    "These past days have been very busy dealing with the very crucial things that have popped up when hundreds of people overnight start using our aircraft. We listened and reacted swiftly to the feedback and worked to send fixes as soon as possible to Microsoft. We have sent a fix, and we are crossing fingers hoping they can release this week.
    We sent to Microsoft the following:
    1- Autothrottle issues above FL400 fixed
    2- Elevator pitch sensitivity fixes
    3- Black screens on XBOX optimization.
    4- lighting fixes
    5- Screens more brighter
    6- Engine sounds fixes
    7- Wingflex animation increases
    8- Other small fixes
    We gonna keep working on the other things in the coming weeks, and eventually the EFB and avionics update will be also done."

    My take on this plane is that it's decent. If you play on PC, I recommend you get the headwinds, but nothing wrong if you get the LVFR. I haven't got intercepted by a lot of bugs, but I know other people have; however, LVFR have said they are ironing them out

    • @IntotheBlueSimulations

      Hi Eddie,
      Yeah, I think that’s a very fair take. I haven’t used the Headwind A330 in a very long time but, people seem to be pretty happy with it these days. The LVFR A330 does have quite a few bugs currently, but I’m sure most will get ironed out and I know that LVFR plan to continue developing the aircraft. Either way, the addon isn’t a bad option for those on the console, for whom the Headwind A330 isn’t an option of course.
      Cheers, all the best! : )

      Understandable, Mark. I suppose in fairness, the Headwind team have had a bit of a head start; it’ll be interesting to see where LVFR take the A330 (I know they plan to develop the aircraft further) but of course, LVFR’s version of the NEO, is going to need to be significantly better than the Headwind version, if they expect people to fork out good money for the addon (on the PC anyway).

      @IntotheBlueSimulations  Год назад +24

      The 330 definitely has a lot of room for improvement. I think I was “holding back”, only in the sense that this sort of addon isn’t really for me (and I was trying to keep that in mind throughout the review). That in itself, doesn’t make it a bad product though; I think the LVFR range, is really aimed at Xbox / casual PC simmers (who don’t have as many options and are probably statistically less interested in the sort of depth we see from Fenix, PMDG etc). In fairness to LVFR, they did reach out after this video, asking which areas I would recommend for improvement, whether I’d like to help them work on the aircraft etc - I think that shows that they’re taking the project seriously (often, a dev will just tell me why I am wrong haha).

    I bought it for PC. Actually, it's not that bad and it stays in the sky. When I fly my long routes from RJOO to KLAX, I can walk away from the computer, monitor my flight an Navigraph and 10 hours later I am planning my descent. The forums advised more updates will follow. They seem to be very responsive. Yes, with tax $37.00, but I spend more on the CRJ which to me it's not buggy in the least, it's just a working plane. I do enjoy supporting developers. Without them we would be stuck with Asobo free-ware craft. I also have the Headwinds, its wonderful but missing the actual cockpit. The LVFR at least has a cockpit that models the real thing and one heck of an amazing cabin to boot. It was a treat to see the light reflect off the wings at night.

    Good video as always.
    It's not at all clear to me why I would want to pay for this plane when I already have the perfectly serviceable Headwinds A330 for free. The dim screens seem inexcusable. I would think that, at the very least, a beta tester would have said something.

    • @rennyzucker9120
      @rennyzucker9120 Год назад +1

      Exactly. Same with 787-9 for me given the work adobo has put into it. I could see myself trying out the A340 as kind of a more casual, sort of weird option to switch it up. There’s so much good free content for MSFS that IMO paid work needs to be really incrementally excellent. I’ve actually done some thinking about the pricing dynamics compared to other software verticals and the economics for the devs are tough, so there is a balance. Take Fenix for example, they probably should have focused on A321 more since the A320 released, because even though it’s not really incremental, people would pay and it would need up their resources for V2, which is much more of a lift than porting to an extended or shortened airframe. Something between art and business, but I think it’s good long term that there is a real economy created by MSFS and related products.

      If say if you have the Headwinds A330, keep using that plane, but since Xbox doesn't have it (and I don't think it's coming to the marketplace anytime soon), this plane will have to do. I wonder why people still give credit to LVFR products. They just use the default A320 interior all over the place with "detailed" outside models and an EFB that's been coded in a few days. Flying their products or the default A320 is no difference... and you also have to pay to fly a default A320 sheesh. LVFR should've sticked to sceneries a long time ago

    • @IntotheBlueSimulations
      @IntotheBlueSimulations  Год назад

      I can definitely see where you’re coming from CT; for Xbox users, the LVFR products do make some sense but otherwise, I’ve never really understood what all the fuss is about. That’s the main reason this was my first LVFR review - I didn’t really see the “benefit” of the LVFR A320 family (though to each his own, of course!). I think in theory, the A330 has enough to set it apart from the default A320 however, the Headwind A330 seems a more obvious choice for the time being.

    • @IntotheBlueSimulations
      @IntotheBlueSimulations  10 месяцев назад

      Hi Emanuel,
      I didn’t adjust my control sensitivities for the flight; as mentioned during the video, the LVFR A330 does unfortunately have a problem with auto-rotating during the takeoff. You’ll basically need to put in forward pressure on your stick during the takeoff roll (which is ‘somewhat’ accurate for the real 330, though overall, the addons behaviour is very wrong) and then gradually ease off that pressure upon reaching Vr. I’m not sure about the flare exactly but, again, I found the aircraft to behave pretty strangely during the approach also.
      I hope that helps / clarifies things a little. All the best : )

      Hi Dikshant,
      You need to align the IRS’ (by setting the 3 rotary selectors on the top-left of the overhead panel, to “NAV”). The process will take several minutes but, once complete, the NAV displays should be working correctly for you : )
      I hope that helps. All the best!

      Hi Mr Welsh,
      So, you only use default MSFS aircraft and you’ve been getting blank screens with those? That’s very strange. I’m afraid I’m not really sure what the issue could be there and I’m not familiar enough with the cloud gaming version of MSFS, to know whether that could be causing the problem.
      Sorry I can’t be of more help on that one. You’ll probably have to get in touch with MSFS support directly. I do hope you manage to get things sorted.
      All the best!

    • @IntotheBlueSimulations
      @IntotheBlueSimulations  9 месяцев назад

      I believe the A318 is pretty similar, YTS (I can’t confirm 100%, as I haven’t tried it myself). In fact, I think the A318 will probably be “better”, as it makes more use of default A320 assets, which aren’t too bad at this point. If you’re looking for a cheap alternative to the default A320 though, perhaps wait for the iniBuilds A320? That will be free and should be coming to the sim within the next couple of months.
      I hope that helps a little. All the best : )

      Hi Tidi,
      Thanks very much, I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
      I don’t use any reshade etc although, I have recently started experimenting with touching up the visuals during editing, including with this video (only for the external shots). The main thing you’re probably noticing; I do spend a lot of time adjusting the time of day and weather in my videos, as both can make a huge difference to how MSFS looks. Outside of that, I add a little bit of vignette to my external shorts and occasionally tweak the contrast a touch also (both of which, could be done with Nvidia filters etc).
      I hope that helps a little. Cheers and all the best : )

      So far as my graphics settings go, I basically just have everything cranked up to Ultra. I do spend a lot of time tweaking the weather and lighting in my videos though, as that can make a huge visual difference within the sim. I also add a little bit of vignette to my external shots and sometimes tweak the contrast, during editing (the same effect could be achieved with the Nvidia game filters, though I don’t use them myself).
      I hope that helps a little. All the best!

    We don't need medium base aircrafts in the sim. Lot of things doesn't work or not simulated and these things just breaking the realism. What we need is study level and there is only one exists right now which is the Fenix. If it's not study level I'm not buying it, not again. I bought this aircraft and the only thing that I can say I've just wasted money on it. I don't understand that why is only one plane is on study level after nearly 4 years of the release. I really hope that the Aerosoft one will be study level. But we miss a lot of plane like the 777, 787, A350, A340, A321, A319, A318 etc. Some of them are on the marketplace but those are just peaces of junk tbh. What the PMDG makes with their planes that is the level of realism what we need. We need more study level aircrafts to represent the real life!

    • @IntotheBlueSimulations
      @IntotheBlueSimulations  11 месяцев назад

      Hi Marci,
      Personally, I’m not really interested in this level of addon either but, a lot of simmers definitely are. I think the only reason we haven’t seen more study level aircraft to date, is that by their very nature, they take longer to make. We have the Fenix A320, PMDG 737 and Leonardo Maddog to name but a few and I’ve no doubt more will follow (the A300 is on the way, the MD-11 also. PMDG are working on their 777, etc).
      Personally, I’m happy if everyone can enjoy the sim, “serious” and casual simmers alike (I didn’t think they’d manage it but, Asobo do seem to be walking that line rather well!). The more successful MSFS is, the better it is for all of us : )
      I can totally understand why the LFVR A330 may not be for you and I’m sorry that you feel you’ve wasted your money.
      All the best!

      If they can update the aircraft to nearly study level perhaps we got a nice MCDU update in the recent days I think I would give it another chance. Because the exterior model is great and the external lights also great but these things are mean nothing without a high fidelty avionics system. I would really fly with this plane but the systems are not on the expected level. Too much inoperative systems.@@IntotheBlueSimulations

      No it didn’t, did it, Nick haha. To be “fair” to LVFR, the aircraft flew the SID about as well as I was expecting; whilst not the most complex SID on the planet, the coding is still a little bit above and beyond what I think LVFR are aiming for with the addon (I think the 330 is currently aimed at Xbox users / more casual simmers - with the sort of FMS where you can just about scrape through a VATSIM flight). That being said, I know the devs plan to continue working on the product so, hopefully we’ll see improvements in this and a number of areas as they go : )
