Hey there Julia, and happy CHRISTmas in July! 🎄This Christmas in July has become a big thing, and I am even seeing Christmas adds on TV!!! For a moment I thought I slept through several months and woke up in December, however, for me here in Aussie land it is still too cold to be December...LOL! 🤣 As you know Julia, I try and make Christian themed cards for Christmas, but on seeing these beautiful Christmas cards with trees and baubles I am leaning on making several of them to send maybe to other family and friends that don't really appreciate my Christian cards. Mind you I still stand by to claim that "Jesus is the reason for the season" whether in July or December!!! It is good to use up all that coloured cardstock in your stash. I have very little coloured cardstock now, and basically have black and white. If I need a coloured panel, I usually swipe the edges with my chosen coloured ink pad... easy peasy!!! Thanks for part one, and now I am looking forward to part two. God's blessings, love and hugs. 🥰🎄❤
Hey Gloria! Hope all is well in your part of the world. You are absolutely right in your thought about Christmas cards and colored cardstock!! Thank you!! Blessings back atcha!
This is such a great card to show others that you don't have to spend slot of money to make a great card that comes from the heart as long as you can draw easy shapes and turn it into something beautiful!
Pretty card, and I know whoever gets it will love the original look and hand made appeal. I agree with you about the inking the edge, I am a front edger too. Just doesn't work for me from the back. Thanks for all the good ideas.
I love this card! Great way for anyone new to card making, who does not have a Christmas tree stamp, learn that they now can make a pretty Christmas card. I enjoy watching your simple techniques become a work of beauty!
Hi Helen hope all is well with you today! You are exactly right - These are easy and can be stampless cards. My Christmas collection is in storage so you will be seeing several of this sort of cards in the weeks to come ...
Hi Julia, what an adorable card -- I love it. Hope you are doing well. We are just back from a week at the cottage and have just sat down for a few minutes with my YouTubing buddies. Thanks so much. ❤ 🇨🇦 😊
Hi Julia, I kept watching and thinking, where is she going with this? Absolutely beautiful!! You never disappoint. If you have a chance, would you do another "decorating a gift bag" or even maybe making some gift card holders? Yours are by far the best and I seem to always need them
Hi Senior "Julia". I was so happy to discover your site and videos. I guess I must be Senior Pat (I'm 74, and still loving life and my crafting). I too have a large mixture of old and new products. From looking on your videos on your site, I think I have found my stamping home. What you do makes so much sense, in the use of your cardmaking stash. So, I have subscribed. I do have a question about a comment you made on this video about the background of your card, and using a stencil from amazon. I have never seen them on amazon. What should I put in the search line? Thanks.
Hi Patricia and Welcome to My Channel. I usually just do a search for "stencils" - there are bunches on amazon. This particular one came in this set - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B7BNV94K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Hi Jo and Thank you! I used the Hero Arts alphabet stamps I showed to make the NOEL. I stamped them in a line with about 1/8 inch apart. Then I went back with an alcohol marker and added green around them. It really made the white letters pop. Take care!
Julia, I love the simplicity AND the WOW factor of this card. Thanks for sharing ❤
You are so welcome Beverly - Glad you liked it!
Super CUTE!!! LOVE the use of a swirl for a star!!! The use of the dry wall tape is the perfect finishing touch!!! Have a GREAT week!!!
Thanks Kathleen - These are such an easy card to create and now I'm hooked on drywall tape again! It gives such a nice effect. Take care and Be Well!!
Julia, it is always fun watching you create the simplicity of your card making and they always come out looking fantastic.
Thank you for sharing them.
You are so very welcome Terrie - Hope you have a wonderful week!
Julia the card is simple and very affective, I love the way you use your marker around the edges. 🌲🐞
Thanks so much Nina! 😊

Did you see the ones I made last year Susan? They were very cute too. Here's a link if you missed it. ruclips.net/video/fIG4qX01krs/видео.html

Love the primitive vibe of this card. I probably wouldn't use the NOEL - maybe a script sentiment. Thanks = It is lovely.
Thank you. I just purchased that Hero Arts alpha set and wanted to try it out. Stamps beautifully!
Very cute card.
Thanks Dolores - Easy to make without a lot of stamps!
Super cute 🎄

As always, I enjoyed your video! Was wondering how you made the "NOEL"? - jo shu
