Regarding the retirement visa. Is this two statement true regarding requirement to extend the retirement visa?:
1: "“Once the income has been demonstrated in the application you will have to continually show a monthly deposit into a Honduran bank to keep your residency.”
2: "To maintain residency status, residents must visit Honduras at least once every 12 months, with a requirement to stay for at least one day."
If you are a retiree with proof of income (approx. $1,500/month) from a verifiable source (i.e., Social Security benefits) you can apply for your residency. This income must be paid into a Honduran bank account.

Do they have hot water in their apartment? How is the water supply? How do they do money transactions, do they relyeon ATMs? What happens if they have a medical emergency?
The bad perception of the country is notable, but there are many foreigners living in Honduras

The reason is
