Merciless on a rifle? yeah, no surprise its not stacking up, you can only hit one target at a time. All my auto rifles use Deadhead for this reason, this *does* make Gorgon (normal mode) viable in SP. BUT is an anti-synergy with the Incarnon mode, which changes to an AoE
The funniest thing about this weapon is that since it functions like the lenz but without a cold proc most enemies walk out of the aoe before it explodes if I shoot it at their feet. The thing needs like a status proc to hold enemies in its aoe and possibly a pull like the incarnon gammacor or tenet Plinx has. I just can’t take the incarnon gorgon seriously.
The gorgon in its current state will mimic the felarx where we will only use it in normal form. To be honest the normal form even though the buffs are terrible is still a decent gun and can kill sp targets if built without incarnon consideration.
@@wellplayedninjas I don't care if people don't like something i like in warframe lol don't worry. Brozime considered the gorgon incarnon one of the worst for this week too and i don't agree with him either :P
i like this gun without the incarnon form. its my favorite thing to use in disruption with metamorphic magazine to make sure demolishers never move. i also manage to get really good damage out of it in steel path in general
Same. I build it for cold cause thanks to the arcane I get extra multishot and crit damage without having to kill other enemies while also slowing down the demolisher in case they break out. Now that cold adds even more crit damage via status proc it should be better. Well, at least when extra crit buff on proc actually works, cuz bugframe.
@@OWOBruce i dont feel the better when i can stun lock the demolish with nukor for hitting it 1 sec. Actually, im suprised too! After cold status was buff, i buy a riven nukor and roll it. Get + cd and cold( so i dont wasted 1 slot mod). I still keep my nukor magnetic. Demolist still get 9 cold stack. And even acolyte, which get.maximum 4 stack still closed to stun lock with nukor.
im my opinion this is a great weapon yall just dont know where it shines at. me personally i think this is the best weapon for soloing mantle on earth yall just mad.
The non-boar/gammacor incarnons of this week needs serious buffs. Final evo giving 6% more crit on the gorgon? 12% more status? I agree with the theory that they were scared of making them really strong because these are the first incarnons you can pay for and wanted to stave off p2w accusations (which I dont agree with).
while hammer shot is a cool mod, it'd be better to replace it with galvanized aptitude. on my build I have a (+ms +cd +bane of corpus -status duration) where your vital sense is and metamorphic magazine where primed shred is. even then just replacing the hammer shot should be enough to elevate the build (at least where the primary firing mode is concerned). this incarnon should have been more like the burston's or should have had some gimmick other than lenz but worse. that all being said the actual alt fire projectile's dps is pretty nice, the aoe and the charge fire mechanic is kinda meh.
by projectile I mean the dart that it fires out. it is kinda letdown with this one, but at least the first evo and the 4th evo improving the non incarnon form
lately the person responsible for the design and mechanics of weapons has been very disappointing to warframe players...gammacor, gorgon, soma, anku and a weapon that few are talking about...the lenz prism...what the hell did they do with the weapon ?
That's what i thought. Really liked Gorgon in 2014 but it got obsolete fast. And they didn't fix it ever. And now they're shitting on it with this shitty incarnon. Shame. No love for this weapon from DE. And it's our only classic GPMG in the whole game.
I dont know man, that build is kinda questionable. And you're telling me its having a hard time ramping up with that build on a merciless arcane? I mean no wonder. On other showcases its doing more damage than what you have done and in fact, Gammacor even seems bugged. It is true all 5 new incarnons are underwhelming, but I wouldnt call Gorgon trash with that build of yours that dont even have base damage to start with. Or Bane even.
You must of missed my point throughout the video. Most weapons can build PM without dmg mod or a bane. This weapon can’t. I only test against CHG steel path. Its the best baseline for testing a weapons worth in my opinion
@@wellplayedninjas most weapons as in which ones exactly? Im pretty sure most, if not, all weapons would use either one of those because of the fact that you do need some help stacking that or source that damage from warframe synergies. Testing weapons only on CHG while also not considering trash fodders which is again, intended to be the ones that help you maintan stacks. Also i would understand if you also just dont like the incarnon mode because it is kinda wonky, but i dont mind it personally. Do not bother with all of this weeks weapons they all suck compared to weapons like, ceramic dagger, miter, torid, laetum, phenmor, burston, latron, furis, braton, felarx and even strun.
You can’t even aim the boar so galvanised scope is no good, a torid without riven will probably be better than a boat with riven, it’s unreal how bad this weeks incarnons are, these are not incarnon weapons except in name.
I've been easily gunning down level 500 steel path enemy's with the boar. Damage is thru the roof. I think some of the lesser tenno need to spend more time modding and less time complaining on RUclips.
@@captainkonor7520 it only takes me 1-3 shots to charge it, it's bad if ur far away but just get up close and personal other than that, boar is a downgrade from torid but still good, angstrum arguably the best one this week and gammacor is a actually unique and somewhat useful. anku and gorgon are the only 2 garbage weaps this week.
