That one actually makes sense. If a kid goes to Disney expecting to meet a princess and she turns out to be 5'0" tall or 6'0" tall, the kid is gonna be really confused. Being fired from being a princess for turning 23 is ridiculous though.
I was three and had a problem with the sad barney my mom hired ( both conceptually and how short it was and other lackluster features) so I get it, also means shorter models and actresses have a niche they can fill.
i might be wrong but i believe all the costumes are the same size and there’s a limit to what can be adjusted, so it makes sense that they wouldn’t hire tall princesses
I mean, the proposal thing makes sense for everyone involved; imagine you propose to someone, they say no, and there's a Disney princess in full getup right next to you during what's probably one of the worst moments of your life...
That's why public proposals, unless you know that he/she wants to, is just an awful move. Cause besides the embarrassment, it also puts immense pressure on that person to say yes because of that otherwise inevitable embarrassment.

Annual tickets, Disney Christmas tree, Disney tableware, homemade Disney dresses. She invited me to their home when I was fairly new and her husband had been told that I was from the same area. He asked me FIVE times to reassure him that I wasn’t a Disney adult 🤣 poor guy thought everyone there was obsessed because she was (is) and all her friends are, too. When I told him I still enjoy watching a Disney movie now and then, he started questioning me again 🙈

I feel like anyone that was a former CM has got tons of stories. I worked a resort and have an entire story about a family that forgot their five year old and went to the parks. Then when we called them, they didn’t want to come back for her and complained that their vacation was ruined. CMs have certainly seen things and stuff which is why anytime I visit the parks, I’m as nice as possible to them because I’ve been there and I know.

They are so strict about having phones back there that they have signs posted every 20 yards that warn you. Also marching in a parade down the center sucks cause I almost broke my ankle and it’s too goddamn hot for uniforms.

i used to work in disneyland paris as a witch in the parade when i was 19/20. Never eeeeeeeever would i go there with my children, i‘ve seen too much 😂🙈 But at least i met my partner of over a decade there
When i went to disney when I went up to the booths I said I was celebrating something and I told em I was getting divorced, The lady behind the counter chuckled and wrote it in sharpie on one of the those big buttons you can stick on your shirt. Everytime we went on a ride the attendant would say something along the line of "OH I see we have someone celebrating something special (Leans in closer to read the button) He is celebrating getting divorced!!!" And people would start cheering.
I worked for Disney when I was in my 20s (like 15 or so years ago)... honestly there was nothing bad about it. They had weird strict rules, but honestly nothing unreasonable. I left because I didn't have a car at the time and had to take like an hour bus ride there and back everyday I worked for like $5-and-chage an hour and going to college full time... even the free entry into all Disney parks for me and my family wasn't worth it.

I worked for Disney when I was in my 20s (like 15 or so years ago)... honestly there was nothing bad about it. They had weird strict rules, but honestly nothing unreasonable. I left because I didn't have a car at the time and had to take like an hour bus ride there and back everyday I worked for like $5-and-chage an hour and going to college full time... even the free entry into all Disney parks for me and my family wasn't worth it.
