    You did this 5 months ago and it's still helpful. As of today it's only $20 on Prime after a $3 coupon. I have an original Ender 3 modified to be about like a V2. After watching your video I didn't have to go to the tiny "instructions" at all. Thanks to one of your commenters (Victor,) I just connected mine right to the power supply as there are already spare 24v terminals making it unnecessary to remove the motherboard. It looks and works great! Thank you.

    Thank you so much for this video. I watched other videos and the other people were clueless. You explain things so well. You explain the channels that the wires go into and thru. You explain the self threading screws you explain the wire going down the back and the plastic cover. You explain hooking it into power. The other videos I watched are a joke. Other videos don’t even install it properly and are using their videos as an example. Excellent job on your part! Excellent!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

    I got one of these lights for a great deal online and I'm happy it's now installed and working! Not to hard once you know where the cables need to go. I would like to see them create one in a ring that extends around the back of the printer as well to eliminate shadow. Nevertheless, it's a great light that I can use to check prints at night time. Love it!

    I was about to pick one of these up, but I'm concerned about the shadow - I think if I DIY'd this, I'd put the light out closer to the front of the machine. Maybe even print a vertical mount that mounts right to the front (though that might inhibit access a little bit).

    I have an Ender 3 Neo and I want to install an LED light with a dimmer switch. Would it be fairly straight forward to add a dimmer switch to this kit or should I look for a different kit? Recommendations on how to get started are appreciated.

    Can I turn the Creality LED light on and off using the Creality Cloud App?

    • @3DRundown
      @3DRundown  8 месяцев назад

      No, because it's hard wired to the board, and controlled via a physical switch. For printers, such as the CR10-SMART with Stock LED lights, you CAN.

    • @osvaldovargas3648
      @osvaldovargas3648 8 месяцев назад

      @3DRundown is there anyway to have the LED controllable via the Creality Cloud app for a Ender 3 Pro?

    • @3DRundown
      @3DRundown  8 месяцев назад +1

      Not that I know of, because the PRO also has to be wired to the board. The S1, and the CR10-SE have dedicated light ports. Somebody smarter than me, may have a way?

      Do you have 12v at the light? Losing power somewhere. Perhaps a bad cable, bad solder, etc, somewhere between the connectio at the board, and the LED itself. Test the LED on another power source, see if it turn on. If not, look for that connection issue, or, return it for a replacement
