Maybe so, but as a human of the 70s I can tell you that the engagement is just as big for people born later and wished they could have lived in the decade before they were born. However, there's nothing we can do other than cheer the music in our own way. I love the music of all my heart and I feel that it's my periode of time for it, despite being born 4 years too late to even live in the decade!

    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
That's what I am her yesterday man
Please tell me something have you met an angel
Someone too lovely to live on earth
Well yesterday I thought I met an angel
But she wasn't worth all she seemed to be worth
And oh what a fool I have been
    I was sure taken in
    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
That's what I am her yesterday man
    There's some of the good
And then some of the bad kind
Some of the others are in between
But all that I can say is
    She is the worst kind
Well I think you know just what I mean
And yet in spite all that I say
I'd take her back any day
    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
That's what I am her yesterday man

Classic 65 Golden,World wide hit with limited play in the states.Nevertheless I used to play this regularly in the late sixties as a triple play Yesterday Man,Today by Jefferson Airplane and Tomorrow by Strawberry Alarm clock,Also would change out Yesterday by The Beatles,Today by the New Christy Minstrels and Tomorrow Never Knows from The Beatles!

Thanks for uploading! I think this and Sonny and Cher's 'I got you babe' are my earliest memories from Top of the Pops (UK TV) ; I was 6. ( Makes sense as we didn't have a TV before I went to school at 5). I remember neighbours kids singing Beatles songs and 'My Boy Lollipop' before that, but these are my earliest visual memories of the wonderful 60s performers. Happy days!

    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
That's what I am, her yesterday man
Please tell me something have you met an angel
Someone too lovely to live on earth
Well yesterday I thought I met an angel but she wasn't worth but she seemed to be worth
And oh what a fool I have been
    I was sure taken in
    Now I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
That's what I am, her yesterday man
Get some of the good kind and some of the bad kind
Some of the others or in between
But all that I can say she is the worse kind
Well I think you know what I mean
And yet for all that I say
    I take the bad anyday
    Now I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
    I'm her yesterday man
Well my friends that's what I am
That's what I am, her yesterday man
Oh come a little little closer baby don't yet tell me
You're gonna leave me, you'll leave me
I know that, I know that
I know that, I know that...
