Fascinating technique. Goes well with the rug where you were painting. In 15 years you will still saying the same things about creative kids!! My 22 yo daughter is into crochet and knitting at the moment and it is everywhere!!!!!!!! Ha, and don't get me started on the number of times the 3 of them were caught drawing on walls or furniture but said "no I am not doing that" whilst still drawing !!
I have a blue and orange turkish carpet in my bathroom, I think this would go very well with it, thanks a lot, I am going to order this and try it, be blessed.
Dying to try this with the gulf, bunker hill blue, aubergine and another color yet to be determined. Maybe a chartreuse or yellow. Thinking about it. Thank you so much for your amazing talent and inspiration. I would never have chosen these colors to use together but your expertise in using the different techniques made it work. I’m going to watch this one again.
I love this technique! I’ve learned so many ways to layer and blend so now it’s my time to give it a try👏 Thanks for continuing to bring us such great tutorials Crys’Dawna🙋🏾♀️ ❤️ them!!
Cassandra Smith you just have to share with me when you do it!! I bet it will be amazing!! You are so welcome I am so grateful for you my beautiful friend ❤️
Thank you so much, I have been wanting to learn this for so long. And by the way, you are an awesome teacher! I have learned so much from you and I truly appreciate it. I really love your talent. Thank you again.
I love this technique as well! I’ve been faux painting for a long time and it reminds me a lot like that! I’ll definitely be trying this! Thank you for sharing!
Awesome video! I thought you sanded the "orange" areas back to the original finish. Never would have known that orange paint was in those areas! You are one of my favorite DB painters!
Thanks for this Chrys Dawna! I’m working on a mirror with mould appliqués and I was about to attempt this process, I like the tip about sealing the peek a boo colour. Crossing my fingers that I can achieve this look today. 🤞🏻
I LOVE this technic...sorry, what kind of metal sponge is that you used ?!...I didn't find only chalk paint colors in Dixie Belle home...I suppose it's a painting BRUSH, not one for kitchen ! 😉🤣
The blue that you start painting on with the Gulf doesn't look like the Bunker Hill blue that you painted all over the cabinet in the beginning. It looks more silvery. Did you add something else after the blue and before the Gulf?
Too funny! Your red wasn't showing up on my TV as red until you got a clear shot of your hot pink hair, purple shirt AND the red paint. Then it didn't look pink any longer. 🙃

I LOVE this technic...sorry, what kind of metal sponge is that you used ?!...I didn't find only chalk paint colors in Dixie Belle home...I suppose it's a painting BRUSH, not one for kitchen ! 😉🤣
Where do you sell your pieces?
What happened to the red that was going to pop out at the end?
Does hunker blue dry purple as it looks blue in pot
It is a brighter navy blue :) no purple at all ❤️
Desde España veo todo lo que haces. La pena es que no entiendo el idioma. Podías subtutularlo por favor?. Gracias
Comencé a subtitular videos más nuevos, cuesta cientos de dólares hacerlo. Lo intento poco a poco porque es caro.

Feibhár Baldwin-Wall no it’s just bunker hill blue, could be the lighting. Promise I didn’t slip anything else in there.
@@BellaRenovare Thank you!
Feibhár Baldwin-Wall you are so welcome :) sometimes the lighting hits it just right to make it look different. :)
Too funny! Your red wasn't showing up on my TV as red until you got a clear shot of your hot pink hair, purple shirt AND the red paint. Then it didn't look pink any longer. 🙃
hahahahaha all the colors!!
