I love watching your videos before traveling. It has made our family trips to Milan, Paris, Barcelona, Rome/Vatican super enjoyable! Keep up the amazing work!
I watched a lot of RUclips videos before spending 3+ days in Firenze. This was hands-down the best. It was full of valuable information, and not a bunch of "Instagram Facebook like fluff." We hit most of the eating spots Angel did! And they were great! I even learned a new phase to announce my happiness - "Where have you been!" Molto grazie!
I spent less than 12 hours in Florence and it was still by far my favorite! That just means I have to go back for more! Thanks Angel, your videos are awesome!
Lived The Dream, in the &0’s, worked doing pastel portraits for half a year for 3 years, returning to work at Uffizi & Duomo in the day and Ponte Vecchio at night! Would I be ok to go to these places to eat if I don’t speak Italian? Also, do the markets and restaurants mostly accept a card or do I need to pay cash?
Vendors always appreciate cash over cards but cards are widely accepted now. As far as language, greet people in the local language when you enter. Learn phrases like, “do you speak English” “please” “thank you”. This will show a willingness and a lack of entitlement. Things will be easy from there. If you are desperate use google translate
