I liked the story, but it definitely raised more questions than answers. I'm hoping the next updates bring more clarity. That aside, I loved the overall experience.

Amen. I commented this on another video, but it feels like someone cut 50% of the script. Theres lots of themes they wanted to explore, like the People that represent the emotional state of Duviri, but they just get dropped in front of you, no exposition or explanation. The "confrontation" with Dominus was like what, 30 seconds long? I know most Warframe players dont want long cutscenes, but man this quest could have been great, amazing even, if they just let the characters talk more than 2 sentences.
@@IplayTeemoasaWard I feel like I'm in the minority on this but... I like that we didn't get ham over fist full explanations handed to us for duviri. This is mint very clearly at least to me and I feel that they've spoken about this in pre-release, it's meant to be somewhat of an origin story for how The drifter came to be. The void is this weird limbo like place though, so where between an afterlife and a primordial place outside reality. By their very nature stories about locations like this often will take a bit of a weird artsy esoteric vibe.
I think that the resolution that a lot of people are coming to although this wasn't my interpretation on my play through although I think I've been convinced by this point is that duviri is a storybook. It's a fairy tale from the orokin empire. Dominus Thrax *is* the drifter. Or at least they're a construct created in the image of The Drifter. A scared ass kid who got chucked into the void and externalized their grief and trauma by creating a fantasy kingdom from stories they knew. The emotion based characters are shards of the drifters emotions, going through the spiral is them taking some kind of control back, after being stuck in a loop for who knows how long. Teshin and the connection to the Operator broke the cycle and helped them process that grief.
Obviously it's a bit weird that in the new war The drifter has no void powers and no warframes even if we expect that duviri took place before, but if we go with the interpretation that this was kind of all of a weird internalised mental trip, the drifter maybe doesn't even fully remember it. Or maybe they know of Warframes since they don't seem surprised by them, but they weren't expecting to pilot one in the real world.
The undercroft kind of represents to me this idea of whats really going on. Some of the characters talk about how "duviri wishes to forget about the great tragedy, but the undercroft is the void, and the void remembers the zariman."
My take away is that duviri is this pocket dimension inside the void the drifter made, but it's all smoke and mirrors. The undercroft is more the real void, and a connection point between the origin system and where the drifters duviri lays.

Be aware that doing "Duviri Experience" currently has a bug where the Main Mission Marker will simply vanish and not return, and your second ability won't seek it out after that. You just have to *remember* where it was. So if you're going to farm AT ALL, make a mental note of the location of the mission, then come back once you're ready to do them all in sequence, since it vanishes sort of randomly.
Best bet? Do everything up to the Wyrm fight, then make a note of where the Orvius spawns, then do your farming.
You can just leave duviri exp. Every time you get decrees the game saves

As long as you leave and not fail duviri exp you should be fine

You do not lose resources when you leave duviri experience. You do not have to fight the wyrm

The circuit wave 3 to four transition bug was fixed in a HotFix yesterday, although there are still a couple remaining nasty bugs that can periodically occur especially if you get a host migration or anyone from your team leaves... It can break the objectives. For Duviri experience, main issue is the markers disappearing, so just note the exact location of the objective before you ignore it, or probably even safer, clear everything till the flying worm part, as it's pretty hard to lose a giant worm. Keep grabbing open world decrees in non steel path version and you'll quickly become so op you can basically one shot most enemy waves, leaving you with super fast objectives you can clear to get 3 intrinsics each time.

Don't forget. If you find Duviri Fragments, you get 5 intrinsics each and there's 81 total.

I went solo for the exact same problems... This was my first experience with a brand new expansion. I decided to bug off and just go back to farming Lyches and Sisters. I figured I would just try again in a month or so when DE gets their act together, but after watching this I might give Duviri another chance but solo. Host migration is one of the worst things in this game.

I agree with you here. For now it’s a good option to avoid glitches and so on. The game saves everytime after one decree (not main missions) is earned so you can just leave. You also get the res. I tested it myself when i lost network connection for over 30 minutes.
Edit: Disclaimer that doesnt work im Circus and only been tested im duviri experience
Quick-tip, use slide attacks when using the Drifter to annihilate the DAX soldiers in Duviri.

100%... Got tired of trying to remember everything to do with attacks right away so I ended up just slide attacking with status procs and can definitely confirm this works lol

Just pull out your gun and headshot everything.
Bonus damage on reload, crits proc AoE toxin, shoot, head shot, reload, proc timed reload, headshot repeat.
200k+ damage to the head.
I loved the Duviri experience. It has brought new players to Warframe, Ive had new and returning player flooding into my clan on playstation.
Tip: to avoid fall damage summon your mount or execute a roll just before impact 😁👍
This. I already knew this beforehand, and I'm sure I've surprised a handful of players with the heights I drop with no care in the world.
I've lost the main quest twice now the 1st time I managed to find the portal but the 2nd time was a complete loss
The markers break to easily and the 2nd ability to find it again also seem to break on top of having limited range
And I've also got the 3mission bug and just rage quite the game mode
I've lost to many hours for 0 gain might just wait for a few bug fixes b4 try any of this again
When you press leave duviri, Dont you get all the intrinsics AND resources? im almost sure we do

It would be nice if, for once, DE would actually test their product better so we don't have to fight their bugs for weeks after a release.

Note: after you defeat the worm you don't have to extract you can carry on doing those side quests for as long as you like or until it bugs out

I have yet to complete a run and I’ve tried a dozen times. The waypoints glitch, sure, but sometimes the undercroft survivals do as well. They never spawn the life support or enemies.
Host leaving fixes the problem, for once.
Had a new bug since latest patch notes. Intrinsics earned do not add to the total but replace it.
Had 93, Did one run and earned 177, extracted and had 177 did another run straight after and earned 234. Extracted and had 234.
Moral of the story, spend after you extract so you don't lose any Intrinsics
thats not a bug it always shows your total intrinsics point at the mission end screen since railjack
@@gogogaga3784 I'm not talking about the end of mission screen, I'm talking about the intrinsic table in the dormizone.
It overwrites your previous total with the total you just earned in the mission. It might be fixed by now but honestly haven't checked.
The thing about duviri quest is that its pretty self contained. Luckily they supposedly fixed the transition bug. Bugs asside this mode is just fun. You can B line the boss for a "challenge" or you can dump on the boss with some prep.
Bug after bug after bug. Either being unable to finish a required quest, being left behind permanently in the undercroft while the rest of the team continues (duviri exp), being split up from an organized group at high level steel path circuit and everybody failing, etc..
Glade someone else has picked up on doing side missions ,because on my first tryed end up with 175 of stuff, plus once the buffs get going its most a mattof getting bored
Happened to me too, doing the circuit we have to exit at the end of wave 3 or it will get stuck and we can only abandon losing everything lol
Ive not jumped into the duviri experience, but i have been enjoying the circuit on steel path as a player that has been a bit on & off with warframe for a few years. Did enjoy the story even though it did feel like it was setting up future updates
When it works I'll give it another go haha. I'll focus on the MIGHTY SEER for now

Solo play has almost no issues. If you stuck, make missions before you leave

If it helps you understand the story better form what I gather is that it takes place right as the new war starts almost like time moves slower in the paradox
I mean, I get where duviri is going and it's basically telling the origin of drifter and how it connects with the operator and the origin system. It's confusing though as there are many characters right now that I want to know more and there are pieces in the zariman that I don't understand.
@Grind Hard Squad If u think about King thrax as the drifters timelines Rell then it all starts to make more sense as he never learned to control his emotions and the void powers made them manifest into actual beings. These beings have masks for faces like the cards his mother used to teach him emotions. And going through the quest line u see him being very isolated and kinda bullied by the other Zariman kids, him being the Rell of this timeline just makes so much sense.
Would be funny if you could continue to do the Komi game over and over to gain 3 intrinsics
as a film major, i found the whole thing very compelling but i can see why most people would find it very confusing.
I did too, until the last 30 seconds, when i realized that this whole place is just your own mentally constructed pocket dimension, so it's all in your head, accept what goodies you can take. And Gandalf Teshin. But it certainly takes away any investment in any of the NPCs besides Teshin.
I've had alot of "session unavailable " disconnect during runs. Lost all progress/ rewards. So yeah. Solo for a while
Seems to be the same thing every open world map they do, lots of the same bugs.
I loved it. I friggin knew it too!! Although all of the multiplayer duviri stuff has broken 100% of the time. But solo is fun.
I wish they put the solo mode as 'the way duviri should be experienced' as this makes sooo much more sense
I've had a solo bug where I was pushing one of the balls of the stone to throw in the puzzle bucket things and my drifter got stuck completely still and the unstuck command didn't work and couldnt summon horse etc. Wasted hours of farming had to quit
The update that happened today mad it harder to even get into a match without it bugging

There's also a marker bug in the main mission on duviri. It just disappears when you go far away and when you do side quests. Plus the missions are also bugged even though you killed all the dax, the game wont let you progress and it happened to me 3 times. It's also a waste of progress and all your hours of farming resources are gone except intrinsics.
Once you get Opportunity Intrinsic to rank 9 you can easily grind SP Duviri Experience. After I finished Opportunity I then played for 4 hours collected every decree and got over 1000 Intrinsic rewards I thought I was playing regular Duviri Experience, I only found out that it was Steel Path after I finished and got a boat load of Steel Essence.
5:16 speaking of the fishing if you have played maneater this mode should feel familiar as it’s basically the same game.
I got stuck in the undercorft there is so many bugs and glitches it's ridiculous like I don't understand how d e release something that's so buggy like this isn't there style
I had the same issue in the circuit. Did 3 and was left stranded and was forced to lose all my progress while playing solo.
That happened to me after round 12. i couldnt switch back to Warframe and the mission failed.
My game tends to crash whenever I enter the Undercroft mostly for the second time. I thought maby it was because I got too powerful too fast or something so I tried keeping the grinding to a minimum until it was time to fight the orowyrm. But earlier when I did that, I grinded for a bit before I summoned the wyrm and then my game crashed. Thankfully I still keep whatever Intrinsics I earn but it still kinda kills it for me. I can barley finish Duviri Exp to the end now cuz of all the crashing.
Heads up, DE just released 33.0.2 and it supposedly fixes the circuit bug where you can't go past stage 3. I've haven't had a chance to login to see for myself but hopefully it works.
For me the history is irrelevant, I don't see how it benefits Warframe general narrative or lore.
Its feels like that type of history where they end with a "this never truly happened" or "it was all a dream" shitshow
It's more of a primer for story expansion
It has details and explains things that don't mean much right now, but will very likely be important for big stuff in the future

So I said something similar to this on another video.
Basically I said that the lender system lives or dies on how good DEs builds are but no matter how good they are they will never be as good as a player made one, case in point a yter and streamer was streaming launch day and he got his Sarya prime and his reaction was ok good game we just won the next 5 games easy (they ended up going 6 or so and we’re 2 meaning it by round 3) but most people don’t have that kind of build on there main frame let alone on every frame in the game and DEs lenders won’t have subsums on them plugging holes (heck I miss having mags pull when I’m on a frame that dosnt have it like my Xaku) and the lenders probably won’t have any forma on them so all in all they will be quite weak.
If you are someone that owns lots (like I sadly do) you are going to have a boring few days as you go though setting up useful builds on all your stuff you got to level 30 then abandoned and sticking potato’s in all the frames and guns is going to cost a Fortune as it’s 20 plat a time, lucky if you own both the prime and the normal one it will auto pick the prime version (well lucky unless you installed a bunch of forma into the normal one and the prime was just MR fodder).

guys i found a way aroun the bug where you lose your marker, enter the encroft and it will come back upon completion.
PSA on the wave 3 issue it was a known bug that I believe has since been fixed (haven't done circuit yet to check at the time of me writing this)

5:52 That is a bug. Youre not supposed to lose the Marker. And don't worry you're not dumb for forgetting to use your 2. It wouldn't have worked either thanks to the bug. Unfortunately my initial duviri experience has been ruined by gamebreaking bugs :) But I won't let that discourage me. I'm enjoying the content because I learned to dodge some of the bugs
Anddd I'm bugged fall out of map after opening last boss chest and lost everything. It happened twice so I stopped playing solo until they fixed that.

Lots of bugs. Game game crash 3 time after 2 hrs farming resources. Got trapped outside the map a bunch of times. Some stages weren't spawning. Some side mission fights on drop 2 out of 3 packages to spawn the Thrax. Host migration was sending me back to my Landing craft. Other than that, it was fun. I'm sure DE will HOTFIX the heck out of it 😁👍
I played 2.5 hours straight and my operator was so fast I could zoom across the map and 1 hit everything. Lol I had to finish the session because of life.
Don't know if mines bugged but I don't get more intrinsics as I go, it's always 3 for the whole mission (I don't think affinity/resource boosters work on INT either)

The only youtuber to mention the random warframes and weapons, which can be garbage tier stuff. It's not fun to use these. The normal mode is pretty much useless regarding rewards. Also, the drifter is not fun.
You don't lose any rewards, materials or intrinsics when you leave. It literally states you keep everything you gained and gathered from the last Decree mark.

I didn't have any problems with mission marker on Duviri, guess i was lucky or maybe switch doesn't have this bug. One thing i do to farm is kill the orowyrm first and then i go farming before going to the portal that ends the mission. I don't benefit from the decrees i farmed during the boss fight but at least i can't lose my progress and farming. Maybe you should try that.
I had the problem when someone go in the portal to the undercroft alone, so the marker disappears, and you get kinda stuck until someone find it again (so ping before going in or wait for people to be next to it)
Does having a booster effect how many you get ?
I thought it was awful honestly but the zone is cool looking.

If you select a decree while transitioning to the next zone it locks you game keeping you in the last zone you completed

Oh side missions exist in duviri experience ye I was so confused as to what to do in that first stage of the boss fight, well that makes a ton more sense now thanks for that
My only problem with the side-missions is that the waypoint for the main mission disappears when you do some side missions or if you go too far. so I try to just finish the main quest and when its time to exit, I do the side quests.
I wa having the same problem. Drifter's 2nd ability does help.
@@thegrindshack Unfortunately it doesn't at some point. I had this happen to me three times already. The 2nd ability didn't lead me back, it only led me to other activities.

confusing as hell xD didnt understand one thing what happen and sux that the Second Dream experience could no longer replicated for new players at this point but overall the new circuit and overall bounty system for duviri is a good experience in my book...for someone that doesnt like roguelite I guess wouldnt love this update but it was fun for me cuz love that genre..now when can we see warframe battle royale xD but I guess that fad is dying already to late to jump in to that genre
I don't want to play Duviri. I still haven't maxed out a single other faction in the whole game and I've been playing for well over 5yrs

Actually it seems any resources you gain in duviri are saved up to your last decree as far as I am aware, so leaving before the wyrm fight doesnt really have much of a downside

Yes after 3 it is super bugged. There are other bugs where enemies never spawn in circuit.
On console, closing and reopening the game fixes the stage three soft lockat least from what ive experienced however thats me playing solo.
i just don't like drifter combat at all with the weapons i am given for him so im avoiding duviri like a plague right now

Can someone please explain to me how I get health like that on drifter I start at 250 but then can randomly jump to like 400 during duviri missions and i don’t really know why I also do have vazarin as my focus school but idk if that’s actually helping

The war within was a nice quest, but since then DE got obsessed with the psychological bullshit and it's getting boring.
