It’s interesting how Temple and Crystal Skull, the movies that divide the fans the most have the weirdest but interesting openings, Temple starts with these amazing musical (funny how Spielberg would direct a remake of West Side Story decades later) and Crystal Skull with some teens challenging a squad of Soviets who are pretending to be American soldiers, to a race only to then infiltrate Area 51. While the most beloved movies in the series Raiders and Crusade have an adventure opening suitable for the genre they belong, which are cool too. Gosh, the four movies directed by Spielberg are something special.

Oh my god. I am 8 months late to this comment!!! So the real swim dress that Kate wore, closed at the centre back with a few hooks and eyes. these would bring the two edges together. Then there was another hook and eye closure sewn to the underside of that decorative knot at the back, so that it could be fastened over the back neatly and kept in place.
Absolutely. It shows his talent for choreography. He is known for having the best "blocking" or character movement in films. He finally got to direct a full blown musical in the remake of West Side Story. This was our intro to that.
