I appreciate your great writing. Makes for a very entertaining review.
Even a new 40k r has a check engine light on 😂
You're bang on about the pricing too. In my experience the GTI can be had at huge discount, and especially could be had at that time (2017-2018). They wouldn't budge on the R though
Nothing like doing a U-turn across a double line two lane road in the middle of a blind curve. It really gives validity to your liability-only bargain bin insurance coverage.
Ahh my favorite production I've even been part of. I love spring awakening
Oh boy, 2am
Was that a Macintosh Plus reference?
yea
@@RegularCars nice
@@RegularCars it is The vaporwave song
Soviet Labrador That’s like 2+ years old bro...
You managed to hurt each and every feeling I have. How marvelous.
Investment banker analogy spot-the-f**k-on!
Every-time I show a friend one of your videos "I present to you, the greatest car reviewer ever"
LGR making an appearance on RCR? Didn't know he owned a Golf R.
So when will there be a voice over of RCR commenting on a Digital VAX3300 workstation on LGR?
I knew he looked familiar.
That's not Clint man, lol
The beard is wrong.
Was thinking the same thing lol
No offense to that guy, but lgr has lost a fair bit of weight in the last few years, and lost less hair
I really hope he was being serious about crop dusting the loud table...
Because, fuck the loud table.
Some of these RCR opening monologues play like lyrics from a Frank Zappa song. Anybody else with me here?
I started the video in the presence of my mom, normally these videos are at least slightly more tame, I WANT MORE!
Always. I repeat always check your computer volume before watching RCR or you WILL have to EXPLAIN things.
Glad to see they still use the engine light to tell you the car is running.
Thumbs up for the under appreciated Pilot Wings reference.
I think I still want to eventually replace my 2nd gen Mazdaspeed3 with a Golf R. I live in Canada and we have snow most of the year so a regular GTI isn’t any faster than a regular Golf when the traction sucks.
I should be asleep because I have to wake up for school in 3.5 hours yet here I am.
I feel that you didn't really hammer on this car when you drove it; At slow and regular speeds, it feels very much like a GTI but once you really get on it (and I mean throwing it into corners at high speed and really driving it aggressively) it's there where you really feel the difference between the two cars. I would never buy a GTI after having experienced the R
This episode hurt my feelings.
Baka Tori good
Spring Awakening for the intro/outro song? Not the first time I've recognized something pretty obscure. Feel like roman's got some real good music taste.
Did I just see WILSON? WIIIIIIILLLLLSOOOOOON
XxStreetShredderxX nope, this one's named Voit.
@@officialclownbusiness7788 Jon Voit?
@@officialclownbusiness7788 Ah, come on, you dick!
Hey man, good to see your channel doing so well. I'm from Allentown, PA. I lived in Schnecksville for a lil while as well. Glad to see a local guy, car enthusiast making some internet money. You should give a shout out to OCD detailing out of Slatington, PA if you don't know who they are. They do the best, professional work in the area. Keep it up!
This guys brain must be a scary place
The voices in his head are quite nice if you get to know them.
it would be a lot like tailgating in the middle of the track at a nascar event, except all the cars racing are mediocre beaters.
Probably cat girls and r/animemes
Too scary
Only for the aforementioned crappy tenants.
I lost it at "blunderbuss trumpet-dump".
The next line about "crop-dusting the loud table in the cafeteria" didn't help me find it again.
Golf R. IT'S GOOD I GUESS
292 or 296 hp? You said both. Also they are pretty capable on the track. I autocross against one and it does very well.
@93rt Focus RS will EAT IT ALIVE on the track!!!!!
The owner looks like he forgot his katana and fedora at home. Dude needs to commit and shave his head.
I thought I'd lost my mind when I heard spring awakening for the intro music cover. But then the outro sealed the deal. I always love finding the little music choices. Like the time you also covered the get up kids.
The clubsport gti is the one that makes it all messed up .. you get a gti engine with little bit more boost and power but not enough to beat an R and they still charge you the same if not more .. and the clubsport is a FWD compared to the AWD in the R .. so confusing
*Volkswagen Golf R:* You're the coolest kid in the parking lot. Until a Golf R32 pulls up...
