Hey Brandon I'd really love a tutorial on how to create the different file sizes and any tips tricks you use to make it a smoother process when doing each new design ..
This was awesome. The print sizes in the description were really helpful. Could you please do a video about how you create the different sizes? I'm noticing that my prints keep getting squished when I'm trying to resize the image.
Thank you for your videos ! Very inspiring! I deal since young but I’m very rusty right now.i like fantasy drawing a lot. I’m a house cleaner for over 20 years my body is falling apart i need to get starting what i love doing! You are inspiring me. Thank you! Do people have to have a degree for this? I have the natural skills never went to school for it.
Thanks for this. In the process of revamping my store and taking charge of things. I created a table for the fees and I was wondering if you could do a video on this. Trying to provide a fair price is tricky!
Thank you for all of your videos; they are incredibly helpful. I'm nearly ready to open my digital print store and I have one large step to finish. Is there somewhere that I could download a size chart, copyright info, and instructions for printing the art. I know that I need to include that information but I'm just not sure how to do it. If another seller would like to jump in here, I would be grateful for the information. Thanks!
Hey there Timothy, thanks for those tips. I've been watching some of your Etsy videos regarding printable wall art. I'm a hobby artist and I've been creating some oil pastel artworks and taking high quality photos of them. I'm trying to complete a good enough quantity of them before I start on planning to create my online shop. Anyways, thanks again for those tips and keep up the good work. 👍
Great advice! Is there a chance they're going to download and use my digital artwork to repurpose and sell on their own? Or does etsy have terms to prevent that?
Does it every bother you that giving the JPEG file someone might use your design then resell it or make prints? Of course it's illegal but how do you prevent that?
Hi Brandon! Very helpful video! Would you please help me with the canvas size you use on Procreate in order to scale them down to various ratios and sizes. Also do you alter the sizes on Procreate itself or is there any other (preferably free) app you could suggest. Thank you in advance! ♥️
Hi Brandon, thank sagain for all your wonderful videos. these tips are so valuable. i want to start with digital art, as my teeshirt etc shop is not doing well enough. My question....can i make digital prints of paintings that i have done on canvas?? and how do i go about it...please...please explain to me step by step ...if at all possible. thanks a million, Christa. Hey, great video, thanks for that. I have one question: Do you add bleed at the edges (3mm for example)? I am not sure about that, becaus, if the customer print it at home, he will use the right paper, so the bleed dont will be cut of and the print looks strange and not like it suposed to be. But if you dont ad the bleed and he goes to a printshop (or an online printshop) they will maybe cut of a bit of the design, and when there is no bleed, they will cut of the real design. I am not sure, if I should upload the regualr sized artwork or with an added bleed...
i’ve uploaded a few listings, used searchable words in my titles and tags but the only views are from myself. do you have any tips on getting your first sale?
Can I sell digital printable art and digital products (journals, planners etc) in one store since they are all digital items? But niches and subs are different? A little confused, would appreciate any tips! Thanks :)
Brandon.. in your honest opinion.. Would the Etsy and POD business model still work? How do you get your printable wall art be on the first page of ETSY?
Hello Brandon! Thanks for sharing great stuff. For the Wall Art digital downloads, for better print output, which mode in PSD do I need to choose before saving to JPEG or PDF, is it RGB or CMYK? Thanks!
Oh, I forgot to ask your opinion. Do you think it's recommended to have a second Etsy shop while still building the 1st shop? Or, should I just focus on building my 1st shop? It's because I'm trying to do another niche that has good stats and I may have better opportunity on this one. I'm not saying I'm letting go the 1st shop because it's the niche that I actually like. Unfortunately, the stats not doing so well and day by day I'm trying to improve this shop.
I would say it mostly depends on what you're making and how much you are making. What you're making - if you're just adding more of whats already saturated the market then you may well be lost in the crowd, whereas if you're creating interesting and original/unique works then you will stand out. How much you're making - if you can get 2000 quality listings for printable artworks with good SEO etc, then I think you will succeed without fail as you have so many listings you can have a dominant presence in the market.

Hi Timothy, Great Video.
what is the number 1 tool you'd recommend for all Etsy sellers
Great advice! Is there a chance they're going to download and use my digital artwork to repurpose and sell on their own? Or does etsy have terms to prevent that?
AMAZAING! Thank you ! Its very helpfull. I would like to see a video, where you show us how to do the different Sizes on Photoshot :)

Does it every bother you that giving the JPEG file someone might use your design then resell it or make prints? Of course it's illegal but how do you prevent that?
What if I only have my phone for all of this can I still make it up to a good quality?

Overall size is great to know. Thanks. How about number of pixels, in relation to inches?
I have a video coming up which explains more. Stay tuned!

My one question that doesn’t seem to get answered on many vids would be… do you add bleed and or crop marks to the download files?
Would really appreciate an answer to this too
Nope, I personally don’t add bleed or crop marks to my files.
Hey Brandon. Do you have a video on canva? I’m very new to this. How do I apply the sizing ratios in canva.
Sure I’ll make a video on this soon!
Can I use a jpeg with 300DPI for wall art on printify
Great video 👍 you spoke about sizes but what about ppi ? Would you use 300 ppi ?
Yup 300 dpi would be best
Brandon.. in your honest opinion.. Would the Etsy and POD business model still work? How do you get your printable wall art be on the first page of ETSY?
Yup it definitely still works. As long as you have a good product (visuals) and good keyword selection
@@brandontimothy Mm gotcha! Thanks so much. Appreciate all your kind-spirited videos!

I personally use Jpeg and rgb! Thanks for watching :)
Can an international student in canada sell digital prints on etsy?

Which format do you save your artwork in? Pdf, pdf for print, png. 😀
I personally use jpg, but it really depends on you :)
Do people usually get it printed at print shops? Because I feel like printing art pictures at home will waste a lot of ink
Yes, most people would bring it to a printing service to print. Since you can’t really print that big from home anyway
@@brandontimothy ah ok thanks
How long did it take to make your first sale!
It ranges from store to store. Could be a couple month, or the next day! Which happened to one of my stores :)
@@brandontimothy it took your store the next day or a couple of months? Okay great.
Is printable wall art pretty saturated on Etsy or is there still room to grow?
I would say it mostly depends on what you're making and how much you are making.
