I spent less than 12 hours in Florence and it was still by far my favorite! That just means I have to go back for more! Thanks Angel, your videos are awesome!
I watched a lot of RUclips videos before spending 3+ days in Firenze. This was hands-down the best. It was full of valuable information, and not a bunch of "Instagram Facebook like fluff." We hit most of the eating spots Angel did! And they were great! I even learned a new phase to announce my happiness - "Where have you been!" Molto grazie!
Lived The Dream, in the &0’s, worked doing pastel portraits for half a year for 3 years, returning to work at Uffizi & Duomo in the day and Ponte Vecchio at night! I really went to Eat and get addicted to cappuccino! Ran into Pavarotti, raised a pigeon, rescued cats at The Boboli Garden, and escaped my Fidanzado- jogged right to the Train Station! Lived at Borgo Santa Croce #4, visited Michelangelo’s tomb every morning after getting a cappuccino and jogging around the Piazza! Had dinner in Dante’s House! Had Gelato Every Day! Would do it all Again! Maybe I WILL?

Do you have a rough timeline for this type of trip? I'm trying to figure out about how long is being spent in each place to purchase timed tickets. Thanks for the video!
Italy is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Broadly speaking, you can find minimal crowds in January-March, Mid-November until the first week of December.
Thank you for another great video. I am going to be in Florence for a few days for a conference. I will have 3 x 1/2 days (afternoons) free. Are there 1/2 day afternoon tour options? Is Pisa an option for an afternoon trip as well? Thank you :-)
Thanks for this very informative video. Will be in Florence in January 2024. What is the name of that restaurant- the Trattoria something? Florentine steak looks amazing!
I am visiting on the first Sunday of the month. Museum and Gallery supposed to be free in Italy. Should I still book tickets? Is it going to be too busy with long lines?
Awesome video. Can I ask if you guys offer a tour to Florence that will start in La spezia? We are coming off from a cruise ship and there’s 6 of us. I wana do the Duomo climb and seeing the statue of David. Pls let me know if it’s possible. September 12. Thanks
Great video and list of places. Since this is Florence in a day, how long did you stay in the places like the Accademia, Palazzo Vecchio, etc that had works of art to view. My wife hates to just rush through those. Thinking we might split this over 2 days. Thank you
I’m a big believer in not rushing around and even though I did a lot in one day in Florence I certainly was not rushing. This was my ideal day in Florence. With that said, he didn’t make your wife upset, stressed, or feel rushed. Go at your own pace for sure. Does that means spreading things out between two or three days that works too! You can book the sites individually on our website or as part of a Florence in a day. The beauty about Florence in the day is that you can go back and do a deep dive on day two or three or simply spend more time doing other things or relaxing

I just got back from my 2 weeks Italy holiday & I would like to share a tip about ordering Gelato in Florence so unsuspecting tourists will not get overcharged, like me. I was roaming around the Duomo in Florence when I chance upon this Gelato shop on the main thoroughfare from the Duomo, on Via Dei Calzaiuoli. This shop is about 2 shops from the Hotel Maxim Axial, closer to the Duomo side. I ordered the usual 2 scoop gelato & was charged 15 Euros for it. I had earlier ordered gelatos in Rome around the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps area & the prices ranged from 4 to 6 Euros. The gelato I got in this Florence shop was of poor quality. The lesson learnt here is to always check the price before ordering any food around tourist hot spots so you don't get a rude shock like me. Ciao!
That’s a big bummer. I’m sorry that happened to you but I’m very happy that you shared your experience. It’s something we can all learn from. Thank you.
Would I be ok to go to these places to eat if I don’t speak Italian? Also, do the markets and restaurants mostly accept a card or do I need to pay cash?
Vendors always appreciate cash over cards but cards are widely accepted now. As far as language, greet people in the local language when you enter. Learn phrases like, “do you speak English” “please” “thank you”. This will show a willingness and a lack of entitlement. Things will be easy from there. If you are desperate use google translate
