Finally after 2 months of my video search your video is the only video which helped my disk space to start fluctuate from 100% to 3% . I can see after every few mins it still goes up to 95% but atleast this laptop is working better . I owe u a beer mate . Thanks and cheers
If you feel like making a new tutorial, you may want to include un-parking your CPU cores, enabling write-caching policies, and disabling the search index. That will really help out the system. Edit: I also realize you didn't go into detail with the performance settings. You can change the minimum CPU usuage for the system by changing advanced power settings when you go to change the plan settings. I'd recommend a minimum of 95-97% just so your system doesn't overheat, but it's fine running it off 100%.

What the do you keep putting on your computer to make it slow? Just download PC cleaner pro I'll give you the registration key later. PC cleaner pro is the best program to use for viruses and other. PC cleaner pro is an easy program to use. I'll make a video to show you later.
If Task Manager "Disk" is at 100% IE will lagged. That's is the problem I'm experiencing. I did follow your advise in disabling some programs. Thanks for the tip about "Power Options". I changed it to high performance and I like the view much better. Before the view was to dim. Thanks
B-4 watching this video it use to take 2minutes for my pc turned on, now 30seconds, 45seconds w/backup hard drive connected. 5minutes to retrieve videos from my backup hard Dr. now only 20 seconds. Dave is good but...GiG'r

Well, win8/8.1 is faster. Aside from the OS it's self, it's also faster in some games. Ones that take advantage of how the OS works. Like BF4 for example. BF4 gains 20%+ fps in win 8.1 over win7. And if you ignore metro, it actually works pretty much like Win7.

I disabled Windows Event Collector, Windows Event Log, Homegroup Listener and Homegroup Provider, and after that, none of the apps installed from the Marketplace were working. Not even the Marketplace. (it says that there is no internet connection, althrough i can use IExplorer from the Desktop. But IExplorer from Start Screen does not work.) Could you reply me a small list of 100% useless services, that does not affect in any defectuous way Windows 8.1?
Myrmeko Me This may be because you disabled windows event collector i don't personally disable that as it hinders laptop stability, i'm unsure about windows event log it may also affect stability Services you can sefely disable: Windows Update Superfetch (unless your using readyboost) Bonjour services Pretty much anything related to installed downloads If you want to really lower usage disable the firewall and check if any software use automatic updating and disable it, this may be done on services task manager or on the settings on the software

Just saying I found a file that said do not load if i put that value high on someones computer would it troll them because it would take longer for the computer to load

get a better perfomance its very cheap 350 dollars machine you can get really fast performance and make sure you have an ssd the ssd is making your computer faster 100%
