My '02 just started having loss of power steering fluid. I figured it mufht be the high pressure line, but I warched a few videos and now I'm thinking the low pressure line seems more common.
There's an O-Ring on the metal end?? That looks like a regular flared end fitting, and those usually don't use an O-ring. Well, thanks for the good advice 👍.

The cars /etc in the last like 30 yrs or so are harder to work on, trying to pack 10 lb of crap in a 1lb space. Sometimes pressure washing the engine compartment really well and adding a die to the oil or fluid that u think is leaking may help find a leak, good luck

Do you any videos where they show how to replace the power steering return line for a Buick Lesabre?

I wish , The problem is If I make a 2 Min video it takes me 2.5 Hr. to upload it. Video Like what your asking about would take maybe 20 min. The Internet here is more than awful. I found the hardest thing was getting the fitting loose, routing the hose was easier part.

That’s the hose I need replaced and after all my medical problems I can’t do it myself anymore. The Mechanic that replaced my power steering pump and rack & pinion can’t do it since he got that latest Covid the guy and his family refused to get vaccinated now I’ll have to bring it to someone else next month after I get my SSR check now I need to find out how much it’s going to cost me and I know full well you can’t tell me what someone else is going to charge me. By the way I use to work for Sears Automotive twice first 1975-1977 as tire battery & electrical and shock replacement then from 1989-1993 as Back Shop Salesman that ended up doing Brake Jobs and inspecting cars in New York State before & during working at Sears I’m retired after cancer treatments and prednisone ate my bone away and I had both shoulders replaced and bone grafts on both hips all in the 1990’-1999. Then in 2016 had open heart surgery aortic valve replaced one bypass and a pacemaker put in and on top of that I’m now a diabetic oh well thanks for this info

when I cut the steel line off close to the flare nut, then it was easy to break the flare nut loose and remove it. And the line itself was easy to route and easy to tighten with a flare wrench.
I am sorry to hear about your health.
I am not sure where your located you mentioned New York, I don't know how close you might be to South Main Auto Repair, I believe in Bath New York, Eric O, You might give him a call if He can't help you he might know someone close to you that can. God Bless and good luck

Workin on the same thing... what size is that on that there.. socket... did you have to remove the heat sheild.. at all ?

I am sorry I don't remember the socket size, but it seems to me it was a 15 or 17 mm, I should have said in the video but I didn't. You reminded me that I should start giving more details.
I never removed a heat shield, I just cut off the steel line close to the head of the tubing nut and used a socket and breaker bar to break the fitting loose.
After that it was easy, I tried a flare wrench at first to remove the fitting and it was difficult, I found it was easier to cut the steel line remove it with the breaker bar, and tighten it up with the flare wrench.
Good luck to you if I can help let me know
