Just bought a V2.0.0 last week. I put self tightening 9443 props and modded it to fit a Turnigy 5200mah 11.4V LIHV battery. (Alot of work) It also needed a new green LED so I bad to buy a new ESC and solder it in. I got a screen printed "big battery door" and new vinal stickers for it from ebay. Has a Go Pro hero 4, Very stable with those big props but still getting a gimbal. It's one of my favorite drones to fly. I have mabe $100 in it total and it now gets about 20 minutes of flight time with a camera and 26 minutes without one.
@@JK-mg2cl the camera's on modern mavics are way better than most things that you will be able to put on this. Not to mention way better range, better battery, smart modes, and new firmware.
Mainly bug fixes and camera/gimbal support. If your firmware is at v3 to v4, you don't really have to update if you don't want to. But earlier firmware version do have major bugs.

The controls on the phantom series are the same as basically every other drone, so just doing a quick search for how to fly a drone should yield some helpful results
Hi, i was given a phantom 1 as a gift but without batteries and remote. I can solve the battery problem but what about the remote? Are there compatible remotes that work with phantom 1?
I have a problem downloading the drivers of this drone, my PC is Windows 11 and it marks me that I cannot install the drivers, so I cannot update my drone, does anyone know how I can fix the problem?
Picture this its 2021 and i found one someone tossed in the trash. with a brand new gimble, AND IT FLYS! i sold my phantom 2 back in the day when the 3 came out and didnt look back until one fell in my lap

The registry no longer works. Anyway it works without registration. Regarding the installation of the drivers, just disable Signed Driver Enforcement. If you don't know how to do it, look at some tutorial on ytube. It's really easy. As of Win10, an alert appears that the installation was blocked for security. The problem is if the PC has Win7 or Win8, there is no alert, and you can lose a lot of time and headaches too. Just disable Signed Driver Enforcement and the program will work

@Dawid Jandzinski it's old But not stupid at all A lot of people including me have to buy chinese one and it's so cheap and of course Those drone can only play for 5 minute, and they dont last very long My drone just live for a year and then it's cant run anymore And this phantom 1's battery even has more mah than my phone

Yes you're right it was introduced in November of 2012.
My P2 just went crazy when I tried to fly it. All batteries would not charge and the one I bought knockoff still made it fly weird.
