Owning a 2018 Countryman Cooper 1.5 Twinpower Turbo, I absolutely love it. It's spacious enough as a family car (2 kids and a dog), it's sporty enough to satisfy the dads and it's comfortable enough for the co driver and passengers. It's just so perfect. It has premium features and basic needs, the allround quality is up there. Fitted with the right tyres, it challenges sports cars in corners.
Feel like I always say this, but your videos are getting better and better, Tish! This has to be the best special edition they've done. Love the spec and would love to see similar in other Mini models, too.
Just sold our 2019 hardtop Oxford cooper we bought new, put 60k trouble free miles on, and snagged a ‘24 untamed in Nanuq. It drives like a dream, has great low end, and the interior is phenomenal. Looking to get at least 100k on this one before we snag another.
Picked up the PHEV version of the Untamed last November and love every second of it. Fantastic fuel economy (4.2L/100km), good styling and fun to drive. Too bad those would be the last phev mini since the next gen Countryman will be a BEV only.
Over last 20 years I’ve had two mini ones, a Mini Cooper, Mini Cooper Clubman and I’m about to pick up a new mini countryman. In between these cars, I’ve had great experiences with 2 Mazdas (a cx30 and cx5), a Seat Leon a BMW 1 series and recently a Hyundai Tuscon, however, I keep coming back to the mini. I just love the quirky, well built interiors .I wasn’t sure at all about the Countryman when it first came out, thought it looked a bit too big and clunky, but I’m so used to seeing them on the road now, and for me spending most of my time inside the car, I just love the interior and as I get a bit older and appreciate the ease of getting in and out of the slightly bigger raised, driving position and need more space for family and friends, I’m really excited to get into my first countryman in the next few weeks.
Hi Tish well done on a great video as ever I must admit the new mini has won me round when it first came out I never took to it because I guess what happened at Rover and many of my family worked there but then as now it was a great car well made and with the personality of the old one I love that interior I am a big fan of green!
I’ve just ordered one 24 model changing from my Mercedes GLA to a smaller Countryman as I’m older and just need a good quick easy ride to get around in I’m sorry to see my GLA go though I do love it…but I’ve fallen in love with the countryman.
My 1st car was an Austin Mini 850cc 1978S unfortunately it had electrical gremlins. I have a F20 Xdrive, so I'm more reluctant to buy a MINI. I enjoyed your review of the Countryman all4.
That’s so cool, I have such a soft-spot for old Mini’s (I wasn’t aloud one as my first car because of lack of safety.) Thank you for watching my review.
That's my favourite version of the BMW X1. (which I own... picked up last month) 😍 Unfortunately, my "mini" BMW X1 is probably not welcomed in the Mini community. 😢😢
I swear we are connected on a psychic car level Tish! 😂 no joke I am currently in Munich, went round BMW factory and had a really big discussion about these in the mini section! 😂 couldn’t believe how big they are as cars though! As always class review 👍
i am a mini fan cant beat them tish best cars ever think i'm around the same age as you going to be 30 doesn't time go on the 7th of june hope you are well keep up your great work
Well, most SUVs are used in the cities anyway instead of off roading, and the Mini Countryman is no exception. Back in 2011, 62% of SUVs sold in Europe had some measure of 4x4 capability, and back then when small SUVs weren’t as popular as today, they were mostly associated with off roading. But ten years later, only 36% of SUVs sold in Europe had some 4x4 capability. Most SUVs nowadays just share the same platforms with hatchbacks, with a modified exterior and a higher riding position. They tend to cost a bit more than the hatchback they’re based on, and of course, most don’t offer 4x4 capability.
You seemed genuinely excited about this Mini, Tish and it showed when you were behind the wheel (loved your outfit, by the way!). :) This looks like the kind of car that you could figuratively "toss around" the streets while maintaining control the whole way! Shame that you had to give it back to them - you and the Mini look perfect together. ;)
Since its 4WD system can feel a slippery wheel then sends the power to that weel I think it can perform well on loose sandy off roads except on the rocky surfaces. Tell me what you think. Commenting from South Africa 😊
I remember my first car 2021 Nissan Rogue which I had in it for two years 5/1/23 car was stolen and wracked completely 6/4/23 car was found in abandoned construction site insurance compensation claim I replaced the car with mini cooper countryman My 2 years old 2021 Nissan Rogue was towed to scrapyard
No Mini is worth £34, 199 , that is outrageous pricing by Mini and BMW whose sales have somewhat dropped according to Which Car, so any guesses why this could be the next flop?
I absolutely hate the Union Jack lights on all Minis and rather than giving the designer a pay rise, as you suggest, I'd have him/her locked up in a padded cell. We're not all "flag shaggers" you know!
Stop falling in love with diesel/ gas cars. Fall in love with EVs. Fate of the world is in your hand, you need to be more careful. Acid rain, ice melting, permanent flooded cities... aren't far away if diesel/ patrol/ gas vehicles exists. Remember this next time you buy a car, "with great power comes great responsibility." If you don't, no one will.
Clearly you are uneducated about EVs. If you invested some time to actually look at the evidence rather than listening to your Facebook mates and mainstream media, you wouldn’t being spewing the hypocritical garbage. I’m guessing you’re a Vegan.
No other rival comes close to the style of the mini countryman, it is a fantastic design and the interior is sporty and fantastic!, cars like the X1 look boring and don't have the same appeal, for me it's mini all the way.

Mini is just so beautiful, I can’t change to any other car. They are full of detail, design, confort and quality.
Couldn't agree more!

The handling and steering is quite awesome in the Minis, makes them fun to drive.
Best video I’ve seen on this channel. Subscribed now!

So you would recommend over gas only?
I am on to my fourth Mini and third Countryman - can’t imagine owning anything else now
That’s amazing! I think there is a facelift on its way!
Just curious, what is it about the Countryman that keeps you coming back?
@@Danja85 Love that it’s so different to other crossovers from Nissan and Volkswagen etc
Thanks @@TravelPOB, I appreciate your thoughts on this

Have to agree, beautiful interior, shame so common on road, love a Lexus for their interiors and this is a great attempt, well done BMW
Quick question for the Countryman enthusiasts, what is it you love about this particular model, and what keeps you coming back for more?
Countryman and Country Girl Untamed!❤😅

Did someone forget to tell BMW that it was called a “mini” for a reason. That freaking thing is huge. Maybe rename it a “maxi”. Hehe
It’s much bigger than the Maxi was 😮
@@richardhowlett9424 perhaps “gigantor”. Hehe
No mini
Yes, it’s certainly not a small car!
The next one is going to be much smaller.
I've heard from owners that their reliability is poor. Any thoughts?

Always like the Countryman, never had any problems with the design, except the double moon roof. Never liked that period.
Yer it’s a bit chunky isn’t it, although better than a pan that doesn’t open??

Minimal change on the dash, absolutely not a fan of the rectangular sat nav housed in a large circle frame.

Should really have German flag tail lights actually, as its not a British owned company its German owned now!!
But the mini name and heritage is British founded bro but yh I do often wonder why there on rear lights in honesty
Yes that’s true hahah, wonder how long they’ll milk the English heritage after they start being built in China..
