We agree, Gene! There's so much to see and do and tons of history! That sounds like it was a great tour. Do you have a favorite place you visited out of those?

Loved this video! I can’t get over how gorgeous those wineries were. The art, architecture and the food are so incredible in Italy. I would have loved that “darker side” of Florence tour. Ciao until the next video!
Yay! So glad you loved this one, Shannon! The video doesn't even do them justice, they are even more breathtaking in person. Truly incredible! The dark history tour was so fascinating too! Let me just say this, they loved their public humiliations and torture back in the day 😱 -Katelyn
This video just brought back memories of our Mediterranean cruise two years ago! Florence is a beautiful and historic city, one not to be missed. Since we were on scheduled tours, we obviously couldn’t see everything, so you just made our tour pretty much complete! On 10/12/19, we celebrated my birthday in Naples and walked the ancient city of Pompeii…QUITE the birthday present, followed by a 15” Margherita pizza for EACH person on the tour! (They had to wheel me back to the ship! 😜). Thanks so much again for a lovely, narrated tour of some of my most favorite places!
How fun, Virginia!! A Mediterranean cruise sounds dreamy! We did Pompeii too! That will be in a few weeks, though. Such a fascinating place. So glad you enjoyed seeing Florence through our lens! See you again next week! ❤ -Katelyn
I was in Florence, Tuscany and much of Northern Italy in autumn before the pandemic. Was scheduled to return autumn of 2020 for Rome, southern Italy & Sicily but we all know how that turned out 😷. May try again next year, we’ll see how things go. You’ve really taken advantage of travel benefit in time of Covid. Wishing you continued safe travels.
We ate SO MUCH! Haha. There was definitely a good amount of tourists but from what we were told, still nothing close to "normal." But we were there at the start of the off-season too!
Oh how I love Florence! It was my favorite city, liked it better than Rome and Venice. I loved watching this and it makes me want to return even more. Next time I'll also go to Sicily to the town my grandmother was born. Can't wait for next week!
Florence is exceptionally beautiful! We didn't have an opportunity to visit Venice on this trip, but we will one day! So glad you enjoyed this. ooo Sicily is on our list, as well! My grandfather was also born in Italy, but in the North!! -Katelyn
How absolutely stunning. It doesn't matter where you guys are in Mexico, Canada or where ever, the editing, information and sharp images are awesome. So you've had three weeks in Italy already huh? Wonder what country is next on the list. Can't wait to see more of Italy though. 🙏 💝 🇳🇿 🙋♀️ 🇳🇱
Yes, My wife and I have been to Firenze many times. Have close friends who live the and my wife lived there for 3 years. It is our third home (the second home is Kiel, Germany where my wife is from). You are a local girl. We're from Williamsburg, VA.
Oh how wonderful! Such a beautiful city. It was our first visit, but I have a feeling it won't be our last. We still want to explore Germany too! And yes! Hello to my fellow Virginians!!! 🤗
Omg…this place is so beautiful.no words. Plus I think I gained weight just watching this!!lol. Definitely on the bucket list. It depends how long we stay in Scotland. ❤️
Hahaha gimmee those unlimited bread sticks. 😆 The food in Italy is absolutely incredible. I miss it so much. Oh and the wine. Amazing! Thanks for tuning in! 😊 -Katelyn
It's funny I never knew but when I took art in college at hack. I am I had to draw a picture of the David Justice had though and I never truly knew. I was drawing the David and Goliath. Statue because of course, I'm too young at the time to even understand or even know about Italy or even care for that matter. I just had to draw a picture of his heand what a handsome fella he was. And I got to go to Italy but nothing like thit was Italy from Switzerland area. But pretty extraordinary. Area absolutely beautiful.
Thanks, Amanda! We had two different rentals during our trip. One from Sixt (the big van) and a second later in Southern Italy (Avis). Both were absolutely fine, but we were extra cautious about photographing and filming the entire exterior including the roof of our rentals. Italy is one of the few countries that credit card car rental insurance will NOT cover, and there are tons of horror stories on Tripadvisor and others about abuse by rental companies (regardless of brand, but more common with the local companies instead of the big chains). People are charged for scuffed tire rims, etc. Luckily, both were absolutely fine and we didn't need evidence of the cars condition at pickup, but good to have. 👍 -Howard
Also, are you planning a trip to Italy? If so, which areas are you considering? We'll have episodes every week from different areas of the country and of course let us know if you have any more questions!

Thank you for your video! I will be there next week. One thing that no one ever talks about is how long it takes to get through immigration now. So can I ask? How long did it take you to get through immigration?
Hey Lance! You're quite welcome. Hope you have a great trip! And good question... If you have a US passport you can use the electronic passport control lanes. It only took about 5 mins and another 5 to get the stamp from the officer. We arrived on a Monday morning and had no issues at all! Hope that helps!! And hope your process is just as smooth!

re: gelato, its a no no to get gelato exposed or piled high per locals...
Interesting, not sure what "exposed gelato" means, as in from an outside vendor? Want to learn more about this!
Is their Gelatos comparable to Ben & Jerrys?
Does Ben & Jerry's make gelato now, too?
Great video and excellent production. Love the commentary but Howard is so distracting...so damn handsome and easy on the eyes...just like Tuscany.
