  • Best Way to Keep Your Shirt Tucked in (ALL DAY)
What's up guys today I'm showing you what I would consider the best 3 methods for keeping your shirt tucked in throughout the day.

    #1 - The Military Tuck
I'm sure many of you are familiar with this one. I myself learned about it at an early age and executed it wrong for years. There were little details in this style of shirt tuck that I just wasn't figuring out. I would consider this an effective short-term tucking solution. I say short-term because You'll almost never make it through the whole day with a military tuck. You'll find yourself readjusting it again and again as the day progresses.
    #2 - Magnetucks - amzn.to/2MPVCEd
This is a really great idea that (IMO) works really well. I was skeptical of how well these could actually hold your shirt down but after using them for months I'm 100% convinced of their effectiveness. These come in pairs and the magnets clamp onto your shirt and use the belt to prevent the shirt from sliding up any further. So obviously you'll need a belt for these to work but I imagine in most situations where you're wearing a dress shirt you'll have a belt.
The one place where these do fall a little short is during any quick moments of "excessive" movement. If you raise your arms above your head, for example, that should be enough force to pull the Magnetucks apart. However, I find that those moments are few and far between and this product makes up for any shortcomings by being the most convenient and comfortable solution on this list.

    #3 - Shirt Stays - amzn.to/2BLEICB
These are hands down the most effective solution for keeping that shirt tightly tucked all day no questions asked. I'm currently testing out a pair of KK&Jay stays and so far I've had no problems with them. The secure at two points on the shirt and then one point on your socks to lock the shirt into place.
Admittedly they can become somewhat uncomfortable throughout the day. So I've found my self-using a combination of these and the magnetucks more and more depending on how long of a day I'm planning on having. For example, if I have a long work day ahead of me I'll probably use magnetucks because they'll be more comfortable for a longer period of time.

If I'm going to a wedding or a meeting then I'll probably use the shirt stays because I won't have to wear them all day.

I never knew of the military tuck. Thanks 👍
I have two different kinds of shirt stays (socks and thighs), but like you stated; they’re a pain.

Where do you recommend getting shirts tailored?

Ryan Herman I would do a quick Google search for your local area and research some of the reviews. I had to go through two tailors locally before I found one who was priced right and offering a quality service. Cheap tailoring often leads to adjustments that break down after a couple months. Thanks so much for watching and dropping a comment 👊

I have a wide back, a 34" waist and a 40" ass, my hips absolutely refuse to stay in my pants and it's frustrating the amount of time I spend tucking in. I guess I'll try shirt stays cause there's *no room* in the hips of my pants for magnets.

I usually pull shirt a little and pinch to The belt line and its look way better than tucked all The Day Down that material is so flat

Eddie Palomares ya they make such a big difference. They also make me feel a little less stressed at formal events. Sometime I’m paranoid the whole evening that my shirt is just puffed out like crazy. Thanks for watching Eddie!

what if i wanna hide my love handle and belly. That why i dont do a tight tuck xD

Thanks for commenting! Great question, and you're absolutely right! A tightly tucked shirt will always accentuate the love handles. There are options there. You can buy shirts that are dressy but at a shorter length and style them in a way that doesn't require them being tucked, you could also rely on layering to give everything a more uniform appearance (Blazer, Jacket, Vest) if you'd like. 😄

I can't believe we live in a time and age where we need instructions to tuck a shirt.

Well not everyone is fortunate enough to have some one walk them through the proper way to do so. It's never a bad time to learn simple things like how to properly tuck a shirt or tie a tie. Thanks for watching really appreciate your support.
