atm
It’s certainly a valid point Kevin; it’s very hard to justify purchasing the addon at the moment when, Headwind are offering up the same aircraft (or better) for free. I known that LVFR plans to continue work on the addon so, perhaps that balance will shift at some point, who knows. . .
Cheers, all the best!
Great videos. Question: how do you move the view inside the cockpit so fluidly? Looks very realistic vs the fixed presets I’m used to. Thanks!
Thanks very much, MTFlight, I’m really glad you’re enjoying the content!
I'm actually using a head-tracking device called "TrackIR" for the camera movements. It's great, although a little pricey. There are cheaper / freeware alternatives available though, should you wish to give it a go for yourself : )
I hope that helps. All the best!
Hi how did you adjust the sensitivity of the joystick to make it rise so smoothly on takeoff.
I just can't calibrate it, the nose rises badly, maybe I make a mistake in the cg trim And even the flare seems to get stuck a few meters above the ground
Hi Emanuel,
I didn’t adjust my control sensitivities for the flight; as mentioned during the video, the LVFR A330 does unfortunately have a problem with auto-rotating during the takeoff.
YES !! True to life Cockpit.. Not an A320 cockpit like the other guys. Win !!!
It's only a game and we Ain't pilots!
Sure, Paul. I’m afraid I don’t quite understand the point you’re driving at though? For many simmers, the enjoyment comes from trying to operate the aircraft as accurately as possible and that’s the audience that my content is typically catered towards.
All the best!
nah I'm sticking with free Fbw a32nx
I cant get my vnav working on this : I set everything but there is no blue arrow nor white arrow for TOD : whats wrong? is it the fault of thr aircraft?
Hi F28,
I believe I’m correct in saying, there is no meaningful / working VNAV on the LFVR aircraft (I know that’s the case with the A340 and I seem to recall that was also the case with the A330). I don’t think it’s anything that you’re doing wrong.
I hope that clarifies things a little. All the best! : j
@@IntotheBlueSimulations thank you. Also another thing. Idk if you have some coding skills and I may look unrealistic but sometimes I cant play MSFS more than idk 30minutes so I do 200nm flights and i do sim rate x8 (yeah, x8) but I love the pmdg 737 and the inibuild A300 and 310, and 320 but the problem is :
Both the 737 and inibuilds when doing a turn they turn AT A VEEEERY SLOW RAATE and they have a SSSSSLOWWWW REEESPONNSE TIIME and they OVERSHOOT the path and it goes in circles and its bad.

What’s up with the black outline around the cockpit windows, I know Airbus do have a black mask, but I don’t think it should look like that without it
Its a qantas thing
Hi Olek,
As OD points out, I think that’s somewhat specific to Qantas (most other carriers seem to have the black mask). I guess it stands to reason, that the windshield framing on the NEO is black, regardless of whether or not the carrier chooses to have the full “mask” painted on.
Cheers, all the best! : )
@@IntotheBlueSimulations thanks sooo much man I never knew! Cheers hope to see more vids soon!

How did you set the view on the wing?
Hi Luca,
From memory, if you go to the “Showcase” cameras (from the in-sim camera menu) and then choose the “Fixed” option, you’ll find a whole host of preset camera views. Those are the ones I used for the video : )
I hope that helps. All the best!
Bro how to on the gps nav screen, it shows red lines there
Hi Dikshant,
You need to align the IRS’ (by setting the 3 rotary selectors on the top-left of the overhead panel, to “NAV”). The process will take several minutes but, once complete, the NAV displays should be working correctly for you : )
I hope that helps. All the best!
i have been having a problem where my avionics are blanck on the msfs planes i only have default planes do you know if that happens with this plane (i play on cloud gaming btw)
Hi Mr Welsh,
So, you only use default MSFS aircraft and you’ve been getting blank screens with those? That’s very strange. I’m afraid I’m not really sure what the issue could be there and I’m not familiar enough with the cloud gaming version of MSFS, to know whether that could be causing the problem.
Sorry I can’t be of more help on that one. You’ll probably have to get in touch with MSFS support directly. I do hope you manage to get things sorted.
All the best!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations Alright that’s fine it only happens sometimes so I can still fly sometimes
Thank you tho
Man, I am planning to buy lfvr a318 , cuz its cheaper, It's similiar to other lfvr aircrafts right?
I believe the A318 is pretty similar, YTS (I can’t confirm 100%, as I haven’t tried it myself). In fact, I think the A318 will probably be “better”, as it makes more use of default A320 assets, which aren’t too bad at this point. If you’re looking for a cheap alternative to the default A320 though, perhaps wait for the iniBuilds A320? That will be free and should be coming to the sim within the next couple of months.
I hope that helps a little. All the best : )
Nice video man, so you use reshade or other graphic mods or Are These Only msfs Settings ?
Hi Tidi,
Thanks very much, I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
@@IntotheBlueSimulations okay Nice, can you please share your NVIDIA Settings ?
And whats your graphic Settings ?
So far as my graphics settings go, I basically just have everything cranked up to Ultra. I do spend a lot of time tweaking the weather and lighting in my videos though, as that can make a huge visual difference within the sim. I also add a little bit of vignette to my external shots and sometimes tweak the contrast, during editing (the same effect could be achieved with the Nvidia game filters, though I don’t use them myself).
I hope that helps a little. All the best!

elevator pitch feels so bad...
Uff, not for me... even the IRS switches are "dead"... no on bat indication.... only that... its enough for me not to ever touch this haha...
Hi Marci,
Personally, I’m not really interested in this level of addon either but, a lot of simmers definitely are.
The more successful MSFS is, the better it is for all of us : )
I can totally understand why the LFVR A330 may not be for you and I’m sorry that you feel you’ve wasted your money.
Fun fact: this is an a330ceo cockpit... What a shame!
Hi Frap,
Genuine question; what’s the difference? I’ve never seen the cockpit of an A330-900 but, I had assumed it was essentially the same as an A330 CEO and as best I can tell from pictures, that pretty much looks to be the case? Again, I’m not trying to be argumentative, I’m genuinely curious.

Ah yes, well there you go! I hadn’t seen any pics of the NEO’s overhead, only the main instrument panel. Interesting, that Airbus went back to the “320 layout” for the fire PB’s (makes more sense logically, I guess).
Thanks very much for the pointer. LVFR have actually been in touch, so I’ll pass along the info!

first
Well it didn’t fly the SID, what happened to 290 to 10 DME, left 260, 7000 DCT ANKUB 🥹
That being said, I know the devs plan to continue working on the product so, hopefully we’ll see improvements in this and a number of areas as they go : )
