Sewing DIY: How to make button down SUNDRESS

Hello everyone, thank you for stopping by. I just got my sewing machine and started learning sewing about two months ago, and fell in love with it. And I would like to share my learning experience with you guys. Hope we can learn and have run together.
Let's get started!
First of all, let's see what we need.
Now the top, when I decided to make the video I already finished cutting the top, but I will show you how I did it. Because I did not know the cotton material is so sheer, I did not buy the lining, so I double folded the cloth. And then follow the shape of the old dress to cut that triangle sort of shape, then sewed the two layers together.
The bottom lining, since I did not buy separate lining cloth and did not buy much extra cloth, I sewed all the small pieces together to make the lining for the bottom, so it took longer than expected.
Tada, it is done! I'm very happy with how it turns out, time to wear it and go out!
