Bon Voyage Queen Anne!

On the 3rd May 2024, Cunards newest vessel, the Queen Anne, sailed from Southampton, inm many years.
Steamship Shieldhall made steam to join her as the Queen Anne cast off for her maiden voyage, cheered on by onlookers on the deck of Shieldhall and illuminated by a bright shower of fireworks, the Queen Anne set sail on her new brand career.
In this video, we chat with our passengers, learn of their interests, passions and links to the Queen Anne, including some guests who would be onboard her maiden voyage and sharing a sweet moment where an officer of the Queen Anne addressed the entire Shieldhall to say hello to his grandparents.
Shieldhall is a Heritage steam ship and a member of the National Historic Fleet. Recognised to be the largest working steam ship of her type in Britain and probably Europe, she serves as a tribute to Britain's maritime heritage and a living reminder of the golden age of steam.

What an excellent video and momento of this rare occasion of a maiden voyage of a Cunard ship!! Having sailed on Shieldhall previously I am sure all your guests on the two sailings on 3 May have many happy my memories!! I have also sailed with Captain Inge on Queen Victoria and she is a fantastic ambassador for Cunard and am delighted with her captaincy if Queen Anne 👍✅
