    I love the blue colour. I had totally forgotten about that cast on and cast off. Thank you 😊

    I love this and you teach wonderfully. Thank you. I’m a crocheter so I found this chain cash on easier with a crochet hook. Easier to maintain a good tension.

    I love your videos. You make it look so easy. I’m a beginner and have only made a couple of hats so far. I can’t wait to try these different weaves. It’s beautiful.

    Great instructions, Deborah!! I've only started loom knitting for a couple years in making hats for the homeless. The beginner hats have become boring for me so I've been looking for a good intermediate pattern to try this winter. One hint that makes life easier for me & my older wrist and joints is to thread a 1 to 1 & a half piece of plastic straw on the yarn. I use it to guide the yarn on the loom easier, as well as being easy to control the tension. It also makes it easier when I use 2 strands of yarn.

      I've also used the straw for years...make life SO much easier and faster to loom! Highly recommend.

    I tried this on the knifty knitter loom with double worsted weight yarn and it didn't look as nice. I think I need another type of yarn. I did use the edge though, and it looks amazing, also your chain cast on is amazing, I think I will be using it for everything now! Thank you!!!! 💗💗💗

    WOW! I'm coming back to this when I have my yarn and loop. I Love this...the product and the way you explained it was so EASY to follow your instructions! Even the tone/nflection of your voice carried ''no worries'' whatsoever.....excellent video, excellent teaching, and I LOVE the product *and your choice of colors too!* Bravo and a hearty thank YOU!

    I really love this pattern, it turned out gorgeous for me. But my only problem was the back of it. I had a few that were not looped. They were just straight strings. For the life of me, I just couldn't make the pattern match all around. But still looked great. Thank you so much 💓

      Yay! I restarted it for the second time and I finally have it perfect all around. 😄

    As a beginner, this was so easy and it turned out beautiful. Thank you! If I wanted to make this a hat, how would I bind off? Just knit off?

    • @DeborahShaw
      @DeborahShaw  3 года назад

      You can take a look at cowl videos and use that bind off or any bind off you like

    As a beginner I found this SO easy. Thank you!!! I also found if I use one strand for the cast on/bind off it's not as bulky, then 2 strands for the rest. But either I love this pattern/technique.💗💗💗

  • @luisackerman7629

    start of bind off, you went down but you sent needle through the loop created and went to up on left pin. Then you stayed to the outside of yarn before going up the previous pin til the end To cast off you did the same as when you started and went through the loop before going up to previous pin, do you want a knot at the beginning and at the end of the casting off?

    • @DeborahShaw
      @DeborahShaw  Год назад

      This is how I do the cast off, but you can do any you want. Mine are fine doing it this way.

    Would i be able to do this on a 3/8 gauge. If so would i have to change anything.

    • @DeborahShaw
      @DeborahShaw  3 года назад +1

      As long as you use the correct size for the yarn you should be fine.

    Thank you Deborah! I've made several of head bands and love how they turn out! One question for you, do you undo the knot in the slip knot that you did at the very beginning? Thank you!

    • @DeborahShaw
      @DeborahShaw  4 года назад

      not usually unless its the kind of yarn that leaves a funny knot.

    I love it! Do you have this pattern for a scarf?

    • @DeborahShaw
      @DeborahShaw  5 лет назад +1

      A flat panel for a scarf would have a lot of long strings that would have to be fixed up so never did it but a tube scarf would match exactly.
