Hello Julia I have never before seen a star maded that way. It is a great way to make an even star thank you for showing us how to make a great star, without using a stamp . Thank you again for sharing your ideas with us . 🐞🇦🇺
Your star design is quite a unique way of getting your points evening angled. For me to have it not come out with one point way shorter than the other at free hand drawing. Your card is another awesome stand alone creation Julia. Love it!!!
WOW - what a CLEVER way to create a star template!!! LOVE the sentiment you used!!! I'm pretty sure I have that stamp set in my stash. TFS!!! Have a GREAT week!!!
Hi Kathleen - Hope all is well with you! That stamp set is so very versatile. And of course it's packed away ... and that was my last one of "Wish"! So I'll have to come up with something else to use on the next Star Card LOL!!
Tht's a cool way to make a star! I will have to go back and rewatch this to make sure I do it right! I love the subtle pattern to the background and the inside light star was a nice touch! You always come up with such neat ideas!
An interesting way to make a star template, but it works out beautifully and makes a great card. I will have to go back again later to try this one out. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Lilly - Hope all is well with you!! I like this way to make stars they are just more whimsical than equal points to me. It looks like they are reaching up for a hug!
I agree it would be a great December birthday card (which is my birthday month) lol. Well done, Julia and great color combo too....thank you for sharing this.
Hey there Julia, what a lovely card for either birthday or Christmas, and it would make a wonderful masculine card as well especially with those colours. I have always wondered how to make a neat star as mine usually turn out wonky... LOL! 🤣 I would imagine that once you have cut out the star template it would last many uses very much like your recent Christmas tree template. ⭐🎄 Julia, is your Books by Hand PVA glue just a regular PVA glue? I noticed that you were wearing a pink top today... 🩷🩷🩷 Have a wonderful day. God's blessings, love and hugs. 🥰🌷🩷
Hi Gloria - I think this would be the perfect Christmas card with an inside sentiment like "Wishing you a Merry Christmas"! Those 2 colours play very well together, especially when you introduce that little bit of gray. An you are right, I can see several cards made with this template!! Have a wonderful week. Many Blessings to you!!
Hi Tinker - I bought that set years ago, but here is a very similar set - www.amazon.com/kaverme-Anti-Static-Electronics-Laboratory-Jewelry-Making/dp/B0BNNGC3Q2/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1GLGFWB9AKTT4&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.CfMn7hmiXDiXYwQ5HJhOiUXomco4tVYwQjqsFoRGp5qY_4KuYCazBfCDikopiCTsiryufQIc70-zgfStUToxjfjIVSK_5rifuMfKEuR3ZowSBaNOejFutZyoWurmyiuJigvktLDbOtY1g4kgv-DNpSemlPzpZpRQXY-H1tsObwWRje93yEayvzSBflE7DsEqcfSZt_E2Z7M4OkNuFKkVQuAymSDHfFIosEg5_G8Cu5NAiqHSsfm7PG7grdnDsXJ14NefsttIEL9LfOx-xrKTo-aTjpNrX7LzrotE80WKpHo.fw0Y9LFvlCEtUkyP0uc9X9BJ76wnHsEfXudahZyqIZ0&dib_tag=se&keywords=tweezers%2Bfor%2Bcrafting&qid=1721134156&sprefix=tweezers%2Bfor%2Bcrafting%2Caps%2C104&sr=8-6&th=1

You are very welcome Nina! I like that you don't always have to have commercial cutting dies for everything...
Your star design is quite a unique way of getting your points evening angled. For me to have it not come out with one point way shorter than the other at free hand drawing. Your card is another awesome stand alone creation Julia. Love it!!!
Thank you so much Roxanne - I can't free hand draw anything recognizable so I understand completely!! LOL
I’ve never seen a star created like that. That’s a really cool idea. Thanks for sharing your really pretty card.
I like them because they look like they are reaching up. And you can cut them easily for different sizes.

Thanks Maureen - These are really an easy way to make a Holiday card.
Genius idea for the Star pattern, and there are lots of possibilities with this design.
Pretty card, Julia! Thanks for the tutorial! ❤️
You are very welcome Gigi! I'm pretty sure you could cut it in one piece, but it's just easier for me to do it in a 2-step process.

Great technique 😊
Glad you think so! Thanks!
Another good idea! by the way I ordered the PVA glue too. It came Friday and I haven't had time to try it yet.
Thanks Sybil - Let me know how you like the glue. I'm still on the very first bottle I purchased in 2022!

what brand are your tweezers & where did you purchase them? i've been looking for good, pointed tweezers; so many have a slant tip.
