I would always put the strand of hair on the curling airon and just wait like i wouldn’t start moving it up from down and things like that so thanks now i know how its really done!

Im so glad that you pointed out your actual individual hair type because that can contribute to how your hair curls and styles SO MUCH. As soon as I started this video I saw one of the little clips at the beginning and you had a little low setting bun in your hair. I was immediately jealous LOL. I have the thicker individual strands and its so hard to keep curls in or do pretty relaxed looking styles. Mind just ends up frizzy lol. Im currently exploring different kinds of products to help!
When I was young my hair was really thin, now that I'm older, I don't know if menopause(hormone changes in my body but as I went through my 50, I noticed a lot of hair falling out, went to my hairdresser for help cause I was so afraid I was going bald but instead I had new hair growth and now it is thick and about 4 1/2 from my waist. I usually donate it so it can be used to make wigs with real hair for cancer patients. My older sister passed away from skin cancer in 1995 and I remember her wearing a wig at times which helped to keep her spirit up, she was a beautiful redhead. I will be 60 years old in 4 days and plan on letting it grow until it is past my hips but during this time I want to curl it and wear it down cause I usually wear it up in a ponytail and never take the time to style it., and will probably be the last time in my life that I have long hair. Thank you young lady for showing this video, I also hate drying my hair.

I have that same Conair curling iron and I’ve had it for at least 10 years, to joke. I’ve tried lots of others over the years - expensive, cheap, wands, etc - and nothing works as well. It is still going strong and it handles my thick curly coarse hair like a pro!

Carson Light It went really well!! Took some photos in a woodsy areas wearing a flowy white dress and then just some lace cloth around me (that was exhilarating)! Hair looked gorgeous, especially when there was a breeze! 😍

I really love your hair! I want mine to have nice volume like that but I think it doesn’t because I have very thick ends and not really any layers, what do you get your hairdresser to do to get your hair that way when you get it cut?

But how do you keep them from falling out? I’ll curl may hair and by the time I’m done they’ve all fallen out even with hair spray sometimes
hi hi!!! try dry shampoo before to make the hair have more texture! make sure to use the technique when you hold the curl in your hand before gently releasing, to let it cool. let me know if this works i hope so girl!! xo

I just got this curling iron today. I was curious what your preferred heat setting is? I tried it and got some nice curls but 10 minutes later they were gone :(
hi!!! yay so glad you got it. normally i curl on 350-380, and then i dont finger-comb thru the curls until they're completely cooled! I'm doing another curls tutorial soon that may help you. ill tag you when i upload!

I've watched this video so many times, it is really helpful! One thing I definitely would like some help with is when you twist the curling iron with the hair in it. If that makes sense. I cannot roll my hair in the curling iron. Help!
okay so!! try to not CLAMP *too hard* with the iron so the hair moves more easily around the iron, let me know if this works for you!!

Try a leave in conditioner spray before blow drying it’ll help not tangle and it’s better for hair health

@@CARSONLIGHT Yeah I definitely love the smell! I have such long, thick hair that it takes forever to heat style my hair. Last year, my sister's friend curled my hair for a party and she was getting tired, because I have so much hair LOL!

Amanda Gruda Hi! Those are usually called ‘money pieces’ so I get those in the front and baby lights all around with a cool toned toner for a “cool blonde” and i keep it darker underneath so its more natural 🥰😍😍
